I sat down at a table by myself, and started eating my food.

"Hey?" I heard from behind me, and I turned around to see Kirishima along with some other people from class.

"Do you mind if we sit here?" The pink girl asked as she sat across from me.

"I'm not sitting in your guys spot am I? I can move." I said, and went to grab my lunch.

"Oh, no we wanted to sit with you." A blonde haired boy said.

"Oh." I said and put my lunch down. "I'm sorry, I'm not used to people being this nice to me."

"Don't get used to it." Another blonde boy said, his hair was lighter.

"Ignore him." The pink girl said. "Bakugo is rude to everyone."

"He's right though." Fear whispered in my ear, and I jumped again making me slam my knee into the table.

"Ow." I whispered to myself and rubbed my knee.

"My name is Mina." The pink girl said as she held her hand out to me, practically in my face. I took her hand and she started violently shaking my hand. "And this is Denki and Bakugo. And you've already met Kiri."

"Mina let go of her hand." Denki said, and she finally let go of my hand.

"I was just trying to help." She said, and I glanced over my shoulder. My fear disappeared.

"Well you did." I told her and she got happy.

"If you don't mind me asking." Kiri said, and I turned to him. "How exactly does . . . .?" He started to ask, but looked like he didn't know exactly how to word it.

"How does my schizophrenia work?" I asked for him, and he nodded. "Well when I see my emotions, they're not quite how an emotion would act."

"How do you mean?" Denki asked.

"For instance fear is probably my most felt emotion." I said. "Instead of being scared or fearful, it's more like a little devil. I see it as a girl, and she's kind of like a bad high school bully. She doesn't touch me, cause she can't, but she's constantly saying things to get me nervous and/or scared. That and when she shows up I get the feeling of nervousness or anxiety, it's usually pretty bearable though."

"Why is fear your most felt emotion?" Kiri asked.

"Well it's scary living with schizophrenia." I said. "Every day I wake up with no idea how my day is going to go, and at any moment my emotions can change drastically. Especially when you move to a new school, and straight up tell everyone you're a freak." 

"Nah you're not a freak." Mina said. "I think I'm more of a freak than you. I mean I'm pink." She said gesturing to herself, and I couldn't help but laugh a little.

"Oooooh this looks fun!" Someone said next to me and saw a light orange haired girl with freckles next to me. "Long time no see cutie." She winked at me and I smiled at her. My joy.

"What are you smiling at?" Denki asked.

"Oh, my joy showed up." I said. "I haven't seen her in a while." 

"Well tell her she should stick around for a while!" Mina said. 

"She can hear you." I said and laughed. I suddenly started crying.

"Oh no." Mina said. "So tell me about your favorite movie." Mina said, and I could tell she was panicking. I laughed some more.

"I'm okay Mina." I said. "It's just nobody's every treated me so normal before."

"Well then get used to it." Kiri said and wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

The bell rang and I walked out of class heading towards the dorms.

"Hey do you mind if I walk with you?" Kiri asked as he came up next to me.

"Not at all." I said. "So tell me about yourself. You've heard lots about me, but I don't know anything about any of you."

"Oh well my quirk is called hardening." He told me. "I can strengthen my skin." He held his hand up and showed me.

"Wow it's like you turn into a rock." I said as I touched his hand and looked at it.

"Aww, you're holding hands." My joy said as she randomly showed up floating above us. I pulled my hand away from Kiri and I felt my face warm up a bit.

"Yeah." Kiri said and changed his hand back to normal. "And then Denki can use electricity, Mina can use acid, and Bakugo causes explosions."

"Kind of fits his personality." I commented and that made my joy giggle.

"Yeah unfortunately." Kiri said. "But he's a good guy, he's got the right intentions. Just the wrong way of showing them."

"Well I wont judge him them." I said. "I can get like that too on a bad day." 

"Well if we can handle Bakugo, I'm sure we can handle whatever you throw at us." Kiri told me as we got to our dorms. "Say me and Denki are going to play games tonight in his room if you want to join us."

"Ugh." I sighed.

"You should do it." Joy told me, as she bounced up and down next to me. "Say yes! Say yes! Say yes!"

"We'll see." I told both him and my joy. "Depending on how I'm feeling later I might."

"Alright, well you're welcome any time." He told me and went to his room. I opened my room and closed the door behind me.

"Oh I'm so proud of you!" Joy said and she got all excited. "You did really good today! No break downs, you maintained your emotions well. And you were actually pretty relaxed."

"Okay, okay." I said stopping her. "Don't go jinxing it now, my day's not over yet."
