ANNIKA BECKER didn't know one thing about sports, but she knew everything about hockey. She had a love for hockey ever since she was forced to watch her brother's hockey games when she was little and when she would watch him and their dad practice. It's true at first, she didn't want anything to do with any sport, including hockey, but after so long of being forced to watch it she grew to enjoy it.  Hockey is something she has in common with Mac Macbentley. It was no doubt that Mac was talented with hockey, and he used to be the best one on his team back in Canada. Annika and Mac have known each other since they were little. They used to be next door neighbors and it seemed like they were attached at the hip. Annika was best friends with his twin sister, Kayla, as well. 

Annika's parents and the twin's parents are friends so it only made sense that their kids would become friends as well. Annika was actually friends with Kayla first and then Kayla introduced her to Mac. Being best friends with the twins was difficult at times since she often got put in the middle when they would have arguments and she didn't want to pick sides because they both are her friends. But she wouldn't trade anything for the world because she loved being best friends with Mac and Kayla. Things changed for the trio when Annika and her parents had to move to England. Annika was ten when it happened and she was beyond upset she had to move to England because her mom got a new job promotion. Of course she was happy for her mom becoming the boss of the lawyer firm in England, but she was going to miss her best friends. Those four years being apart from her best friends felt like torture. She always made sure to keep in contact with them though, but it wasn't the same as to seeing them in person. When Mac got offered to join a prestigious hockey academy, he couldn't say no to that. After running into Annika a week after he and his family moved to England, he didn't realize how much he missed her until that moment.

Annika and Mac reconnect with each other, being inseparable again as if they never been apart. But when unfamiliar feelings surface between the two teens things start to get a bit complicated. Their feelings get so strong to the point where when Annika tries to stand but her knees become weak every time when Mac flashes that beautiful smile of his at her and when Mac tries to talk he stumbles over his words and his heart is beating so fast every time he gets close to her. They didn't realize it yet, but the two best friends are becoming head over heels for each other and soon they will realize that their heart is complete because of each other.

not a big fan of the moodboard of annika & mac, it was kinda hard to find a good icon of mika & a good icon of mac. but anyway, i love this show so much! its so sad thats its underrated bc its such a good show & deserves more hype!!
