Lactose-Free Milk

As far as Lactose-free milk goes, I enjoy it. Now, I have tried soy milk, but it was just plain dull to the taste buds. I also tried, Lactiode which is so bland to me.  I have had rice milk, but it lacked the nutrients I was looking for and did not taste that great.  I have had delicious almond milk, but I do think the best lactose-free milk is this brand called Fair  Life.

Fair Life comes in whole milk, 2 % milk, or skim milk.  It even is available in chocolate which is nice since I do like to drink some chocolate milk sometimes.  The other nice thing is the same company makes Lactose-Free ice-cream which comes in many flavors. My favorite lactose-free ice-cream is the mint chocolate chip.

This is nice to have so I can enjoy the taste of the milk without the lactose. I can drink it by itself or pour it on my cereal. I can cook with it which makes for some good muffins, cookies, cheesecake, and much more.  It makes me grateful to know there is such a thing out there for those of us who have a lactose issue.

The only downside to this lactose-free milk is that is so expensive.  Also, the fact that there is this gross Omega 3 type in the same brand.  Believe me, I have tried it and it is awful!  It tastes like someone squeezed the oils out of a fish into a milk which is why I call it fishy milk. Talk about disgusting as ever.

The nice thing about it is that it can be found at Food Lion and Walmart.  It makes it easier to locate it when I about to run out of it or I have just used the last carton of it up.  It is typically located next to other kinds of milk in the dairy section.  This makes it easier to find it then it would be otherwise.

Now, I just wish the brand would carry their milk in more favorites of color-coded bottles. The chocolate milk is in a nice light brown carton, while the 2% milk comes in a blue carton, then the skim milk also comes in a blue carton, but it is a much lighter one.  The whole milk comes in a red carton.

The trouble is that the Omega 3 type comes in a similar red or blue carton. The only difference is that the regular lactose-free Fair Life milk has a white lid on it while the Omega 3 has a gold seal and lid on it.

I highly recommend Fair Life Lactose-Free milk for anyone else looking for it.  It is my favorite so that is how it goes.
