Backstory:

Godzilla sacrificed himself to save humanity from Destroyah and got reincarnated as the young traveler named Aether Hisashi, as the year passed since he adapted his new form, he has a little sister named Lumine who he adores, Then they lost their Mother Kiana at the hands of the Osial before it was sealed away by Rex Lapis when he was 14 years old.

After the Archon War, He learned they made peace and the Archons form the Seven named Barbatos, Rex Lapis, Beelzebul, Kusanali, God of Justice, Lady of Fire, & Tsaritsa. Every nation Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, & Snezhnaya under their protection. After the fall of Khaenri'ah, when he was 15 years old, Aether and Lumine decided to leave Teyvat for another world but their path was blocked by the Unknown God, they tried to fight back but she overpowers them then she took Lumine. He tried to save her but he was taken away and sealed away from his powers by her, leaving him trapped in Teyvat.

So he went to every nation to find and reunite with his sister while doing their commissions, he learned that Lumine is the princess and commander of the Abyss Order, so his Journey gets deeper, to find the answers about The Seven, then He met their cousins, Yoimiya and Kazuha then his childhood friends, Yae Miko & Keqing. Then years passed after he was rejected by Keqing after his confession, He has his feelings for Miko but, everything changes, He lost everything when his friends were killed by the hands of the Fatui Organization and Paimon who turned out to be the Unknown God, and he felt his life has been betrayed and nothing but, miserable. Then He unlocks his true power when he snaps, Aether regained his abilities and his Titan Form, After he wiped out every enemy, He managed to free her from Abyss Curse and Unknown God revealed to be their Mother Kiana, she begs for her forgiveness, which he did, thus consequently he paid the ultimate price.

He told them that he was not coming with them this time, shocking them in dismay because He made an agreement with the Shaman that one of them will have to stay behind, and one of them will have to leave, even though he will save his sister. Lumine refuses to leave him and wanted to go together, but He said it was already done. He gives her a hug and his mother one last time, and Aether urges her to take her, but much to her dismay for Lumine, Kiana agrees to take her and go with her despite Lumine's protests. Then they finally left Teyvat for another world without him, leaving him trapped in Teyvat for eternity, Aether was in distress and speaks out to them to take care of his sister for him before he breaks down in tears & screaming in despair.

After 30 years has passed since Aether chose to stay behind in Teyvat, He vowed to protect humanity non-stop then he got transported to his alternate universe where his counterpart was the prince of the Abyss Order, Lumine is the traveler to find her brother / his counterpart, & Azur Lane existence with Shipgirls. He must protect them so that he will not make the same mistake as he did.
