3rd Person POV

After reading the letter, she had tears in her eyes, but her grandmother gave her the present and she opens it. It was a teddy bear! She hugged it until she couldn't any longer. "Hannah, here is a bag filled with a blanket, water, an umbrella, a jacket, and money. This won't last forever, but for a while it will do." Amazed on how her dad and grandmother planned this, it was time to go. Before she did though, she ate, used the bathroom, and got her cuts cleaned. "Oh, and here is a hair brush, just in case." It was sad for both of them, but Hannah couldn't stay here, so she got ready, and luckily it was mid spring, so it wasn't bad outside. She didn't know where she was going, but somewhere far from here. They were at the door for one last goodbye, "Bye grandma Shelly, I love you." Hannah did not have tears in her eyes, because she felt this feeling before, first her mother, then her father, and now her grandmother. "I love you, too, and remember as your father said, 'Stay strong', you will find another family in no time." One more hug, and Hannah was off, running until she got tired. Not really knowing what to do, she went to find somewhere to sleep. She walked through town, realizing that a lot of things have changed. She lived in a small town, in Alaska, an hour away from Canada. (Just saying The Pals live together.) She wasn't ready to leave her home town, so she found an abandoned shack, so Hannah decided to call this home for now, she opens the door to see a dark place, is was cold, too. Across the road was a gas station, so Hannah walked across the street hoping there were flash lights. Luckily there were, not big ones, but they were bright. She brought the money she have gotten, and the flashlights were two dollars, she payed for one, and left, going back to her shed. Hannah lauded out the blanket and used her jacket for a pillow, it was not badly uncomfortable, so she can make it through the night.
