(Sans POV)

I just saw (y/n) and frisk together hugging Chara. Whatever happened, it seemed to work. I mean, she wasn't attacking them. My blaster faded due to sheer exhaustion. I fell over, and fell asleep.

((Y/n) POV)

You heard a thud behind you. You looked to see Papyrus arguing with a sleeping Sans, the Gaster Blaster was gone.

"Heh, figures...anyways, Chara? You ready to make friends now?" You ask. Chara looked at you, fiddling with her golden locket. She opened it to see her family portrait. She smiled.

"Yea..I'm ready," she said. You took her hand, but Frisk stopped you. They took Chara's hand instead. You didn't think much of it, thinking that they only did that cause if Chara did anything they could just reset.

"Sansy? Cmon, get up. I got a new friend for you!" You said. Sans was still sleeping. You sighed and picked him up like he was a feather.

"Okay, let's go sleepy skull..." You said. Chara giggled.

(Chara POV)

I laughed...I haven't laughed like that in so long! It felt great! I was feeling again! It was amazing. I looked back to my soul. The green was still there, but the crack was slowly healing. I smiled.

"Chara?" Frisk said. I looked at them.

"Yea?"

"I...I forgive you," they said.

"For wha-.....oh, right...my bad..." I said. I was a little nervous.

"H-honestly, Frisk. I only did that, not to kill, but to be with you! I thought of I hung around you long enough, you'd help me change. But I was so caught up in my power that I...I...killed everyone instead..." I said. Frisk wrapped their arm around me. My cheeks were crimson.

"It's okay," they said, "now we can be together forever!" They said. I smiled wide.

"T-thank you Frisk!" I said.
