Vikram's pov :

" I'm so sorry you had to wait for me , " Navya tells sitting in front of me in my hotel suite .

" It's okay , we can understand why you are late bhabhi , " Chandu tells winking at her and she blushes making me understand that it's something related to her husband .

Chandu told me that they had a love marriage and even after nearly one year , they're not out of their honeymoon phase which usually ends within three months of marriage .

" Enough of teasing me Mr.Iyer . " She orders sternly coming into her professional mode making me adore her professionalism .

" If you don't mind can you give the pendrive ? I would like to have a look at it , " she asks me and I nod taking it out of my pocket .

" It's confidential , " I warn before giving the pendrive to her .

" I'm professional at work and this is safe until I decode it Mr.Rathod , " she tells me taking it and making an eye contact which I've learnt from experience , only people true to their work can make eye contact so well .

" So when can I expect you to decode it ? " I ask desperately and she just glares at me . She actually glares .

What the fuck ?  No one has done that except Maya . But for some reason I don't get angry at her ....

" I'll do the work as soon as possible , Mr.Rathod because I don't have time to waste , " she mocks and I look at her amused .

I never had such banter with anyone and this feeling is overwhelming me and for first time in so many years I'm craving for love , a sisterly banter and what not ......

My thoughts are broken by a phone's ringtone .

" Excuse me , " Navya tells fishing out her phone from her bag . Chandu shrugs and I nod .

A small smile forms on her face , looking at the caller . She gets up to go and speak in private when Chandu pulls the phone from her hand and she looks shocked from the turn of events .

" You want to speak , then speak it on speaker in front of us Or ...... " He leaves the sentence and Navya huffs saying , " I'm not speaking in front of you guys  . "

" Then , you are willing to spend the whole time with him ? Sulking over that you didn't lift his call and not to forget he will be in a hulk mode for a week disturbing your work ," Chandu asks smirking and she keeps a frustrated face and agrees .

" Hello jaan , " comes a manly husky voice .

" Hey , " she replies softly looking at us nervously and chandu smirks while I'm enjoying the live show .

" Why is yoUr reply so soft ? Are you okay ? Should I pick you up ? We could bunk our work you know , and do something we both like , " he suggests and Chandu wolf whistles listening to the suggestion and it seems that her anger reaches it's peak as she shouts ,

" Don't you dare think about it Mr.Shergill , you'll have entry at house only after 6 and before ten past six not more not less . So hurry up and do your Work just like I am . Bye , "

" I love you jaan , bye " he says disconnecting the call .

He's so romantic , chandu gushes like a girl not noticing Navya 's angry glare .

" You're in so much trouble mister . " She warns pulling her phone from his hand .

" The work will be done soon Mr.Rathod . I'll get going now to start of my work , " Navya tells standing up and looking at chandu orders , " Follow me . "

Within five minutes I'm in the premises of my privacy and quietness . I fish out my phone and call Robin , a bodyguard I appointed for Maya .

" Good morning Mr.Rathod , " he greets me and I like usual start my questionnaire .

" Where is Maya ? How is she ? What is she doing ? Did she have her breakfast ? " I ask him aT a stretch and I hear a sigh before he answers me .

" Maya mam is at office . She's fine , I guess . I'm outside waiting at parking lot , so I don't know what she's doing . Yes , sir shE has had her breakfast . " Robin replies in a stretch and I smile nodding as all answers are appropriate and satisfactory .

I don't know how she has tuRned a workaholic alcoholic to a dreamer and thinker always thinking about her .

I open the portico doors and breath in Hyderabad 's fresh breeze . It reminds me of the breakfast Maya and I shared once at the lounge .

I don't know how to stop missing her and so I do one thing that I know will make me feel closer to her ........
