RAGHAV'S POV

"So this one's for me too I guess" She asked pointing the yellow rose.

"Before that, the peace treaty if you want" I smirked

"Sorry Mr. Rathore, you signed for the non peace treaty the day you married me" She replied and I looked at her.

"Oh, by non peace I remember, next time if you want to ruin my shoes, remember to add the ones that are in shoe stand downstairs too." I smirked again and she looked at me and then frowned.

"You're too clever to get fooled by me" She mumbled

"That I am Raani sa. But getting fooled by you will be something I wouldn't mind at all" I said looking at her and for a second none of us spoke.

"My rose" She asked and I forwarded that to her.

"Yellow roses are for friends " She added

"So be my friend" I said

"We're.. I mean you're my husband" She mumbled

"Then let me be your friend, your bestest friend before being a husband" I told and she looked at me for a second

"Why" She asked

"Because I don't want to be your just husband. I want be your person. Your 2 am friend. Your best friend with whom you can talk about anything without thinking twice" I said and she took deep breath.

"Thanks Dost (friend) " she dramatically spoke and I smiled at her kiddish nature.

"Rana sa.... " She spoke too sweetly and I knew why she spoke like that.

"It's December night Sunshine. You'll get cold" I concerned

"I won't. Please! Pretty please" She whined to which I sighed and started the car.

"How can someone even deny to this face" I muttered under breath when she giggled then grinned.

"Thank you Dost" She smirked when I sighed

"Wanna eat something else? " I asked and she looked at me.

"Just wanna take waffles for Bhabhi and Megha" She told

"We're stopping at Belgian waffles then" I replied and first we stopped for her to have ice cream and then for waffles.

And as we got to the belgian waffles, That little nugget ran inside and as she was blabbering, I knew she has given order.

Walking in I saw people looking at her a bit shocked but as I entered everyone's eyes diverted to themselves rather then the person then were looking at.

"Which one you wanna eat" She asked

"I've already had intake of calories I'm not allowed to Sunshine. " I replied

"You're saying Not allowed as if you've a doctor who gives you diet chart" I mocked

"And come on. You can't say no to a waffle" She whined adding.

"I can definitely say no to a waffle Sunshine.. " I said and her face fell.

"But I can't say no to you. Lotus Biscoff" I told and that frown just shined with a big grin.

And I can do anything for this smile!!

As we took the waffles , we again sat in the car.

"You can keep driving, I'll make you eat" She said and I looked at her.

"You sure" I asked and she nodded

And then madame started eating hers, in between telling stories about her childhood, her med school and making me eat my waffle.

As she was on her last bite, I looked at her lips which had that chocolate sauce and she just licked that by her tongue and my grip on the stirring wheel tightened.

Control your damn mind Raghav!

You don't want to scare her!

But she is tempting me doing such!

And she need to stop doing that!

And before I could normalize, she looked at her fingers which had little chocolate too and before she could clean that again by torturing me, I held her hand which had chocolate on fingers.

She looked at me as I spoke.

"I'm trying to take it slow for you. Trust me I want to Sunshine. But you doing this doesn't help a bit" I said

"What? " She asked confused

"Do Not Tempt Me" I warned and she looked at me looking at her lips and then her fingers with chocolate sauce.

And she instantly blushed!

"Tissues" She mumbled and I sighed pointing the tissue box which was lying exactly adjacent to her.

"Rana sa, you need to leave my hand for me to take it" She said

"Your another hand can do that work" I replied

"But I'm right handed, can't take a box with left hand" She smirked and I knew the stubborn kid won't stop hence I left her hand.

As we reached the palace and as usual, I opened the door for her, she came out.

As we went inside, Mickey came running and jumped on her.

"Hey my love" She exclaimed picking him up.

"Insane names" I muttered

"You too have given an insane name to me" She mocked

"So give that insane name to me back, not an animal" I replied

"But, I've already given you a na.. " She spit out but stopped and then looked at Mom.

"Mom... I'm coming" She said and was about to run away when I grabbed her hand.

"Name" I asked

"Mom, tell him to leave my hand" She whined

"Raghav" Mom chuckled

"Name Sunshine" I asked again

"Firstly leave my hand then" She stated

"With her you too become a kid Raghav" Dad chuckled

May be yes! Because she makes me lively!

And accepting her demand, I left her hand when she ran and hid behind mom.

"Mr. Jerk! " She muttered and I looked at her where as everyone else looked at her shocked

Mr. Jerk!!

"And what good deeds did I do to get this honour" I asked while she made Megha eat the waffle.

"What is Jerk mom" She questioned and Janki looked at me smirking.

"Jerk.. Nothing. Don't use it okay" She whispered to her

"Is it a bad word" Megha asked

"It's a word that only mom can use to call dad. Okay" She said

"Just like dad calls you... Sunshine" Megha asked and I looked at both of them with a small smile.

" Yes" Janki replied and I knew I needed the answer of my question but it wasn't possible here.

"I'm retiring to the room. Megha, brush your teeth before bed." I said kissing her forehead and she nodded.

"Good night" I wished and left for the King's Abode.

As I changed and was going to the couch the door of the room opened and the minion stepped in and removing her over coat threw it on the bed.

And I looked at her again.

"You looked beautiful today Sunshine. Red suits you real well" I complimented and she looked at me and then with a small smile and a blush she walked to the walk in.

"I thought you won't say that" She said and entered inside walk in.

As she came back again after minutes in her woolen fur night suit I stood up from couch and walked towards her.

"Words doesn't seem to compliment you Sunshine, even then I do because it's the least I can do. You look cute in these too" I said and she looked at me folding her hands and then made a puckered face.

"You either didn't seem bad today Rana sa. And you don't seem worst right now though" She mocked

"You're always like this right! Mocking" I asked

"Oh, the special treatment is just for you" She said

"Well, by special treatment I just remembered.. " I spoke going near her when she stepped a bit back.

I do affect her of course!

"What good deeds I did to get entitled as Mr. Jerk" I asked

"You were.. Are.. I mean you behaved as one" She shrugged

"Elaborate" I said when she huffed and jumped to bed into her comforters.

"Kitten" I mumbled

"You're intimidating. And you really used to intimidate me. And of course you don't listen to anyone. " She said

"I do listen to you Sunshine. Only You" I offended

"Still, you were Mr. Jerk." She said

"Talking in past tense. Then fine by me" I shrugged and taking my Mac book I was going to the couch when she called.

"Rana sa" She spoke and I hummed

"You.. I mean, you ca..You don't need to sleep on the couch" She said

"Floor would be okay? " I teased

"Raghavv" She whined

"Don't stretch and say my name like that" I mumbled and she looked at me.

"And Sunshine, what's inside you is speaking for me to sleep on bed" I asked

"I don't know. It's just, since I've given this a chance.. " She tried to speak when I spoke.

"Don't push yourself for anything sunshine. I'm perfectly fine here" I assured

"But I..." She stopped before saying and just nodded

"Don't worry. I won't let the nightmares touch you alone" I assured and she looked at me for a second and then nodded.

"Thanks for today Raghav. It was a beautiful day" She thanked

"Thanks for the Christmas present Janki. Thank you, for being a Santa in real" I professed

She decreased my guilt till a long extent.

She, indeed is a Santa!

"She's my daughter too. Anything for her" She said

"By the way, when did you wake up at night and became Megha's santa" She asked

"You sleep like a log. If someone even plays drums near you when you're in deep sleep, then too you won't wake up once you go into deep lumber. Lady kumbhkaran" I mocked and she gasped.

"You didn't call me that" She warned

"Now you need a hearing aid too" I mocked again

"You..bufo" She said throwing a pillow on me which I dodged and smirked at her.

"I hate you" She whined

"Sure you do" I smirked resting to the couch

"Sleep like a log Sunshine. Good night" I smirked

"And you have a monster who tears away all your hairs making you bald in dream Rana sa" She cursed and I chuckled at the curse.

"You'll have a bald husband. You'll be okay with it" I asked

"That's why I said night mare" She smirked

"Bad night, worse nightmares Rana sa" She said and put comforters till her face sleeping.

And I too completed some work and slept while thinking of the place I needed to take Janki to.

It was the day of 30th and as I woke up, I saw the little bunny sleeping on her stomach with her one leg straight while other folded, messed up hairs and a pout.

Either she needs to stop doing that, or else I need to control my damn mind thinking anything else.

Going near her I looked at some hair strands coming on her face disturbing her sleep.

Hence I tucked them behind her ear and looked at her pout disappearing and she took small breaths.

Sunshine!

"You're so serene and calm when you're sleeping but once you wake up, you just find ways to do some mischieves. And I can't understand that if any one else would've messed up with my files or Mac book, I would've just eaten them raw. But coming to you, I just accept everything with wide open arms. What effect you have on me Raani sa." I whispered to her sleeping figure and then kissing her forehead, I was standing up when she squirmed in her sleep and held my hand.

I looked at her and saw her sleeping, as I said like a log but her grip on my hand was intact.

I knew she was in sleep and I in no way was going to disturb that. Hence I sat down on the carpet, resting my back on the side table.

And don't know when I dozed off to sleep.

"Rana sa... " A voice whispered

"Rana sa" The voice again spoke

"You're fired for intruding" I replied

"Oh Shut Up" She snapped and I opened my eyes and realized I wasn't in office.

The woman looked at me and then jerked her hand away.

"What" I asked

"I want to pee" She muttered and next moment she wasn't even there.

And after some minutes she came out and looked at me while making a messy bun out of her open hairs.

"What were you doing on the floor Rana sa. It's so cold in Udaipur and you slept there" She said

"It was y.." I was about to say but then looked at her.

"I just slept" I mumbled

"You have a routine fixed Rana sa. You don't sleep like this." She said raising a brow and I sighed

"You, just held my hand when I was removing hair strands from your face which were bothering you in sleep" I told and she looked at me suprised.

"Oh, I'm sorry" She mumbled

"You don't need to be. At all. " I replied instantly

"But, you could've woke me up" She said and I looked at her

"You looked peaceful while sleeping. So thought to maintain the peace a little longer for myself" I smirked and she gasped

"You.. How mean" She whined and I chuckled

"I don't have it in me to ruin your sleep where you look so peaceful" I told and she looked at me.

"Get ready. I need to take you somewhere" I added while going inside the walk in.

"Am, I too need to talk to you regarding something" She told and I looked at her

"Yes say" I asked

"No. Not now. Let's just get ready. " She said and closed the door behind.

I too was already late for the day hence used the spare restroom and got ready.

Going downstairs, I went to dining hall, and saw everyone talking while Janki was making Megha do some exercises.

She wore this greyish blue sweater dress reaching her knees and long boots.

Definition of how to look cute and yet enchant me. And only she could do that.

"Here he's!" Mom said and I wished everyone

"You ready" I asked Janki and she nodded

"But she wanted to talk to us regarding her work." Dad said

"Work? " I asked and she stood up from near Megha and washed her hands in the near by wash basin.

As she took her seat near mine and I filled he plate, she spoke.

"I want to work" She said and I looked at her.

"Elaborate" I asked

"I mean, I.. I have a hospital in Delhi, you all may not know" She mumbled

"I was waiting since 3 months for you to discuss this with me" I revealed and she looked at me shocked .

"You know... God, of course you know" She mumbled

"What should I do here Rana sa? I can't sit idle for whole day" She added

"She's right. Her hard work and dedication for Megha has already created magic. But, she can't waste her practice" Dad said

"And she shouldn't." I stated and everyone looked at me.

"You've worked so hard and got a life not for sitting at home when you don't want that. You shouldn't waste it" I added and she still looked at me with a question mark.

"Finish the breakfast. We need to leave" I said

"But where? " Mom asked

"Hospital mom. She's a doctor. It's her work place" I said and a smile broke on everyone's face.

"And Nivedita, your leave completes today" I added and she nodded looking at me.

"I'll be in office tomorrow Rana sa" She obliged and I nodded

As we finished breakfast and dropped Megha to her school, we headed towards hospital.

"I.. Didn't know you run a hospital too" She asked

"We.. Run a hospital" I corrected

"Why do you always correct me with 'you' and 'we' Rana sa" She questioned

"Because you still haven't understood that it's not you or me, it's us. It's We" I replied

"Just like, you still haven't used the credit card" I added

"I'm independent Rana sa. I can take care of my financial issues by myself" She said

"And shut down my whole empire Raani sa, if I in no way can make you understand that everything related to you is my concern. The finance too" I stated

"You're way too much sometimes. Speaking like a Regal ass" She mocked

"Burst your bubble of imagination Maharani sa. Not only ass, my each body part is regal" I smirked and she huffed

"Your hospital has a physiotherepy department? Or it's specialized to one subject" She asked

"It's a multispeciality hospital. Listed as first in Rajasthan. " I told and she nodded

"Aren't you cold" I asked trying to avert my gaze from her knees and she looked at me then blushed looking away.

"Your blush is more visible to me Sunshine in the cold" I smirked

"I honestly didn't know what to wear. And I thought you're taking me out on breakfast, so I wore accordingly. If I would've known that it's a hospital we're visiting, I would've worn something decent" She said

"Who said this isn't decent" I asked

"Is it? " She asked

"You're your own owner Sunshine. Whatever you wear is your decision. No one has a say in it. And when I say no one here, count me in " I said

"Why everyone doesn't have a thinking like you" She asked

"Did someone say you anything" I asked looking at her.

"Eyes on Wheels Maharaaj. And no, no one said me anything but it's a normal human thinking in our society. Moreover being a Royal now, people must judge me more" She said

"If someone is judging the Queen, then they'll be dealt accordingly" I declared as we reached the hospital and I opened the door for her as I stepped out.

"This is massive" She mumbled as she saw the infrastructure.

"Glad you liked it" I said as we made our way inside.

The whole staff and workers, wished us and I gave a crisp nod.

"Good morning Rana sa, Raani sa" It was Mr. Deewan

"Mr. Deewan, morning. You here" She asked surprised

"Yes Raani sa. This way please" He said and we nodded.

As we reached the MD's chamber, she looked at me.

"Your office. Do you come here too" She asked when I opened the door for her.

"I used to. Now, I give away the responsibility of this hospital in better hands" I said as we moved inside.

"I didn't understand. Whom are y.. " She was saying but before that she looked at the glass desk, and the name plate and stopped speaking whatever she was.

"Welcome to your Hospital, Dr. Janki Raghav Rathore" I entitled
