Personality
Kanna may look dull, but she's just really an emotionless and depress girl (or ghoul). She used to be a happy and cheerful girl and would always look up to Kaneki, her older brother before she went to prison for "murdering" someone. She would always get excited about the topic of anime or tea. Kanna would always be enjoying the presence of Cell 13.
Whenever her bloodlust hunger kicks in, Kanna would be out of control with a painful feeling in her chest, craving for organisms. Often times, Kanna would have tears within her eyes and incurably insane. Kanna wouldn't even realize what she has done after calming down.

Powers and Abilities
Superhuman Strength
Kanna often likes to punch on walls, or carry huge objects at random times (for punching on walls, is when she's angry). She would use this skill on a lot of her opponents.

Superhuman Speed
Kanna can use this skill to easily distract or make her opponent off guard to get attack.

Swordsmanship
Besides fighting hand to hand, Kanna has good swordsmanship, since her weapon is a katana (which is early seen to a lot of people).

Ukaku Kagune
Kanna's kagune are not the same as Kaneki. Kanna's kagune are very similar to Touka's. Kanna's wings are actually water, but strong. Kanna now hardly ever use her kagune.

Backstory
Kanna grew up in a normal life, though she would usually have an eyepatch on her right eye. Getting good grades in school and hanging out with Kaneki and her mother. Though it sometimes terrified that Kaneki would be abused by their mother, thinking that it was unfair for him and her. One day at the age of 13, Kanna felt hungry for organisms and went out without her family knowing. When she saw a person, Kanna just started eating their organisms out of them. Realizing what she has done, she quickly discourses all evidence of the scene. Telling Kaneki about the situation she was in, Kaneki told her the whole story. It turns out when Kanna was 3 years old (Kaneki was 12 at the time), Kanna was attacked by a ghoul and was taken to the Kanou General Hospital. Since Kaneki didn't know how to control her hunger, he would let her go out for organisms if she wanted but for a limited time. Though over time, Kanna started to go out less and just drank water only.
After when Kaneki became a one-eye ghoul like Kanna, it was hard for the both of them until they met Touka. They both were happy, but both of them still didn't want to eat human organisms. After finding out they can drink coffee, Kanna stills denied because she didn't like coffee and was too young. Yoshimura, who noticed the situation decided to give her some tea instead, which made Kanna calm down. After a while, Kaneki and Kanna started to work at Anteiku.
When Kaneki turned white after being tortured by Yamori, they both were forced to leave one another behind, Kaneki was to leave, meaning that he was going to leave Kanna. As much as Kanna didn't want him, she has to do what Kaneki says. After he left, Kanna was left in Touka's hands and care.
After almost two years later, Kaneki (who was how Haise Sasaki, but she didn't like the name) and Kanna were reunited once more. But not long after the reunite with her brother, Kanna was sent to jail after being seen "murdering" someone. Kanna was used as a test subject and would always break out of jail for that. After being sent to Nanba Prison, she became emotionless and would always be away from other since she wasn't familiar with the prisoners. Luckily, the prison let her call Kaneki whenever she wants since they noticed how uncomfortable she is with other prisoners. When Kanna informed where she is to Kaneki and Touka, they started informing and sending the prison the tea that always calms down herself and hunger. Kaneki (sometimes with Touka) would visit Kanna once or twist a month to see how she's doing. Currently, she made some friends with Cell 13 and becomes a bit more social with other prisoners.

Relationships
Nico
Nico is who she first met one of the prisons she went to. They would always talk about their life and some random things until Nico broke out. They haven't seen each other since before they met again in Nanba Prison. They started to talk again as each of them slowly to have feelings for each other. Once they confessed, they were literally be seen together all the time (expect when Kanna gets a call or visits from Kaneki).

Kaneki Ken
Kaneki is Kanna's older brother and whom she looks up to a lot and trust the most. They were inseparable until Kaneki leaves which leaves Kanna with Touka. After being reunited, they spend a lot of their time together until Kanna was taken to jail. When that happened, Kaneki was heartbroken and had a mental breakdown. After finding out where she was, he's started to visit as much as he can.

Touka Kirishima
Touka was a big sister to Kanna, even though Kanna didn't really see it. Touka was also Kanna's caretaker after Kaneki left.

Rock
Kanna sees Rock as a marshmallow. Whenever there are treatments that Nico goes that can't have Kanna in there for, she would talk to Rock. Kanna would alway say that Rock was a marshmallow.

Seitarou Tanabata
Seitarou has a crush on Kanna, even though he knows Nico and Kanna are together. Kanna would always pinches his cheeks wither sometimes for fun or when he tries to tease her, which makes her pissed off.

Samon Gokuu
Samon would always be amazed by Kanna's strength. He would literally ask Kanna to come to his building everyday to train with him. Most days, Kanna just rather do nothing and read or be with Nico than training.

Hajime Sugoroku
To Kanna, some guards, and other prisoners of building 13, Hajime is the only one being a soft and trustful one to Kanna, which surprises almost everyone including Kanna.

Momoko Hyakushiki
Momoko would often ask Kanna to come to her office (with Hajime since he has to bring her), just to have a little girl chat with tea and sweets sometimes. Kanna would often be comfortable with her since it felt awkward with just being with guys.

Uta
Like Samon, Uta was amazed (but doesn't show). Uta seems to be more comfortable with Kanna more than Nico. Kanna would sometimes help Uta with his cat .

Liang
Liang would usually ask for advice for training whenever Kanna was there to train. Kanna would usually give the same (and boring-sounding) tip which Liang doesn't mind. He always want to be closer to Kanna but sometimes Kanna would be creeped out that she ends up in the corner.

Shuu Tsukiyama
Kanna disrespects Shuu greatly. Kanna would always hated it whenever Shuu becomes obsessed with Kaneki (knowing how much Kaneki can get uncomfortable). Kanna would always shot a death aura or stare at him. Kanna also believes that Shuu is gay (even though Shuu is dating Kanako).

Yoshimura
Kanna is comfortable sharing her feelings and thoughts to Yoshimura besides Kaneki. She would always look him up like a father (since she never knew her father).

Hinami Fueguchi
Kanna and Hinami are (and possibly still is) best friends. They would always hangout and talk about random stuff together. Sometimes Kanna would get surprising visits from Hinami during her time in Nanba Prsion. Kanna suspects that Kaneki told her where Kanna was.
