Kongo along with other 8 where created by Dr. Eggman along with three associates, Animo, Argost, and Servantis. After they were created, they were given special chips in their brains to be made dangerous and more coordinating but cause them to be more intelligent and personalities, turning on their creator. Kongo rely on his intellect rather them brute strength, easily out smarting Cinos using his machine skills. Kongo fought Cinos indirectly countless time but after War to Take Back the Planet, he and his brothers stop fighting. He try to become a world renounce as he hope to get an reward so other would recognize his intelligent.

● Kongo The Spider-Monkey got his name as "Kongo" is a combination of Kong like in King Kong or Donkey Kong who are similar to gorillas and Congo as in a rainforest gorillas love, it also named of a Bantu ethic group, Spider-Monkey is named after a species of monkeys along with the name of three Arachnichimp however it style after the famous Marvel character Spider-Man.
