I don't know what fettish I had with seeing Raghav in Black suit.

It made him look damn amazing!

And I wasn't wrong as I saw him in that.

But, what caught my eyes was, he was saying something but he stopped in between and was gazing at me.

"What" I asked and he looked at me for a second and then went inside walk in.

And he came back with... An Eyeliner.

"Isn't it proper" I asked when he didn't say anything but just opened it and took it near the back of my ear.

"Wha.. " I was saying when he spoke.

"I couldn't seperate between things and find Kohl, but you can easily catch evil eye" He said and I realized, he put black dot.

"You're too much" I mumbled but a small smile was there on my face as I wore my over coat.

"You believe in this nazar and all" I asked

"I believe in everything when it comes to you" He shrugged

"Well, as I was saying, heels and you doesn't go hand in hand" He added

"Rana sa, even you and I don't go hand in hand, yet we're living under same roof with out me killing you, Right" I mocked and he sighed

"No doubt you and mockery goes hand in hand" He said and I smirked

"Special treatment, just for you husband" I mocked again but he looked at me.

"I liked this , you saying..Husband...Wife" He said and I looked away hiding my smile.

"It's 9 pm. I don't wanna show late" I announced.

"Right! Raani sa has a reputation to maintain" He smirked

"Of course I have! Unlike you" I mocked back and was walking just when my feet just hit the center table but a hand held mine.

"As I said, Heels and you go so much hand in hand" He mocked and I huffed

"I hate you" I whined

"Yes yes" He said opening the door of the room and gestured me to move.

As we went downstairs, of course everyone complimented us after which we left.

"Robin, the boat" He commanded

As we went to the back side of the complex, I saw a boat already there.

"This is the first time I'm going to the boat in these all months. Even at the lake palaces" I said

"You can go there anytime you want but.. " He was saying when I spoke

"With security" I huffed

He stepped into the boat and then forwarded his hand which I without a blink took.

Because I was wearing heels and it was a boat. And I was sure I could fall into the water too!!

And I would drown in water in this chilly night.

"I won't let you drown. Come on" He said and I looked at him but then realized, I spoke my thoughts a little aloud.

As the boat ride started, I was looking around.

The City Palace was beaming with yellow lights where as both the lake palaces were glowing too.

Udaipur looked beautiful!!

"You seem to be awe struck" He asked

"It is a sight to be awestruck " I replied

"What's going to be there by the way" I asked and he was going to say but I spoke again.

"Food ? " I asked

"It's a hotel Sunshine" He told

"Oh yes right. It slipped my mind" I chuckled laughing at my silliness.

"Mewar Group Of Hotels is the organizer. Basically all these events are under mom. And, anyone from Royal Family always shows their presence. I thought you would like to see the experience hence we're going" He said

"You don't like them? " I asked and he looked at me.

Of course he doesn't !!

"I like to spend time with you." He said and I looked at him.

"You manipulate the sentences too good by words Rana sa" I told as the hotel came and the security stepped in first and Raghav again stepped out first and then gave his hand to me.

"Anyhow, I speak the truth" He replied and held my hand as everyone bowed wishing us.

"Good evening Raana sa & Raani sa. " Manager greeted

"How's the event going" Raghav asked

"Successful Rana sa. This way" He guided and we nodded and as we entered to Garden, there were hootings.

"And we have Raana sa & Raani sa here" An announcement was made and all eyes turned to us.

"God! These are so much people" I mumbled but the security already made a way for us.

I looked at the stage to even find a famous singer performing.

"Wow! This is amazing" I exclaimed looking at him where as Raghav gestured to the couch to sit.

"Can't we just stand and enjoy like everyone else" I asked

"Sure we can." Raghav replied and I smiled at him.

As the concert was going on, there were many folk dances in between too.

And as I was enjoying I saw Raghav looking at me.

"What" I asked

"You look so good when you're enjoying yourself" He said a little a loud

"So you enjoy yourself too" I told

"I'm enjoying Sunshine" He replied looking at me with a small smile and I looked ahead.

After a while, I was tired and looked at him while he raised his brow.

And I pointed my stomach to which he nodded and then gestured Robin and Walter.

And we left from the Garden to the dining area.

As we had dinner, I knew I needed to raid all the hotels of Mewar groups for scrumptious food.

"God! The food was so tasty." I said

"I'm glad you liked it" Rana sa told and as we were going Walter handed him a key.

"Where are we going" I asked confused

"You don't like much people around you right" He asked

Did he notice me this much!

"Am, yeah so" I questioned back to which he didn't say anything and just took me to the lift which opened on some floor and I looked to find a door .

"Where are we going" I asked again

"Terrace." He told and I looked at him as he opened the door and I saw the lake at all the sides.

I looked around and I saw the concert at the ground where as the sky above me.

"Away from people. At your own solace" He said and I looked at him then smiled

"Solace means alone. Should I throw you in water" I asked

"Try that" He raised his brow to which I chuckled.

"You don't get tired of me being like this" I asked

"like what? " He questioned back

"Like this Raghav. Like I'm" I asked and he looked at me.

"How can I get tired of you being you? And take my sword and rip me apart if I get tired of you being you" He said

"You won't give up right. Not even once to get pissed off at the pranks I do on you" I spoke

"As long as they're not harmful to you. I would like to see how much your mind can work in trying to piss me off" He replied

"But why me Raghav? Even if anyone in family would do such, you would've just eaten them raw" I stated

"It's you Sunshine. It's always you" He said and before I could ask what did that mean now, I heard count down.

Eight.. Seven... Six... Two.. One..

"Happy New Year Sunshine"

"Happy New Year Raghav"

We both spoke at the same time and I looked at him as I grinned hugging him.

For a second he was taken aback but then his hands slid to my waist and he hugged me.

"The Perfect New Year Start" He said and I tried to look at him but then found him holding me tight enough.

"Please Stay Sunshine. It's not everyday you hug me" He whispered and this clenched my heart.

And I didn't deny. I just closed my eyes and found myself melting in his arms.

Definitely, we travel the whole world to call a place our home, but a place isn't home, it's the two arms holding you this close to them whenever they can, and that's... HOME.

"As much as I would want you to be in my arms, you would miss these fireworks" He said and his hold on my waist loosened a bit.

And I looked at him and then at the sky.

The Udaipur was covered with fire works in sky. The noises of sky fire works mixed with so much loud music were all I could here.

"It must be more amazing on Diwali right" I asked as I looked at the fire works.

"I've never seen that but I've heard, it's best at that time" He told

"Would you take me here again on Diwali to see fire works" I asked

"You just need to command" He replied and I looked at him

"You aren't my body guard whom I'll need to command something" I said

"You're my Queen" He again replied and I looked at the sky again with a small smile on my face.

"This is so beautiful! " I whispered

Come on Raghav, look at me and say yes it's so beautiful !!

Every male protagonist in books do so!

"In front of you, nothing" He said and I looked at him this time shocked.

He's very...straight forward.

And your Male protagonist tops them all Janki !!

"You were supposed to look at me and then say, indeed this is so beautiful" I told but my eyes were on his hands which were still holding me by waist.

"I did that only Sunshine. It's just, I complimented you directly. And I can't deny this because, every time I find red suiting you perfect, then I find white too perfect or black but now I realize, you don't wear colors, colors wear you Sunshine " He whispered and I gulped down.

No one ever in my life has complimented me this way.

"And no one should. It's only my right" He said and I looked at him shocked

"God, why my thoughts just come out in front of you" I mumbled

"And no one should hear your thoughts other then me . It's also just my right" He stated and I chuckled

"You're behaving possessive" I spoke

"I never denied that" He shrugged

"You know, you.. Can leave my waist" I raised a brow and his eyes travelled to his hands which were on my waist.

"I like it this way" He shrugged and I looked at the fire works again.

"So, what's your resolution this year" I asked still in him embrace.

"Winning your heart" He said without a blink and I looked at him this time.

"You're very straight forward" I stated

"I never denied that" He shrugged

"And what's yours" He asked

"To piss you off more. And eat more brownies. Dance in rains more. Everything..more " I said and he looked at me cupping my cheeks.

"Piss me more. Eat more brownies. And dance more in rains. Your more is what makes me happy" He professed and I looked at him.

"What if I someday really burn your important files? " I asked as we were stepping down

"You won't" He said

"What if I do. I'm totally capable of that you know " I asked

"You won't Sunshine. I can bet anything on it" He replied

"How can you be so sure" I whined

"Because if you wanted to, you would've done this till now. But you haven't. Even when you messed up with my office works, you always had a limited time period for that because you know the value of work. You Sunshine... Have a heart that thinks of everyone else before your own. That is why I'm so sure." He said and I looked at him.

"Am I so predictable to you" I asked as we reached the boat and he stepped in forwarding his hand.

"I try to read you" He replied as I took his hand stepping in.

The boat ride was a silent affair but the warmth of Raghav's hand on mine didn't go unnoticed at all.

As the ferry ride came to an end, he again stepped out and made me do the same.

"We're walking till home" I said and he looked at me for a second and then nodded gesturing Walter and Robin for the same.

"Wait a second! I need to get out of these heels first" I told as we were about to walk.

As I was bending to remove them he stopped me.

"Allow me" He said and bent on his knee when I gasped.

"Rana sa" I whispered but his hand was already on my leg, undoing the strap of my heels where as my hands were on his shoulders for support.

"Stop doing that. It isn't right" I whispered again

"I don't find anything wrong in it" He said

"Raghav, there are few people" I acknowledged

"As if I give a damn" He replied and I sighed knowing he was adamant.

As he removed the heels he took them in hands and gestured a guard to take them.

"Your feet will be cold" He spoke

"I'll be fine" I said but honestly it was cold.

"Okay! It is damn cold" I whined as we walked a few steps.

The home wasn't too far , just a 2 minute walk but it was damn chilly.

"It's coldest night of the year till now. 3 degrees" He said and in another second I was in air.

"Ah ouch! Raghav.. " I shrieked as he picked me in arms.

"What are you doing. People are watching." I said but he didn't say anything just kept walking and I knew again, he was adamant.

"You're too much" I muttered as I encircled my arms around his neck where as he smirked.

"Do not smirk" I warned and he chuckled

"Don't I weigh a bit that you pick me up like a feather" I asked

"You weigh just like a dumble in my gym" He told

"Excuse me! " I huffed

"We've reached the destination ma'am. Do you want ride inside the palace too" He asked and I narrowed my eyes at him.

"I didn't want a ride till here too. I wanted to walk, you didn't let me do that too" I complained

"I couldn't have let you walk on such a cold pavement Sunshine. And I don't mind you in my arms at all. " He said

"Put me down" I told and he looked at me and then carefully put me down.

"Thank you Rana sa. For the whole day. From the public statement till this public appearance and the start of new year. Thankyou" I thanked and he frowned

"What" I asked

"What did I tell you in the morning. I don't like you thanking me for these things" He said and I looked at him.

"Then I guess I need to have a gesture to thank" I whispered and tiptoeing myself I kissed his cheek.

He looked at me with his mouth a little agape and his eyes looking at me shocked but I giggled at his face and ran inside the palace.

As I was going inside, I kept my palm on my heart to find it beating loudly but yet I was loving the rhythm of it's beating.

This man was invading my thoughts and my heart without me realizing it.

And the thing was... I was letting him come this close to me. I was letting him invade my thoughts... And I was letting him invade my heart!!

God Damn It!!

Was I.. Falling for Him!!

Shit! Shoot! Holly Molly Cow!!!!!!

I was falling for the King !!
