I woke up in Gothi's hut. I sat up. I looked at my side, wrapped and dressed. I checked my waist, no scar from the chain. Same for the ankle. I noticed a hand mirror. I picked it up and gasped. Hesitantly, I touched my face. There was nothing, no trace of Viggo's knife. Heather and Ruff walked in with Zoè, heads low.

"Mommy!" Zoè said happily running up to me.

Heather and Ruff looked up and ran to me.

"Astrid!" They siad. 

I got hugs from.all three of them. Zoè sat on my lap.

"Mommy feel better?" She asked.

"Yep. Much better now that my little dragon trainer is here!" I said tickling her.

We walked outside.

"Hey! Astrid's awake!" Someone said loudly.

Everyone ran up to us. The boys hugged me.

"Wow. We hugged Astrid and we didn't get punched! Awesome!" Tuff said.

I laughed

"Yeah... Don't get use to it." I said.

The whole village laughed. Stoick came up to me and hugged me.

I looked around. I noticed a one legged Viking was missing.

"Zoè? Where's Daddy?" I asked.

Everyone went silent.

"Heather? What's going on?" I asked turning to her.

Her head was hung low. Everyone's was. Even Stoick and the dragons.

"Ash..." She said.

"Heather. Where is Hiccup and Toothless?!?" I asked.

"After he got you to Gothi's hut... He went after Viggo, insisting that we stay. So we did... He hasn't come back..." She said.

"What?!? When... When was this?!?" 

"Two weeks ago..." 

"No! Your... Your lying! This is a joke! A sick joke!" I said hopping on Stormfly. 

We flew to the cove.

"Hiccup?!? HICCUP?!? HICCUP HORRENDOUS HADDOCK! THIS ISN'T FUNNY!" I screamed.

No awnser. I hopped in Stormfly and flew to the blacksmith. No one.

"This is not funny anymore!" I said loud enough for the village to hear.

I heard a Nightfury roar and I ran to the center of the village. Toothless landed​ looking exhausted with cuts all over him. Hiccup wasn't with him.

"Toothless?!? Where's Hiccup?!?" I asked.

He moaned and fell over to his side, looking heartbroken. I knelt next to him. He looked at me. I could see the truth in his eyes. He closed them. But he was still alive.

"No..." I whispered tearing up.

I heard crying.

"Astrid..." Heather said quietly.

"NO! NOT HICCUP! NO!" I screamed crying. 

I sobbed with my head​ ontop of his.

"Incoming!" A voice yelled. 

I heard a crash,  but I didn't care.

"Daddy!" Zoè said.

I didnt look up. I heard people cheering. That made me turn around. Toothless shot up and started laughing​. 

Hiccup was sitting there in his knees hugging Zoè.

"Hiccup!" I said happily running towards him.

He set Zoè down and stood. I lunged at him and kissed him deeply. Everyone gasped.but I didnt care. When he kissed back I could feel his love. We didn't pull away for five minutes and when we did we were gasping for air. We turned and looked at everyone who stood there with their mouths open.

"Finally!" Heather shouted causing everyone to cheer and come up to us. 

Hiccup held me close. After a while I pulled away and put on my poker face. His face fell. I punched him kinda hard in the gut.

"Ow!" 

"That's for scaring me!"

"Still?!? Come in Ash! I thought we were pa-" 

I kissed him. Then I lunged at him and hugged him.

"I could get used to it again." He said wrapping his arms around me making everyone laugh.

"See? I told you. That is the girl." 

"Good, set up a trap near their base. Tell Viggo, I have a plan. And this time, Hiccup is going to feel twice as much pain." I said as we pulled away from Berk.

That Brunet and Astrid will be in Viggo's hands. Very , soon. I thought.
