It was now the afternoon and Carlos and Alyssa were watching 'Turning Red" Ali looked at Carlos when she saw a few things she didn't recognize. "That's what you had 20 years ago?" she smirked as Carlos facepalmed. "Ali, it was....actually, yeah it was 20 years ago."

"You're so old." Alyssa whispered quietly, but Carlos heard her just fine. Carlos gaped and picked her up by her armpits. "Excuse me, missy." he said as he rubbed his thumb under her armpits. Alyssa laughed at the ticklish feeling. "CAHAHAHAHAHAHAHARLOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOS STAHAHAHAHAP IHIHIHIHIT!" Ali pleaded as she tried to get out of his grasp. Carlos wasn't having it and he lifted her shirt just a little bit and blew a short raspberry on her tummy. This caused Ali's laughter to go up and octave. "AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA IHIHIHIHIHIHI'M SOHOHOHOHOHOHORYEHEHEHEHEHEHE!"

"You mean it?"

"YEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHES!" Carlos let go of Alyssa and placed her upside down on the floor, her head holding her up. "Carlos, this feels weird."

"Never should've called me old." Carlos smirked as Alyssa frowned and continued to watch the movie in her current state.

Carlos felt a vibration in his back pocket and pulled out his phone. "I'll be right back Ali." he told the little girl as she replied. "Okay." Carlos walked into the kitchen and answered the phone. "Hello?"

"How's it going baby bro?" the other line said. It was Carlos's brother Ian. He would call him from time to time to check up on him because he lived so far away. Carlos heard that he finally got out of that old apartment of his and moved back to Delaware with Lucy. He remember his late wife Jenny who died during child birth. How his brother was lost for a long time. Everyone gave up on him. Even he did. He felt guilty about leaving him in New York so after almost 15 years, he decided to come and visit him again. When he came, he saw his brother, Lucy, and a teenager that looked exactly like his brother's late wife.

Ian crashed into him with a hug and Carlos returned it, with a lot of questions of his own. Ian explained how by some miracle that Lily was his daughter and that she was alive. After that, he and Lucy married in secret so they never had a wedding. Carlos was still a little pissed off that his brother wouldn't tell him but he was glad he got to meet his other family.

Carlos rolled his eyes. "Don't call me that." he heard his brother laugh. "Just calling to check on yeah. How's it going in the woods?"

"It's fine. The foxes aren't bothering me so much anymore. Actually, I kinda need your help with something." Carlos explained to his brother how he found Alyssa in the middle of the night and how she stayed with him. How he hoped to bring her back to her family but realized that she was an orphan. And how that her old home was filled with nothing but alcohol and drugs.

When he finished, Ian groaned. "I swear, people don't know how to be good parents these days. How is she? The kid?" he asked as Carlos put him on facetime and showed him Alyssa watching 'Turning Red'. "Oh that movie. Lily loved it. Can't get enough of that red panda changing thing."

"So, I know this is sudden, but I really do need you help."

"Say no more baby bro. Your big brother is on the case!"
