We meet up on Tuesday. "Alright guys lets gather around!" Coach yells. "We are going up against a great team from last year and did great last week. We have to be calm before the storm!" We all get ready for practice. "Hike!" Connor hikes the ball and i go out for a pass since its a short pass. He throws the ball to me and i catch it but fall injuring my finger. I try and tough it out but cant. I watch as the last 30 minutes of practice and see our back up fumble 4/5 of the runs. We head home and i ice my finger. Wednesday comes and my fingers 93% better and am able to play. Connor hikes the ball he hands me the ball and i run it for 57 yards. "Hike!" Connor hikes it and passes the ball to jake for 30 yards. "LETS GO!...LETS GO BUDDY!" Connor yells. Wednesday runs by fast. Thursday comes and its the game day.
