Appearance
Nadine has this golden tan skin tone that pops in the dimmer light. Her dark brown hair is short, between her chin and neck, and is relatively straight. She does not normally do much other than comb it... Mainly because there is not much to do with short hair. She has a bright smile that somehow seem to make her brown eyes a little less dark. Nadine not much for makeup but from time to time she might add a little blush or foundation, but mainly she'll just add some lip gloss and mascara everyday. Nadine is about average height (5'4) and weight.

Personality
Nadine can seem like she is intense but in reality she's really just an social bean. She loves to be in big groups and get to know other individuals. Nadine is VERY touchy feely person and seem almost to be attach to a person 24/7. The whole, 'personal bubble' does not exist to her and she never seems to understand that people need space. The reason why Nadine can be intense is because she tends to make situations more dramatic then they need to be. She also seem to make a big deal or something small, and will hold a grudge until she feels like it.

Nadine is an innocent teenager and can have childish views in certain situations if she does not fully understand. Her family has sheltered her from certain topics, wanting her to remain innocent for as long as possible. She struggles with understanding sarcasm especially if it contains a metaphor.

Nadine may not be the big brain of the operation, but she is willing to put in the work to understand. She lives for trying new things and turns into a bright ray of sunshine when she finally masters something. Nadine will practice day and night until she is able to complete the task/thing. Nadine can become super competitive in games and that's when her determination really shows.

Nadine can become pissed very easily if someone dared triggered her. She does not have many things that trigger her and that's when Ms. Sunshine can turn dark. As previously stated, she is dramatic and the things that piss her off are not that big of a deal. "So what if they called you Ms. Sunshine?" while she stated she hated nicknames so of course she's going to snap at the person.

Backstory

Nadine's mother divorced her dad when she was only 5 years old. Both took one kid and disappeared from each others lives. Nadine had lived in Filipino at the time before Nadine's step-father, Aryan, showed up and they moved to India when she was 6 years old. Nadine's mother did not carry many family portraits around, much less talk about her father and twin, and soon she started to forget. She never stayed up to-date-with them and soon they became a distant memory. Nadine would never say that her step-father was much more fun than her real father, but she did enjoy being around him. He was a controlling, in a way: schedules, what to read/watch, but he did gave her other fun things to do instead.

Nadine was home schooled with her new cousins by her step-father's mother. (They all lived in the same apartment building). She was limited on how much she could go outside because of how dangerous the outside world could be. The only interaction she got was from her new family, which was unfair and awkward at first. Nadine learned to accept the change after a few months but does find them to be very loud when the WHOLE family comes together for the holidays (Indian holidays).

Nadine had found out about the program while she was walking around with her step-cousin, Sai. Sai, was the only one allowed to go to school (no fair) because he was such a smart cookie. He told her about the program but he did not want to join because it was not what he was interested in, but suggested she apply for it. Agreeing, the two filled in Nadine's information but kept all his grades (and stuff) on it. (This is probably illegal but so what). Nadine was so happy when they accepted her, was slightly guilty that she was not actually Sai smart like the program was going to think she was, and the two celebrated the day before she had to leave. Her mother and step-father are going (future because they don't know yet) to be furious once Sai tells them the truth but she already getting on the plane to Hong Kong.

Two bracelets, one on each wrist, that can turn into two Mockingbird battle staves (I'm not making it up. It's two metal rods, but that's what it's called lol). She can put the two battle staves together to create a staff, if she wants to.

Strengths

Determination is my friend, and can be yours too! Nadine allows her determination to drive everything she does. Whenever she is struggling, you can see her face lost in thought as she tries to figure out what to do next. She is always open for some advice and help. (she's all about being a 'superhero' so that drives her too)

Ha... I told you I could do it! Nadine has learned a lot of self-defense moves from her step-father (seeing as how he was a cop back in the Philippines). She is all about physical trying and is ready to drop kick, body slam, and elbow smack someone.

Weaknesses

Stop calling me a puppy! Nadine is a sociable teenager that just has to be around others, whether they be complete strangers or friends. Whenever she is alone, she feels confused and lost. This can make her incredibly vulnerable if she does not know where the heck she is.

I.. uh.. stop you are confusing me! Seeing as how Nadine was sheltered for most of her life, certain topics can be confusing. This can make her oblivious and even naïve. While she is not out right stupid/gullible, if worded correctly people can manipulate her easily.
