I woke up all alone, Mirabel might have gone early with her mother then something caught my eye. I stood up to see a same color of rose Bruno gave me with a letter which says:

Lamento nuevamente lo de anoche, no fue mi intención aceptar esto como una disculpa para ti.

"So this is what you said 'taking things slow'" I mumble but my face still flustered at his doings "Maldita sea, Bruno, ¿qué me hiciste? (Dammit Bruno, what did you ever do to me?)" I asked if only someone would answer me. I quickly change on my new clothes, the best ones Mirabel ever made me then I went out.

Also not the best time because Tio Bruno also came out of his room "¡Buenos dias cariño! (Good morning darling!)" Tio said from across the hallway, I shurugged and went on my way, even tho I indeed want to say that thing back to him 'We cant y/n, no, were listening to our mind not our heart' I thought as I came back to the flowers my grandmother's favorite ones.

Once I got there, I remembered Lola's words (That's translated grandmother in tagalog) the one she always told me "It's not good for a man to be alone" the words rang on my head "So if you ever fall in love my dear y/n, don't stop it go for it, reach it, like what I did with your Lolo" (Translated grandfather in Tagalog also) I always listened to Lola it's either bedtime stories, tales, myths and many more.

"Your here again?" I wish I could punch this man when I heard his voice "What do you want now?" I asked hiding my blushes "You to forgive me. I didn't mean it" I know he don't but I have nothing do but accept the fate what Lola said "I will forgive you, but you will still continue to court me. I don't do rush relationships" I warned him "I will mi amor" he said starting to flirt with me I guess.

"By the way, what did you say this flowers were again?" I asked being curios "It's called Higanbana, mostly said it's resemble is death" he explain "Wait, you sure, you want me to tell you this?" He asked being consern "My Lola always tell me stories even tho I'm big, so yea" I told him so he was aware, then he start explaining it to me. His voice is still what I think, nothing change except this situation, our situation.

"Tio Bruno" I called out "Call me bruno if we're alone" he gave permission "Bruno, can I tell you something?" I tried to keep my composure up "Anything mi amor" I smiled sadly knowing it's gonna be bad "I have a mental disorder" I open myself up "Your an abnormal?!" He was surprise "No no no, I'm diagnose in a mental disorder which is the ADHD" I told him "What's an ADHD?" He asked.

"The meaning of ADHD is Atention- Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder" now it's my turn to tell him about me "The only one who knows about this is Mirabel" I told I'm the truth "No one ever know?" "No one" he was surprise I hid a huge thing from the family for 11 months straight now "Can it be cured?" He asked I look down not wanting to tell him "It's a yes" he said.

Bruno hugged me as tears start to come out of my eyes "Cállate mi amor, todo va a estar bien. (Hush my love, everything is going to be fine)" he said while rubbing my back up and down "Gracias amor" he was touch when I called him that I guess because he hugged me tighter "No one's gonna see us here?" I asked "No, I guess since none of the villagers likes this flowers"

Maybe it was because it resembles death? "I see, that's really shameful, I guess" I said now wrapping my hands on his waist "Why are you here by the way?" I look at him "It's my Lola's favorite" I said "Lola?" I looked at him and realized he don't understand "Mi Abuela" i said as he understood.

"I'm a Filipino, that's why I call my Abuela 'Lola'" I said, he nod as he continue on explaining about the flower again. After minutes of talking about many things (ADHD can also cause you to change topics from time to time) Bruno realized that it's going to be lunch time soon "C'mon, we don't want to be late for lunch" he stood up and pulled me up.

"I never want to be late in lunch because of my past" I told him "It's ok to be late, also it's not but you don't need to look at every people or family that way mi amor" he said holding my hand "You're not gonna give up on courting me even tho it will take to long?" I asked looking down, he lift my chin making me look at him "Mi amor, oneday the one who's going to give up is you" he said kissing me on the cheek as my face turn into pinkish red.

He lead the way towards Casita and made our way to the dining area "Sorry were late, we did some important things" Bruno said while I saw Mirabel smiled knowing that she knows what's going on "it's ok Brunito, y/n take your seats and let's start" Abuela said. I saw Antonio gave me a small wink and the 'What happend' look 'Ugh, madrigals' I mentally slap myself.

"So y/n, where did you go?" Mirabel out of no where asked "No where, just in the field of Higanbana flowers" everyone looked at me like I did something wrong, which is I did "You what?" Tia Pepa asked "Do you even know what flowers are those?" Tio Austin added "But Isabela, she can also bloom a flower like that right?" I asked them "I do, and I have a small area in my room which I bloom it there" Isa told everyone.

Everyone turn silent, they didn't even also know that I completely hate the silent treatment but sometimes I do need it when I'm embarrass "Familia, continue eating. Y/n, whatever the reason why were you there I'm not stoping you, if it helps you" wow I never even heard Abuela said that, for the first time I never seen a familia unlike mine, maybe Bruno was right not all family are the same, your's is just different.
