"Is she going to make it?"
You're sitting next to Lillie's bed, in a hospital in Celadon City.
The doctor nods:
"Of course, don't worry. We've had lots of casualties like this, and she looks like a strong lady. She'll need to recover for a few days before she can do anything intensive again, okay?"
You sigh:
"Understood. When will she be allowed to leave the hospital?"
The doctor smiles:
"Oh, today, sir! But as I said, she's going to need a few days of rest."
"Alright." You say nodding.
One of the nurses walks up to you, clearly irritated:
"Okay, now leave. We have work to do."
You shake your head:
"I actually thought I could stay here with Lillie."
The doctor smiles again and puts a hand on your shoulder:
"Sir, we know it's very hard for you, but we have to do our job, and people watching us doing our job is not usual around here. I'm sorry. I'll give you a call when she is allowed to go home. Most likely this evening, if everything goes well."
You sigh:
"OK." You say, walk to Lillie and give her a kiss on the forehead:
"Come back to me, Lil. Recover."
You quickly stroke her hair and then leave the building.

Gladion and the Team Rocket grunt were waiting outside. The grunt somehow survived the journey to the hospital, but needless to say he was exhausted, and he was laying on the ground, his hands chained. You pull him up:
"Get up, .... what's your name, actually?"
"Alf, sur!"
You laugh:
"Alf, my name is nót 'sir'. It's Y/n."
"Of course, su-... Y/n."
You make him walk:
"Let's go!"
He looks back:
"Wait... where're we goin'?"
You smile:
"To the estate agent!"

You walk inside a small building, a man sitting in a dull looking chair, in a dull looking room:
"Welcome, sir. What can I do for you?"
You sit down in front of him:
"I want to rent a house for ten people. Immediately."
The man smiles:
"Sir, I'm sorry, but we have only one house that big, and a buyer has already payed a huge sum for it."
You nod:
"How much did he pay?"
The man smirks at you:
"500.000 Pokédollars."
I have around 500.000...
"I'll pay 400.000."
He turns his ear towards you:
"Excuse me?"
You nod:
"You heard me. 400.000. I'm only going to need the house for a month or so. The other buyer can have it afterwards."
He laughs:
"Sir, that's not how things work here! The highest buyer gets the house."
You take the money out of your bag and put it on the table:
"And now yóú can have 900.000 Pokédollars in total, all you have to do is wait a month before giving the other buyer the house. You could just give me the keys now. It's up to you."
The suspicious man quickly grabs the money and your hand, and gives you the keys:
"Deal."
You stand up:
"Deal. But I warn you: when I'll have finished my mission, you're going to give me that money back and give me the house for free."
He laughs:
"And why would I?"
"Because I'll probably have saved your life. A good day to you."
You walk out of the building, meet up with Gladion and Alf and tell them how it went. You pick up your phone next and call Cynthia.
She's the one I trust most.
You immediately hear a soft voice:
"Y/n! I'm so glad to hear you again! I was wó-rried! How are you, where have you been and what's the matter?"
You smile:
"Cynthia, I'm glad to hear your voice too! I'm doing fine, but there's no time for small talk. Where are you and the others?"
"We're in a hotel in Pewter City."
"Good. Have you been to the house in Pallet yet?"
"Not since you left. Why?"
"No one suspicious is following you?"
"No?"
"Are you sure?"
She hesitates and laughs:
"Except for Blue who wants to listen, or smell, too? I'm sure."
That made you laugh too:
"That crazy Blue! Alright, I want you all to come to Celadon City. I've bought a house for us all to live in for a while. I'll explain everything once you're back. Bye!"
You close your phone and smile at Alf and Gladion:
"Let's take a look at our new house! Everything should be already installed. The previous owners left all their stuff in it for some reason." You say, and turn over to Alf:
"And you need new clothes, Alf. The common folk doesn't like people wearing Team Rocket outfits... okay, no one likes Team Rocket but Team Rocket."
Between the walking, Gladion grabs your shoulder:
"Y/n, is everything alright?"
You smile at him:
"Of course! Why would it not be?"
He frowns:
"Is everything going well between you and Lillie?"
You sigh in annoyance:
"Yes! Why are you asking?"
He makes you stop, with Alf following the conversation closely:
"I know you, Y/n. Lillie is more hurt now than ever. Last time she got hurt you didn't eat for a whole day and you seemed dead. Now you're laughing, smiling and buying a freaking house! What's going on?"
Your face darkens:
"I'll explain about the house when we're all here. And I want you to not doubt my love for Lillie ever again. Okay?"
He laughs:
"Arceus, okay. But that still doesn't explain why you're so... not emotional."
That makes you laugh as well:
"Well, Erika taught me. Of course I'm sad, of course I'm angry because Lillie's hurt. But me being sad and angry won't help her, nor will it help you or the others. Of course I'm still the same, emotional person I was before. But if I'm able to keep myself strong, I will try to be as helpful as I can be."
Gladion isn't a man who gets surprised easily, but now he certainly got surprised big time.
A day full of surprises.
He just nods, and you continue to walk. Soon you reach the house.

Your mouth falls open:
"What a shack!"
Gladion looks at you in surprise again:
"A shack?! This is an awesome building!"
You laugh:
"Just kidding, it's godly! Let's take a look inside!"
The building has a lot of space, eight bedrooms, two bathrooms and a pool!
Alf sighs:
"Well, this is quite a buildin', isn't it?"
You nod, smiling:
"It is worth every single quid spent."
Alf counts the bedrooms:
"Eight bedrooms?! Eight?! This is madness."
"You even have your own room. Give me your hands for a second, would you?"
He gives you his hands, and you pick up a knife. He immediately jumps back. You calm him down:
"What do you think I wanted to do? I want to cut that rope around your hands!"
He laughs, says "oh, sorry" and gives his hands again. You cut the rope loose. He sighs of relief:
"Thank yee! Tha' feels much better!"
You search in your bag and pick up his Pokéballs:
"Here you go!"
He takes them:
"Cheers! Did you..."
"I healed them at the Pokémon Center, no worries."
He sinks on his knees:
"Thank yee, Y/n!"
You smile:
"You need to lose that accent. It's getting quite annoying."
He stands up:
"Thank... you, Y/n."
You laugh and give him a pat on the back:
"Way better! Now, there's a Pokémon contest on TV and I want to watch it." It was a contest with Serena, again, and her performance was outstanding, again.
She's really good, Ash!
A sudden sound makes you jump off the sofa.

You laugh:
"Sorry, that's my phone!"
Gladion looks at you:
"Didn't you have another ringtone? Like a way more quiet one?"
You nod, still laughing:
"Yes, but I like to change my ringtones now and again. Anyway, I'll pick up now."
"Hello? Am I talking with Y/n?"
"You are."
"Your girlfriend is ready to go home. You can come over and take her with you."
"Yes! Thank you, doctor!"
You put the phone away, put your shoes on again, put on your jacket and leave the house, leaving Gladion and Alf behind, staring.

You walk into the bright, white room, with only Lillie in it, lying on a bed.
As you sit down next to her, she opens her eyes:
"Y-Y/n?"
You grab her hand:
"I'm here, Lillie. I'm here for you."
She smiles weakly:
"Good to know..."
You give her a kiss on the forehead:
"We're leaving this place. The doctor told me you are free to go."
She wraps her arms around your neck and gives you a kiss on your lips:
As soft as ever!
"Sweet!"
You give her your hand:
"Come with me, Princess."
You help her stand up and let her lean on you. You lock eyes, and Lillie asks:
"Y/n?"
"Yes?"
"Where are we going? I don't think I'm strong enough to continue our adventure just yet..."
You smile, drowning in her emerald green eyes:
"You'll see!"
Before you walk out of the room, you go to a little closet:
"Oh yeah, I totally forgot! Erika left a present for you, Lillie!"
Lillie looks at the closet, leaning on you, and picks up a strange coloured badge:
"Is that..."
You nod:
"The rainbow badge, yes."

Lillie looks surprised:
"B-but I haven't even battled her yet! Why would she give me the badge now?"
"Because we saved her from the grunts. I have one too!" You say as you show her yours. She grumbles:
"I wanted to battle her, she looked strong..."
You comfort her:
"Well, there will surely be another time to battle her. She did look like a strong woman." You say, as she puts away the badge and you start the walk back 'home' after locking hands.

Lillie stands still:
"What is this? Where are you taking me?"
"Our new home! Let me show you, Lillie!"
When you open the door, you suddenly feel arms wrapped around you:
"Welcome home, colleague!" A female voice says, as it is Cynthia.
You laugh:
"Cheers! I like Y/n better though."
Cynthia chuckles, and you greet the others.
Everyone went to Lillie, gave her a hug and asked what happened and how it was going, everyone but Alf, who was sitting in his room. Meanwhile, you get everyone's beverages and sit down on the sofa next. When they have all talked with Lillie, they sat down as well and thanked you for the drinks.
Blue takes the floor:
"Well? Why did we need to come over?"
You take a deep breath and begin to speak:
"Well, first of all: because we were, no, we áre in danger. All of us. Team Rocket has been searching for us the last couple of weeks. They are even spying on your house in Pallet. That was one reason why I thought to buy this house. They don't know we're here."
Blue nods:
"Fair enough. What else?"
"This house and this city have a better position. And more importantly: this house is way bigger than your house in Pallet. We all fit in perfectly. All ten of us."
Lillie corrects you, her head resting on your shoulder:
"Sorry to interrupt you, Y/n, but last time I counted, we were nine. Not ten."
You give her a warm smile:
"I'm pretty sure there are 10 people present in this house!" You say, giving Gladion a wink.
Blue laughs:
"I think he's a bit confused by Lillie being here again, let him be!"
You shake your head, because you feel a bit of a headache coming:
"I'm sorry, guys, but I'm a bit tired. I think I'll have a wash and then I'll go to bed. See you all tomorrow!"
The others wish you a goodnight, and Lillie joins you.
"I'll take a bath first."
Lillie nods:
"I'll read a book!"
You smile hearty and go to the bathroom.

When you are fully clean, you step out of the bathroom.
"AAAAH!!!"
A sudden scream makes you jump up immediately, and you run towards the direction of the sound. Blue is standing at the door of a room:
"Y/n! Come quick! Grab your Pokéballs! I've caught a spy!"
Alf was lying on the ground with a black eye. You begin to laugh:
"Oh my! I forgot! This is Alf, he's a former Team Rocket grunt."
Blue jumps up:
"A grunt?! We have to call the police!"
You shake your head:
"He's a good lad! There's no need."
Blue looks at you:
"If he betrays us, it's your fault. Okay?"
You nod:
"Of course!"
Blue still doesn't believe it:
"Why is he here anyway?"
You smile:
"I need him for my plan."
"What plan?"
You flash a smile:
"I'll tell you tomorrow. By the way, thát is your room, not this one." You say, pointing at the room at the end of the hallway. He nods:
"Oh, right! Well, smell ya later then!"
"Good night!" You say laughing. You return to your room next, where Lillie was already lying in bed, a double bed now:
"You won't believe what I'm about to tell you!" You say, while you put on your pyjamas. You lay down next to Lillie and put your arm around her. She chuckles against your chest:
"What is it?"
You tell her about Blue and Alf.

When you were finished, she was surprised but also laughing:
"That's so funny!"
You sit up, stroking her golden hair:
"You don't know how happy and lucky I am to have you back."
She sits up as well and puts her hand behind your head:
"I'm glad to have you back as well, Y/n. I wasn't going to let you go just yet. Don't let me go. I want this night to last forever... I love you."
"I'll never let you go, Lillie. I love you too." You say, while she presses her soft lips against yours. You lose yourself in a long kiss, 'till suddenly your phone gives the "notification" sound:
PING
You turn around, moaning, and pick up the phone while looking at the message.
"It's your mum." You say, giving Lillie a wink. You read the message out loud:
"Hi, Y/n and Lillie, I hope you received this message on time. How are you? How is your progress on the gyms going? I sent this message because I had sent a package earlier, and for delivering that, I need your location. I hope you are doing alright! I'd love to hear from you soon! Much love! Lusamine."
You quickly send her the location of your new home along with some small talk, sigh and lay down again:
"A package?" You ask Lillie. She shrugs and chuckles cutely:
"My mum has always been a special one. It's probably a present!"
You hold her, laying in bed:
"I hope so. Anyway, it's time to get some sleep, let's call it a day."
Lillie nods, smiling:
"Night night, Y/n!"
"Good night, Lil."
With the moon shining through your window, you fell asleep immediately...

Shablam, we're back!!! I mean, I'm back in Belgium! Let's celebrate! I mean... America was great too! XD

I hope you all enjoyed the chapter, it took me two weeks to write this! Two weeks is a lot of time, but I guess travelling steals that precious time away!
Anyways, as usual, I have one, no, two questions for you. The first one has been on my mind for a long time:
"What's your least favourite Pokémon game?" Mine is B/W. I didn't like B2/W2 either, but it saved the Unova region a bit, in my opinion.
The second question just came up, actually: If you've been living under a rock, then you probably haven't heard the news of a new Lycanroc form that has been announced! Well, the question is:
"What do you think about it? Do you like it or not?"
I do! I'm not sure about the orange colour though XD I will certainly use it in my US/UM playthrough!
