We all walked back to the house and I was talking to Mina about the party tonight. It was going to be a concert of sorts in the sand. She said there was already a large stage and there was a DJ setting up already when we left.

"We're going to go swimming again before the party do you want to come with us?" Mina asked me, as she bounced on my arm.

"Oh no, I think I'll hang out here for a while." I said. "I want to talk to Mr. Aizawa about something anyway."

"Do you want me to stay with you?" Bakugo asked as he hugged me from behind.

"No, you go ahead and go swimming." I told him and hugged his arms. "Just come pick me up before the party."

"You sure?" He asked me, and hugged me a little tighter.

"I'm sure." I told him with a smile. Him and everyone else then ran up the stairs to change.

"So what do you want to talk about?" Mr. Aizawa asked he was in the kitchen. I walked over and leaned against the counter.

"Nothing actually." I told him. "I just don't want them to feel bad that I don't want to go swimming."

"Mina told me about what happened yesterday." He said. "She said he felt really bad about it."

"I'm sure he did, but he has no reason too." I said. "I understand he was just trying to get me to have fun, but my anxiety just couldn't handle it."

"I get that." Mr. Aizawa said and nodded. "But he still feels bad."

Before I could say anything I heard multiple feet making their way down the stairs.

"Bye, we'll see you later!" Denki said and they ran out the door. Bakugo ran up behind me, and kissed my cheek.

"I'll be back later to pick you up." He told me, before running after the rest of the group.

"Okay, be safe!" I called after them, and laughed as I leaned on the counter again. "Doesn't seem like he feels that bad." I laughed.

"But you don't see the way he looks at you." Mr. Aizawa told me, and I smiled. "You should have seen his reactions when you were sparring with Kirishima."

"Yeah he was excited to see you beat Kiri." Someone said, came into the room. I tapped my foot and could tell that it was Deku. "I don't think I've seen Kachan like that before."

"You two grew up together didn't you?" I asked Deku and he sat at the kitchens bar counter.

"Yeah, we've known each other since we were kids." Deku said. "I've never seen him act the way he does with you."

"And how's that?" I asked him.

"I don't know, he's just so . . . . gentle." Deku said.

"Mhm." I hummed thinking about how he chucked me into the ocean, and laughed to myself. But he did go in after me, after Mina told him I couldn't swim.

"I know you haven't known him long, but he really is different with you." Deku told me. "He really likes you. You made a great first impression."

"Are you kidding?" I laughed. "My first impression was trying to prove to him that I'm actually blind. And then getting hit in the back of the head by a frisbee." I rubbed my head as I remembered earlier this week when I got hit.

"You impressed him." Mr. Aizawa said. "That can be hard to do, but some how you did it."

"Well you didn't put up with his rudeness either." Deku said. "You heard his comment when you first joined class, and said something."

"What did he say?" Mr. Aizawa asked, and I could hear he was a bit mad. I laughed a little and remembered that.

"He asked how I got into the Hero Course." I said. "And I told him that my eyes don't work to well, but my ears are top notch."

"Well there you go." Mr. Aizawa said. "You're a kind hearted person, with aggression." I laughed, and put my head in my hand.

"I'm not that aggressive." I said, and Deku laughed.

"But you're aggressive when need be." Deku said. "Strong and powerful, with or without your quirk. And you're not afraid to show your dark side."

"My dark side?" I laughed even harder.

"When you're in a fight, you're not afraid to get down and dirty real quick." Deku said. "Today with Kirishima, you didn't back down. And the other day on the bridge."

"I think this aggressive side your talking about comes from my dad. Not exactly something I can say I'm proud to have." I said and turned my face away from them.

"And Kachan, I haven't seen him this nice to anyone before." Deku said and Aizawa chuckled. "Even before he became how he is now."

"It probably started out with feeling bad for me." I said and put my face in my hand. "Wouldn't be the first time people think I'm weak because I'm blind."

"You have no idea how he looks at you, do you?" Deku asked me.

"Well duh!" I laughed.

"You also don't know how he reacted when he didn't catch you on the bridge." Deku said, and I stopped laughing. "He was really hurt that he didn't grab you, and that he thought you were going to die." I was quiet as I thought about it. He hadn't known me for a full day yet, and was broken over me falling.

"Maybe at first, he thought you were weak. And it's obvious where people get the idea." Mr. Aizawa said. "But you made it into UA with a full scholarship. And you've definitely proven that you are not weak."

"You don't run away, if anything you run towards the problem." Deku said, and I laughed a little to myself.

"Yet, I've run away from my father." I said.

"That's different." Mr. Aizawa told me and put his hand on my shoulder. "That's not running away, that's freeing yourself." I thought about it for a minute, before sighing and walking out of the kitchen towards the stairs.

"Where are you going?" Deku asked me, as I made my way up the stairs.

"To face a problem." I said. Before I tripped on the steps. "God damn it."
