Bryce's POV
Me and Alex ran. The pack was sleeping after our search for a new home. I couldn't take the responsibility and Alex didn't want me to be alone in such a big world. As we dashed into a large cave far away from the pack, we stopped. Alex and I sat down.
"So..." Alex panted. "What are we going to do?"
I sighed. "Wait it out till it's time to leave. (hey BMC fans) In the mornin"
Alex nodded.
     I laid against the wall of the cave and looked at Alex. He was sitting crisscross and looking down at his lap. He looked cute in the small amount of moonlight. I've had a huge crush on my beta for such a long time but never had the courage to tell him. I never had a mate.
     I had a condition where other wolves would think I'm their mate but I wouldn't think I'm theirs. I got up.
"I-I'm gonna start a fire. Be right back."
     Alex nodded but didn't look up. I jogged out of the cave.

Sorry this took so long. I'm on Thanksgiving break so hopefully I'll have more time to update. I'll be fixing the previous chapters so... yeah!!
