(Hiccup's POV)

I opened my eyes slowly.

"Hiccup!" I heard Astid say happily.

She lunged on to me and hugged me. I sat up and held her.

"Thank Thor!" She sighed.

We heard the door open and she let go.  My dad walked in

"Son!" He said hugging me.

He pulled away. Astrid was sitting on a stool next to my bed and brushes her bangs out of her eyes. As always her axe was leaning against the wall.

"Now, tell me about Zoè." He said.

The door opened.

"Yes. Do tell us about our granddaughter that was brought into the world to early." A angry voice said threateningly.

Astrid stood and grabbed her axe and sat next to me and my dad on the bed and glared daggers at her father. Suddenly she punched me.

"That's for scaring me." She said.

I rubbed my shoulder. She kissed my forehead.

"And that is for coming back." She said.

I smirked.

"Enough! Tell me about that child or I'll-" 

"What? You'll what? Disown me?!? Like you have for my whole life?!?" Astrid asked

"Astrid. Astrid, calm down." I said placing a hand on her shoulder. And she did.

"I was out on a natter rescue mission at Deathwards island. Johan had told me about a injured baby natter stranded on the beach. He said that he came to me because natters are my specialty​. I went to the island. I.found Scarlett, Zoè's natter. I decided to scope out the island and then I found a ship wreak. I ran to it to see if anyone was alive. I found Zoè in her crib untouched and unharmed. Her parents... Didn't make it. So I decided that I would be her mother. And after a while, I asked Hiccup to be her father because out of all the boys, he is the best influence." Astrid explained.

"And, dose Zoè know?" Stoick​ asked.

We shook our heads no.

"And you would like to keep it like this?" My dad asked.

"Yes." We said.

"Fine, consider it done." My mom said.
