"Bianca wake up! Breakfast is ready!" My father called, and I woke up trying to wake up from the sleepiness. I headed downstairs to see my dad making delicious pancake art and said good morning to him. The art was cute cartoon characters in black food coloring. I ate the pancake while my dad was rummaging through his bag looking for his wallet.

"Hey dad?" I asked while eating my pancake. My dad looks up at me, "Yes sweetie?" "Hey um remember that you said about being able to have some fun time with me like father and daughter day?" I asked looking at him nervously, "Are you going to be busy for tomorrow?" My father looked at me and smiled, "Oh it will depend on when my boss is gonna call, but I'm sure maybe, just maybe we will hang out later, now finish your pancake so I can take you to the park for a bit later."

I finished like my dad told me to, gotten changed, then head in the car while he drove us to the park. The park was fun like always with its nice clean water rivers splashing by frogs hopping onto lily pads, gooses honking with the flock, bees collecting pollen from a row of beautiful flowers in a flower garden, and kids playing on the playground while me on a swing. I laughed as I was swinging up and down while my dad watched me, happy while sitting on a bench reading a book.

Soon after we finished playing in the park or well I did, my dad and I went to eat in a Chinese restaurant, my dad had chicken soup while I had chicken noodles, we also shared some pork chop dumplings along with some tea.

We then left the restaurant and headed to Cold Stone's Ice cream shop to buy ice cream. I have a cookies and creme ice cream on a cone with sprinkles on it while my dad decided to have a watermelon ice cream in a cone since he is on a diet.

We sat on the out side porch near the water fountain and ate our ice cream without getting a brain freeze.

Soon we went home, said good night to each other and slept peacefully.

Next Morning....

I woke up today and headed downstairs as fast to see what dad was making for breakfast, but as I got to the kitchen, he wasn't here in the kitchen. Then I decided to call him and headed upstairs and found him in his room wearing his business clothes.

"Dad. . ." I said. My dad looked up and saw me with a sad look on his face, I could tell something was wrong with his. "Is something wrong? Do you want me to help you?" I asked sitting next to him on his bed. "Oh Bianca, I'm afraid I have bad news," my dad sadly say, "I'm just very worried about you."

"Worried about me? I don't understand what you're saying," I say reluctantly trying to find out why he is so nervous. "Well, when you went to bed, I got a call from my boss. I am going to be gone for a few weeks," my dad said and hid his face to his eyes like he was gonna cry. I was surprised and sad, I couldn't believe that he told me that he was going to be gone for a few weeks.

He then got up and went out of his bedroom getting his suitcase and packing things in it.

*Later*

I heard a knock on the door, and I went to open it seeing was a guy who was gonna pick up dad. "Hi Bianca," he said, and I said hi back. "Can you see if your father is here? We have a long business trip to go to." 

"Oh yeah let me call him," I said as I went to call dad. My father went downstairs with his suitcases packed and fully dressed. 

As the man got in the car starting it up, my dad and I hugged each other for the last time we see each. "I have to go now Bianca," my dad said with tears in his eyes and he sniffled wiping the tears off him, "Promise me that you will try to do something new for the rest of your life?" I looked at him, smiled and said, "I will."

My dad kissed me goodbye on the forehead, then got in the car. I waved goodbye until I couldn't see him in the car anymore.

I was getting boring so I decided to play a video game on my computer.

*One Hour Later*

Feeling my belly growling, I was hungry so I went to the fridge and make me some macaroni and cheese in a cup. I got this from a cooking hack. If you put macaroni in water and set it for 5 minutes, the macaroni gets squishy, then add some milk and put in the microwave to heat the milk and then add cheese then mix it until the cheese melts and becomes gooey.

After finishing my dinner, I went upstairs to my dad's bedroom. His room was nice, with a big bed, a vanity, two soft chairs, a round small table, the bookshelf, and his closet and the smell of minty bark wood he bought to make it smell galore. There was a big metal box with a yellow lock. The key had to be somewhere and my dad didn't want me to find it. Then there was a picture on the night table of him and a girl. That was my mom that my dad told me. However I didn't see her when I grew up. She was there when I was a baby and she was always a beautiful mother. The photo made me remember her.

I looked at my dad's works of cartoons on the vanity. He works as a cartoonist, he makes cartoons on a show called Bendy. I know the characters are Bendy the dancing demon, Boris the wolf, Alice Angel, the Butcher gang, and a special new character Dollie Dearest. The reason why he choose it is because he wanted to make a doll as the kind and gentle doll. He works with Joey Drew Studios and every day he comes home and to tell me how he felt working in the workshop. But however the workshop was closed. I usually visit him, but never gone inside because I wouldn't want to distract his work.

I sighed and then sat down on dad's nice chair when something pointy got in my way. I jumped then looked under the cushion to see it was a yellow key. It was similar to the yellow lock so I took the key and used it to unlock the metal box. Soon it was unlocked and I opened the box to see a letter for my dad and there were some cartoon drawings. I ignored the cartoon drawings because my eyes were focus on the letter

Dear Tony...

Hey how are you? It's been so long since we made cartoons together. I wanted to tell you that there was something I need to show at the old workshop. It is something that I wanted to let you come to see it and try to fix it, but I noticed you have four daughters right? That's okay, I decided to let Henry do it instead. It was okay to write the letter for you and make sure you take your children.

Something in workshop made me not believe it. It's been 30 years since I visited. Just then I rephrase on what my dad said, "Promise me that you will try something new for the rest of your life." This was my new adventure, to explore what Joey wants in the workshop. So I decided that I will go to the workshop and find his secret and then leave. I changed into a teal long sleeve shirt over a pink hoodie jacket, and pink shorts wearing my pale pink boots I still have a moon pin on my hair and wore my glasses. I packed some snacks in case I get hungry, my phone, phone charger, earbuds, and bandages in my pink backpack. As soon I was ready. I headed out my house before locking it, and then headed my way to the workshop.

*10 minutes*

I finally reached to the workshop and looked at it. It was a long day since I seen. "Bianca?" A male voice said behind and I turn around to see Henry. He was a friend of my dad and was also a person who draw cartoons.

"Henry," I said back, "What are you doing here?" Henry spoke. "Well you see," I spoke, "My dad hid this letter from me so he wouldn't let me see it. And I realized that there was something in the workshop that Joey wanted my dad to see, I have proof with the letter." I gave him the letter to let him read it. "Hm strange," Henry said looking at the letter, and lifted his head up to me, "Where's your father?" "He's not here, he went on a business trip because his boss called him," I answered not looking at Henry, "He is going to be gone for a week or more, I can't really tell."

"Oh well okay," Henry said, "I'm sorry this has happen to you. I was going to go in the workshop alone, but if you like, do you wanna come with me?" I looked at him, "Really you mean it?" "Yeah," he replied, "I wouldn't want you to be waiting outside all day."

I looked back and then smiled bravely and said, "Yes I'll come with you."

Henry smiled and soon me and him entered the workshop.
