While watching a movie for the first time I couldn't help but laugh
The male lead looks similar to a much younger and familiar actor
Glasses and everything
As it progresses into a whirlwind of chaos I'm confused
For a romcom this is lacking in the rom department
Eventually there is a good balance of rom, com, and heartbreak
Even then I still cheer for the male lead who i yell to my mother has
"Done nothing wrong and it's all her fault"
I don't like the female lead
She constantly finds ways to crush him
And yell at him
Leave him heartbroken time and time again
So I quietly yell at her as not to disturb my mother or my brother
Because I have been rooting for the male lead since the beginning
Since I saw myself in his thin round glasses
Enclosed in his own bookshop
Hidden away from the big world
Eventually they get married and have kids
After months and months of attempting to be on the same page
As the credits roll I pretend like I didn't just fall in love with the movie
I go to bed thinking about watching it tomorrow
Somebody has to try keeping the female lead from breaking his heart again
Until they get married at least
