POWER OR LOVE?

Power is a necessary component of life. It gains a person the ability to wield force, authority, and influence. It came with authority and control, and a belief in the form of supremacy over others. Power is the measure of a person's ability to control the environment around them, even including the behaviour of other people and those who are altered must recognise the dominance of the ways and accept it. 

That was what she was taught to believe. 

She was told to ignore the notions of love, that it was a fickle thing and ultimately got in the way within that of the component of power. She was told to ignore the feelings of passion and an intense longing for someone. She was told to ignore how love is the connection between souls, how it is the most secure yet most dreadful thing to have. She wasn't told that love is not tangible, that when you find true love, it feels like being in a dream. 

Power seemed to be much greater than that of love.

Oh, but love.
