Bryce's POV
I carried Violet down the stairs. she was sleeping. I saw Avery standing in the doorway of the "mating room". She was a substitute mate. If I didn't find my mate she would be forced to mate with me. But she was standing there in her undergarments. But I didn't care I looked down the hall and to the kitchen. We needed to eat. Avery started to follow me.
"What's that thing in your arms?"
"None of your business" i said.
She walked away.  I heard Violet starting to wake up. I walked over to the table and sat her in a comfy chair next to mine. Then I went into the kitchen to make some breakfast.
