foolish, arrogant men overstepped the boundaries of god
[Len] Heaven sent their judgement and then all was lost
[IA] In the midst of all destruction
shielding the world from ruin is the “Tower of Ai”
[Mayu] That is where the life of the earth still burns on...
[Gumi] From another distant kingdom,
came a messenger bearing a letter to the youths
[Meiko] The words of prophecy
[Miku] That the lumber cutter’s daughter
would receive the high honor:【the next messiah】’s role
[Len/Luka] And so we will accept that fate

[IA] Within this tower
[Gakupo] Hidden far away
[IA] the blessings reside
[Gakupo] With the nine of us [Miku/Rin] Only the messiah can retrieve the glory inside
[Kaito] So we will go with you [Len] to the tower
[Kaito] as we all
[Len/Meiko] search for the way
[Kaito] So that our town [Meiko] So that our world
[Rin] On the brink
[Rin/Gumi] of death can be saved

[Meiko] If you wish to bring blessing to the land
[Gakupo] Go forward with all of your heart
[Mayu] Try to hold onto glory in your hands
[Len] With all of your strength
[IA] Pressing onward alongside your trusted friends
[Gumi] Helping one another
[Mayu] Then the fear that you feel
[Len/Luka(2 layers)] will all come to an end
[Miku/Rin] And the very first blessing will be
[Kaito] Inside a swirling pool of life
[Miku/Rin] the 【Blossoming Wave】 of the sea
[Kaito] And she enters now
[Miku] But another hand reaches out
[Kaito] Overlapping
[Miku] And the young man [Miku/Kaito] then sung...
[Kaito] "We will face all our fortune and pain as one!" (laughs)

[Miku] The messiah could do nothing
watching as the first blessing was quickly taken away
[Meiko] From that moment friendship would turn into hate
[Miku] Entering the second chamber
Bloody red began burning within the swordsman’s eyes
[Meiko] As she took the【Fiery Feast】 by her side
[IA] Next they found the 【Graceful Sunlight】
Which was won over by older sister’s open hands, as she smiled happily
[Mayu] Running off in irritation Little sister moved towards the 【Restful Darkness】 and she would never be seen again...

[Miku] "But the prophecy said, the chosen one is me..."
[Gumi] ""Keeping it to yourself... [Gakupo] we will not allow......""
[Miku/Gumi] Just how much can someone truly be altered by greed?
[Gakupo] The monk began to chant
[Miku] a prayer to [Gakupo] the almighty
[Gakupo/Luka] 【Trembling Earth】
[Gumi] And the poet wrote [Luka] to the 【Ambient  [Gumi] Thunder】 her
[Gumi/Miku] most powerful words

[Rin] If you wish to bring blessing to the land
[Len] Then you must sharpen heart and mind
[Luka] Try to hold onto glory in your hands [Len] Quickly as you can
[Miku] Where have you all gone off to, my trusted friends? [Luka] Who is your enemy?
[Miku] Could it be I was wrong [Rin/Luka(2layers)]  about our kindness all along?
[Rin/Luka] Now the【Whirlwind Rondo】’s taken by [Len] the dancer swaying in its air
[Miku/Rin] And the older twin leaves her brother’s side  
[Len] pushing him away
[Rin] Claiming the 【Silver Garden】
[Len] With joyful
[Rin/Len] tears streaming down
And they freeze on her cheeks as she turns around

[Miku] With the very last blessing in front of her
[Len] The 【Quickening Magma】is about to stir
[Miku] The younger twin pretended, but in the end the messiah was lied to....
[Len] Laughing, the boy seemed to glow in his pride
[Miku] Betrayed by the companions that
[IA] she had believed in
[Miku] All nine of the “blessings” in this
[Miku/Luka] world have been stolen now
[Miku] Holding up a torch whose
[Mayu] flame has long gone away
[Miku/Meiko] She walks up toward the altar......

[IA] Within the tower
[Gakupo] Sealed out of sight [IA] the “blessings” await
[Gakupo] to explain the
[Mayu/Gumi] meaning of the penance that the messiah had paid
[Kaito] Carrying what you have lost
[Len] to the tower
[Kaito] the messiah
[Len/Luka] made it this far
[Kaito] With the single hope [Meiko] we will see the day
[Rin] our beloved
[Rin/Meiko] world can restart...

[Kaito] Even as I was swallowed by the sea
[Meiko] Dancing in flames surrounding me
[IA] Even as I fell down to my knees in the drought
[Mayu] Even as I lost my mind to the dark unknown
[Gakupo] Devoured by the great earth
[Kaito/Meiko] Did you think that we would,
[Gakupo/Mayu/IA] let you go on all alone?

[Gumi] Screaming out as the lightning struck me down
[Luka] Shredded in blades of the wind
[Rin] With my body and heart frozen to the ground
[Len] Crawling through fire
[Gumi] Knowing that in sickness and health
[Luka] No matter what happens
[Gumi] For what
[Gumi/Luka] ever may come......
[Miku] Ahhhh----
[Rin/Len] "We will face all our fortune and pain as one!"

[Miku] Here I stand to pass on the cursed torch
[Kaito] nine sacrifices in her hands
[Miku] And the cycle’s completed once more
[Meiko] We are not the last
[Miku] With this flame I received from my dearest friends [IA] Anything to help you
[Miku] I will honor their lives [Miku/Rin/IA] And bring this to an end...

[Miku/Mayu] Now the morning bells mark the break of dawn
[Gakupo/Gumi] The sound of glory echoing…
[Mayu] ahh…
[Miku] The messiah who has [Miku/Mayu] taken on
[Gakupo/Gumi] all of God’s will
[Miku/Luka] stands there all by herself, and she laughs to the sky… [Miku] (laughs)
[Miku/Len] For the “blessings” were nine “sorrows” in disguise
And she raises her hands up toward the shrine...
