NEXT DAY-

Anika stirred in sleep and a smile appeared on her face when she saw Shivaay's face. She gently caressed his cheeks and pecked his cheek.

A- Never thought that this Ruthless Mafia Queen would fall in love that too so deeply.

Anika whispered with a smile.

S- All the credit goes to me. After all, I'm so handsome and charming.

Shivaay opened his eyes and looked around her with a smile and Anika's eyes widened.

A- You were awake?

S- Yes ma'am.

Shivaay said with a salute and turned to look at her. He then kissed her forehead and wished her good morning.

S- So are you excited for our engagement today?

A- I am.

Anika said with a wide smile but then her smile faded. Shivaay noticed this.

S- What happened?

A- Don't you think that we should tell the truth to maa and papa? They think that we're married. We have to tell them the truth.

Shivaay nodded his head.

S- Then let's go.

Anika's eyes widened in shock.

A- Now?

S- Yes.

They went to Kusum and dev's room and knocked the door.

Kusum opened the door and looked at them with a smile.

Anika handed over a saree and a suit to Kusum. Kusum looked at her in confusion.

Anika and Shivaay made Kusum and Dev sit on the bed and they sat on the floor near their feet.

Kusum caressed Anika's head.

A- Maa,Papa, today is a party at mansion. Our engagement party.

Kusum and Dev looked at each other knowingly and smiled while Shivika were confused.

S- What happened, Maa Papa? Why are you guys smiling? Aren't you shocked that we are not married? We lied to you.

D- What did you think that we didn't knew? Of course we knew. We got the feeling that something is fishy when we saw you the first time. Otherwise no married couple behaves so weirdly towards each other.

Shivaay and Anika looked at each other in shock.

A- But how did you.........?

Dev and Kusum chuckled.

K- When we first saw you, you kept on glaring at him and he looked like he can lose his life any moment after your glare.

Kusum said with a chuckle and Shivika were embarrassed.

D- I know that wives have that effect on husbands but not like that.

Dev laughed and Kusum glared at him. Dev cleared his throat.

S- Maa Papa, I'm sorry we lied to you but I really love her.

A- Yes Maa and Papa. We are getting married out of love and we want you to be an active part of our marriage and give us your blessings.

Kusum and Dev caressed Shivaay and Anika's head.

K- Our blessings are always with you. We are so excited that finally out kids are getting married.

Anika and Shivaay smiled widely and hugged them. They shared a family hug.

EVENING-

Anika got ready for party and Shivaay was putting on his cufflinks.

They looked at each other and smiled widely. Shivaay back hugged her.

S- You're looking so beautiful.

A- Even you look handsome.

Shivaay smiled and kissed her cheek. He then noticed a different pendant in Anika's neck.

S- What's that?

A- My dad gave this locket to me, mom and my little sister. I wanted their presence with me Today, on my special day.

Shivaay pecked her hair.

S- They are always with you. I'm sure.

A- I really wanted my choti to be here on my wedding. We always used to make plans for each other's wedding.

A tear slipped from her eyes. Shivay wiped it and hugged her.

S- It'll be fine, baby.

Anika nodded her head.

A- Now let's go. Party is about to start.

Shivaay nodded his head and forwarded his arm towards her. Anika smiled and hooked her arm in his. They went down stairs.

Shivaay and Anika were stunned to see the arrangements done by Rudra. Everything was looking so elegant and beautiful.

Many Mafias congratulated Shivaay and Anika.

S- Are you sure they won't kill me?

Shivaay whispered in Anika's ears and Anika chuckled.

A- They are in my territory and they won't even dare to raise a finger at anyone. So calm down.

Anika said with a smile and Shivaay nodded his head

They headed towards Rudra and Bhavya who were talking to some guests.

They turned to looked at Anika and Shivaay and hugged them.

R- Wow! You both are looking so amazing.

A- Even you both. Perfect couple.

Rudra and Bhavya blushed.

S- Where's Maa and Papa?

B- There they are.

They saw them descending the stairs with a smile.

Rudra and Bhavya went towards them. Rudra held Kusum's hand and Bhavya held Dev's hand and came towards Shivaay and Anika.

A- Let's go. I've to introduce you both to all of them.

Anika took the mike.

A- May I have your attention please? Thank you. I know I never shared my personal life with anyone. After all we're in such a dangerous business where my loved one's lives are always in danger so I didn't want to take the risk. But today I want to introduce my parents, Mrs. Kusum and Mr. Dev. They are our Maa and Papa. I'm trusting you all with the lives of my loved ones. One harm to them and you won't be alive to see the next sunrise. Thank you all.

Anika smiled at Shivaay while he was looking at him with widened eyes.

A- What?

S- Are you sure it was an introduction? Because it was more like a threat.

Anika chuckled.

A- In Mafias, we introduce like this only.

Shivaay chuckled.

A- So where are your best friend and his wife? I'm so excited to meet them.

S- They....

Then his eyes fell on the main entrance where he saw Om and Gauri coming inside with a worried expression.

S- There they are. Let's go.

Anika and Shivaay went towards OmRi. As soon as they saw Shivaay, they hugged him tightly. Gauri started crying.

G- Bhai, are you alright? You know we were so worried.

S- I'm fine Gauri. How are you and junior?

Gauri smiled and nodded her head.

G- We both are fine.

O- Shivaay, what is this party?

S- this is my engagement party. I'm getting engaged to Anika.

Shivaay said while circling his arms around Anika's waist and she smiled.

A- Hi. It's so nice to finally meet you both. Shivaay talks a lot about you both.

Anika said while smiling widely.

Gauri and Anika looked at each other and instantly felt a connection.

Om and Gauri were shocked.

O- Shivaay, can we talk for a moment?

Shivaay nodded his head.

S- Don't worry Gauri, Anika will be with you.

They went a little away to talk.

O- Shivaay , have you gone mad? You're marrying the Mafia Queen.

S- I love her Om and she's not bad. She just harms the evil. Trust me. She has a very good heart.

O- Are you sure about this because you're taking a very huge risk?

S- I'm 110% sure. I love her with all my heart.

Here Anika and Gauri were standing awkwardly.

In nervousness, Gauri started playing with the pendant on her neck. Anika saw this and then noticed the pendant. Her eyes widened in shock.

She immediately held Gauri's hand and took her with herself.

G- Where are you taking me?

A- I won't harm you, Gauri.

Anika took her to a room.

A- Where did you get this pendant?

G- What do you mean? It's mine. My father gave it to me, my elder sister and my mom. Don't you think of harming me otherwise it won't be good for you? I don't care if you're a Mafia queen or not.

Anika's eyes filled with tears. She cupped Gauri's cheek but Gauri stepped back.

Anika showed her locket to Gauri and Gauri's eyes widened.

G- How? This......?

Anika nodded her head with teary eyes. Gauri's eyes also got filled with tears.

G- Niku di?

A- My chutki.

They both started crying and hugged each other.

A- I thought that I lost you.

G- Even I was losing hope but Om never let me break down.

A- He loves you.

Gauri broke the hug and nodded her head.

Anika caressed Gauri's baby bump.

A- But I must say that you're much faster than me.

Anika said with a chuckle and Gauri blushed.

Suddenly they saw a panicked Om entering the room followed by Shivaay.

O- Gauri, are you fine?

Gauri nodded her head.

O- Why are you crying?

Om said wiping her tears. Shivaay looked at Anika in confusion.

G- Om, She's my Niku Di. Finally we found each other.

Shivaay and Om's eyes widened in surprise.

S- OMG! This is a great news.

Suddenly Rudra entered the room followed by Bhavya.

R- Guys, do you double couple romance later. First let's get you both engaged.

Rudra said while dragging Anika and Shivaay along with him. Bhavya shook her head in disbelief. Om and Gauri chuckled.

Shivaay and Anika stood on the stage.

R- So ladies and gentlemen, The most awaited has come. Finally, Shivaay and Anika are finally getting engaged. Finally they will force each other to live together, either with love or guns.

Rudra chuckled and all the family glared at him.

R- Okay. Okay. Let's start the engagement.

Shivaay and Anika smiled.

Rudra gave the ring to Anika and she slipped it on Shivaay's ring finger.

Shivaay slipped the ring in Anika's finger.

Everyone clapped for them.

S- Now you're stuck with me for your whole life.

A- Happily.

Anika pecked Shivaay's cheek and he smiled.

R- now let's cut the cake. I'm very hungry.

Everyone burst into laughter. A huge cake was brought in front of them.

They held the knife together and cut the cake.

They fed each other and then the family.

Finally the Mafia Queen and the reporter were engaged.
