Appearance: A long snake creature with bits of hair and fluff. They usually have horns on their head and spikes down their back. They also usually have an ember on the end of their tail. Pointy ears on either the top of the head or the side, they can have tufts if hair on the end. The longer horns they have, the more old and powerful they are. Female horned vipers have smaller horns and spikes than males. Male horned vipers have larger horns, spikes, and bodies than females.

Beliefs: They are pretty intelligent but they do not believe in a god or gods. They worship the leader of their clan or tribe. They believe that wicked horned vipers need their horns cut off and need to be exiled.

Abilities: They are elemental creatures and have powers depending on the element. They use their horns to fight like deer.

Habitats: Anywhere but they mostly are in forests or rainforests.

Markings: Horned Vipers have varieties of markings. They mostly have stripes but some of them have spots and some of them have no markings.

Colors: They can be any color under the sun. Their scales are not bright colors though, the colors are a bit muted. Their mouths and tongues can be any color and are usually the same color as their eyes.

History: The Horned Vipers have been known to be vicious creatures that live in clans or tribes and fight to the death. This is only partially correct however, because some of them aren't that way.

Personalities: Varied, but most of them are a bit impatient and rude.

Intelligence: They are very intelligent creatures that make tools and paint. Some of them are talented artists. They also make jewelry and clothing.

Other: I might make these a semi-Open species. Depends on how popular they are. Also, their spines rose up when frightened or angry. You can use a horned viper in my Role play titled, "The Last of Us."

Age: This species ages like humans and they can live over 1,000 years, though this is not likely because they have a predator called the Spiracts. (I haven't designed them yet but I'll get to it soon.)

Elements: Horned vipers are elemental creatures that can have up to two elements and three powers based on these elements. (Powers and elements are in a list located in my Role play titled "The Last of Us" if you're interested.)

Diet: Rodents, lizards, birds, and bird eggs.

Heath: Horned Vipers are typically healthy although they can get sick from eating anything poisoned or harmful. If hey get extremely cold, they will die. Their blood will freeze. They can normally withstand hot temperatures but burning temperatures will kill them unless they are a/part fire horned viper with the ability firebody or if they are fireproof.

3. Males have to be larger than females.
4. No more than two elements.
5. No more than three powers.
6. Don't share this species all over the place. I don't want them to become super popular.
7. Don't take credit for the creation of the species.
8. If you do post art of this species, you must tag me in it and give me credit for the species creation.
9. If any of these rules are broken multiple times, I will make this a closed species.
