(Frisk POV)

I refused to let Chara have me again. The pain was unbearable, but I was determined. I used what little control I had to scream.

"SANS! PAPYRUS! (Y/N)!! HELP!!!" (Yes I am changing the blanks to (y/n) for the sake of it being easier to do) I yelled. I was still forcing Chara back.

"Are you STILL refusing!? You will give in at some point you know Frisk!" She said. I heard running as Sans turned the corner.

"K-kid!" He yelled.

(Sans POV)

All I saw was Frisk doubled over, obviously struggling with something. They looked at me, fear in their now opened blue eyes. I saw them flicker red.

"Chara!! Get out of Frisk!" I yelled. I was honestly scared for the kid. Papyrus and (y/n) turned the corner.

"O-oh my god! Frisk!" Papyrus said. I looked back at Frisk after (y/n) ran up to me. She had a look of determination and confidence.

"Sans? Whatever I do now, don't stop me!" She said. I nodded and stepped back. Whatever she was gonna do, I wasn't looking forward to it.

((Y/n) POV)

"Frisk, listen to me. You need more power to fight off whatever this thing is. Take my hand, and don't let go," you said. Frisk grabbed your hand, and you took a tight grip on it to make sure they wouldn't let go.

A magical red and (f/c) aura surrounded the two of you, the brightness and radiation enough to melt some of the snow on the ground below.

"(Y-y/n)?" Frisk said. You looked at them, the aura lifting you up off the ground.

"Yes, Frisk?" You said.

"If we don't make it...if Chara does take me over again...make sure to kill me. Know that I'm sorry. And know that I always thought of you as one of my best friends, (y/n)," they said. You teared up a little.

"I'll make sure that Chara doesn't get you, Frisk. I promise," you said.

"T-thank you, (y/n)," they said. They hugged me and you hugged back. You could feel the spirit of Chara leaving them. The child floated just outside of the aura. You saw Sans had used a translucent Gaster Blaster to seal him and Papyrus in safety. You realized then that to keep Chara away, you needed love. Not LOVE, but love, if that makes sense.
