History: Ever since Maeve was a child she knew she wanted to be a Valkyrie. It was considered an honor to be admitted into Odin's personal army. She would spend hours outside the training grounds, watching as the Valkyrie mastered a variety of weapons and combat. Her mother and father both pushed her to do the best she could do that one day she could achieve her dreams.

Maeve did everything she could to make sure that when she applied for Odin's army, she would get in. She threw herself in her education and training with a variety of weapons. Years and years passed before she felt as if she knew enough to finally try and join the all-female army.

She was accepted into the ranks of the Valkyries and she loved every second of her time with them. She learned more than she ever thought possible and made many good friends, many of which she considered her family.

All was well until Odin and Frigga's eldest child went on a killing spree. The majority of her sisters were slain on the battlefield. Maeve was one of the few survivors. She and the remaining soldiers looked to Odin for guidance, but found that their king only wished to cover up the true story. No one would remember how bravely she and the other Valkyrie fought and how so many lost their lives.

Betrayed, Maeve left Asgard and vowed to never return. She journeyed to Midgard and has been there ever since.
