These stories are the third story series and is a sequel to The New Sonic Saga and The Cinos Spinoff stories. However unlike the Spinoff series, many or some of event are canon and have a majority of characters Cinos met in those Spinoff stories. The story also brought back many old characters who returned.

This is considered as a true crossover series as many characters from different medias. Those who are from the Spinoff series are mostly allies, friends, and/or even groups that Cinos which he met during the time of the stories. Many of Cinos' new love interest are also there which might be awkward to see all of them.
