"John what are you doing?"

"I'm getting the dress."

"Why?"

"So you can have something to remember your mother. I have the red quilt to remember mine. You'll have the dress."

He smiled as we walked out of the store. "Thank you John." He said taking the paper bag holding the dress from me.

"You're welcome." I said. Let's get lunch. I'm starving."

"Okay, where do you want to eat?"

"I saw a Subway earlier."

"Why do we eat sandwiches so often?"

"Because sandwiches are good."
