I sat in Gabby's room as I let her do my makeup. She had insisted on doing it, saying she could do it in five minutes. Which so far she wasn't lying.

"Hanta is going to go crazy over you." She told me, and I looked in the mirror as she applied blush to my cheeks, which really wasn't necessary at this point.

"Why is everyone so interested in me and Hanta getting together?" I asked her.

"What are you not interested in dating my brother?" She asked me. "Not that I could blame you if you weren't." I couldn't help but laugh.

"No, I'm interested." I said. "I just don't think he see's me like that."

"Why not?" She asked me and started brushing my hair and pulling it back into a very organized messy bun.

"I don't know." I said. "We haven't really hung out outside of class other than my dance lessons, and now. I'm surprised that he even brought me here."

"Well he talks about you all the time." She told me. "And not to spoil anything, but I think you got a pretty good chance." She whispered in my ear before heading for the door. "Now get dressed and meet us downstairs when you're done."

I smiled as she left the room and I started changing into the outfit she picked out for me. It was a pair of tight black jeans and f/c shirt that would hang off of my shoulders. After I changed, I took a look in the mirror and felt really good.

I carefully stepped down the stairs, as staying on my twisted ankle for too long made me want to fall on the ground. And it didn't help that Gabby put me in a pair of black heels. After I got halfway down the stairs, Hanta appeared at the bottom and was staring at me.

"What?" I asked him. "Did I mess up Gabby's makeup?"

"Huh?" He asked after taking a second to shake his head. "Oh no, you look great." He told me and walked up the stairs to meet me and help me down the rest of the steps. Once we got to the bottom I could see Gabby and Carlos laughing quietly in the corner.

"Oh you look so good in that color." Sero's mom said as she and Sero's father looked at us from the living room couch. "Okay you trouble makers you better be back by at least two in the morning." She told us as we started walking towards the door.

"And have fun!" Sero's father said. We all said we would and started walking down the street. Hanta held my hand as he and his siblings lead me down a couple streets and after we rounded a corner I could see the club.

We walked up towards the door, passing a large line of people, and the bouncer immediately let us all in.

"Guess you guys really are regulars." I said to Hanta and he laughed as he lead me into the club.

"Alright you two are on your own now." Gabby said as she walked away and Carlos was gone before she was.

"Yeah thanks." Sero called after them in the busy crowd. He shook his head as he wrapped his arm around my waist. "Do want to dance?"

"Of course." I told him, and smiled as he wrapped his arms around my waist and I did the same around his neck.

We started swaying, and moving our hips together to the beat of the music. I closed my eyes and for what felt like forever we were dancing. I listened as song after song, after song, played and we never stopped moving the whole time.

Finally I opened my eyes, and I looked up at Sero as he stood over me. I thought this morning was the closest we would ever dance. I was definitely wrong.

I could feel my face burning as I looked at the state we were in. Sero's knee was between my legs, and I was essentially dancing on his thigh. One of his hands was just below the bottom of my neck, and his other was was just above my ass. Our foreheads were touching, and god the look in his eye. I wanted to see more of it.

I ran my hand through his hair as we swayed, and his hair was practically soaked with sweat from us dancing for god knows how long.

Sero's hand that was on the back of my neck, creeped to the front and lightly held my throat as he made sure I couldn't look away from him. Our lips were only centimeters apart. I wanted to close the gap, and it would be so easy.

I started leaning in, as he moved farther away from me. Guess not as easy as I thought.

"Do you want to get something to drink?" He asked me. I closed my mouth, and I could feel that my throat was dry from breathing heavy.

"Yeah." I said, and he stepped away from me a bit before grabbing my hand. He lead me towards the bar.

He got us some water's and handed one to me. I practically chugged the whole cup, and so did Sero. Who knew how long we were dancing, that made us this thirsty.

"Well hello pretty lady." Someone said behind me, and I expected Carlos to be standing behind me when I turned around, but instead it was a boy, who looked really familiar. He looked maybe a little older than me and Sero. But I couldn't place where I've seen him. "Why don't you ditch this kid, and come hang out with a man? And let me buy you a real drink?"

Before I could say anything, I felt an arm wrap around my waist and got pulled away from the guy.

"The fuck are you doing here Tony?" Sero asked him, and Sero held me close to his body.

"Oh you know, living life." The boy, who's name was Tony, answered.

"Then stop." Sero told him. I had never heard him say something like this before. And when I looked up at Sero, I had never seen him this angry. Even when he had gotten in that argument with Maria, this was a whole new level of pissed.

"Oh don't be like that." Tony told him. "Just because we're dance rivals, doesn't mean we can't be friends." Dance rivals?

"No, but you being an absolute dick, does." Sero told him. "Not interested in your friendship, so fuck off."

"You might not be interested in my friendship, but what about you my dear?" Tony asked me and took my hand and kissed my knuckles. Sero's grip on my waist tightened, and I gently ripped my hand away.

"Thank you, but no thank you." I told him.

"Well, for you my dear. The offer will remain open." He said and leaned in to my ear. "But only for a certain amount of time." He whispered to me, before walking away.

"Sero you're hurting me." I told him gently, and Sero's grip on my waist immediately loosened.

"I'm sorry." He said, and I turned around to face him. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." I told him. "Who was that?"

"He's my biggest rival in the dance competition." Sero told me. "He also goes to UA, he's a total dickhead."

"Ah." I sighed, and couldn't help but be amused at how irritated Sero was. He looked at me, and looked down at my lips. I smiled, and he relaxed. I took another drink of my water before leaning in a little closer to him. "Hey where are the bathrooms?" I asked in his ear. He pointed over in a direction, and I handed him my cup.

"Watch for Tony, please." Sero said to me, and I nodded before walking away. I carefully made my way towards the bathrooms.
