WARNING: Self doubt!

I wrote this when I was in middle school. My grades were dropping and I was starting to actually worry about my future! (I wasn't the type of person to do that then-)

Since Haiku is so short, I decided to do two in one!

This next one is something I found in a book called "Shakespeare Makes The Playoffs" Written by Ron Koertge.

It's about a boy who is struggling to figure out if he likes one girl or the other, while trying to find time to write poetry and play baseball. It's a short book but really nice!

Anyways....

There's not much current

but the tiny frog has to

fight hard anyway

In the chapter, the boy was just describing what he was seeing on a beach, but I think the haiku is deeper than that. What do you think?
