RAGHAV'S POV

"And now I'm hell lot excited" She grinned as she looked at me.

"Let's go then" I said and she looked at me

"Where to sir" She asked and I put the GPS and she smiled.

"Here we go" She sang and started the car.

As we reached the bakery she looked at me.

"Man, you never had it in you to bring me at such beautiful places" She whined

"Well, I bought you today" I said

"Technically, I bought. So lemme take my credits" She grinned as we went inside.

"Rana sa, Raani sa. You here. Please have seat" The woman spoke and Janki smiled at her.

"Well, you see It's Rana sa's birthday today. And we're here to prepare our own bubble waffle . Can you make it possible please" Janki asked

Little did the know that the way she spoke was enough for anyone to surpass everything to her, and this was just a bakery.

"Sure Raani sa. It's all yours. Please come" The lady said and Janki smiled at me and holding my hand took me to the opposite side of the counter.

"Name me any ingredient, you'll have it here" The lady added and we nodded.

"Can we have two aprons please" Janki asked

"Sure" The lady said and called for two aprons and there Janki had them in her hands.

"Okay mister, let's do it professional way" She grinned and I chuckled as she made me wear that and I helped her with the knot too.

"Some warm dark chocolate waffle which fits in this one " Janki asked showing them the tub and the lady nodded and ordered for that and in another some minute it was there.

"Let's get to work now" Janki grinned and I nodded as I looked at the flavors and I saw brownies.

And hence first I took brownies and taking its chunks I put it in the tub.

Where as Janki put chocolate mud pie scoops in it. I got with some vanilla scoops and Gelato too.

"Chocolate sauce Raghav" She said handing me the bottle and I sprinkled some on it.

"Fruits Sunshine?" I asked and she nodded .

Hence I took Kiwis, strawberries and cherries and put them inside.

"Some more brownies please" She grinned at me and I chuckled putting them.

And then I covered it with chocolate ice cream, whipped cream, Nutella and Chocolate sauce.

"Janki, dark chocolates" I spoke and she grinned handing me the bars and I broke them putting them on top with choco chips, sprinklers, some more sauce and strawberries

"There we go. Do... " I was saying but I realized something and I looked at Janki looking at me with a beaming smile.

"Perfect" She whispered as she put down her phone and I looked at her.

And I realized, the past ten minutes, I was so carefree, so engrossed in making this while being actually happy.

"Now I can say, this was your wishlist" She whispered and I sighed

"Kaise kar leti hai aap ye ( how do you do this) " I asked and she smiled

"Janki Rathore's charms" She said and I forwarded my hand that had this bubble waffle .

"This looks tempting" She told but then looked at the woman.

"How much ma'am" Janki asked her

"And please add up the cost of mess we've created at your counter" I told and she smiled a bit.

"We're blessed to have you here. Please do share your views after having this. And Rana sa you worked like a professional" The lady complimented

As Janki again did the payment and we went to our car Janki stood up leaning on to that.

"Robert,Walter come on , here" She commanded and then looked at me grinning handing me a spoon while filled hers with the stuff and took it near my mouth.

"Eat" She said and I tasted it.

"Not bad" I told and she narrowed her eyes at me.

"My husband made this. Dare you say it bad" She warned

"The same damn possessive husband? " I asked and she smirked

"Yes that one. Be aware. If he listens, he'll chop you off into pieces and feed you to squirrels" She mocked and I chuckled

"Here, Taste this. Your Rana sa made this" She smirked saying this to Robin and Walter.

"And this time if you look at him Robin, I swear, I'll do something sinful" She warned and he took the spoon from her.

As they tasted and then actually complimented us, went away.

"Walter always listens" She grinned and I looked at her antiques while feeding her.

"Damn! This is super delicious Raghav. How can you say it not bad." She moaned at the taste and I glared her.

"What" She asked

"Don't moan" I warned

"I'm moaning at ice cream" She said

"Don't" I scowled and she giggled

"Okay! Take this" She said as she sat inside on driver seat having her dessert where as I tick marked the fourth column.

"And here we go for the next one" She said as she handed me the dessert and started to drive.

Where as, I ate the loaded bubble waffle we created and made her eat too in between.

As she parked the car near a fair, I looked at her.

And as we walked inside, I looked around where everyone was looking at us.

"Good going Raani sa" I said and she smirked.

"There it is" She exclaimed as she saw a giant ferris wheel.

"Ready Raana sa" She asked

"Whenever you're" I replied and she smiled holding my hand and pulled me with her.

She bought tickets which honestly she had to plead to take money for.

And I realized, nine months have changed a lot of conception in people's mind for her too.

They've totally accepted their Queen.

As I sat inside the cubic carriage and gave out my hand for Janki, she took it hopping inside just in front of me she giggled.

And I live for this giggle!!

The next minute , the ferris wheel started.

"Oh my God. I won't look down! It's rotating" She screamed to which I chuckled

"Relax. I'm here" I assured

"What if this gate opens and we fall" She asked and I face palmed myself

"I'm not going to let you fall from here atleast" I said and she looked at me.

"What " She asked and I pointed the sun.

"Look there" I whispered pointing the sky.

It was almost half past six and the sun was almost setting.

The sky had beautiful shades of pink and orange mixed with some black.

Some stars already twinkling in the sky and birds making their way back to home.

I looked at Janki to find her forgetting about everything else and just looking at the sky.

"This is beautiful" She whispered where as I looked at her.

"Beshak bahut hi khoobsurat (indeed beautiful) " I replied looking at her and she moved her eyes to me but then as she found me gazing at her, she gasped and blushed looking back at sky.

"You can't keep shocking me like that Rana sa" She whispered

"Look at the sky Sunshine ! You see the black sky, which has colors right now in it" I asked and she nodded.

"Orange and pink hues. Light bluish too" She said

"But in some time the sky will be black" She added

"No it won't be" I said and she looked at me.

"Even if the hues of orange and pink and blue fades away, these stars, that moon.. They won't let everything be black" I whispered

"Well, that's right! So I can rephrase it as, Universe never let Sky be totally black" She told

"Never!" I said looking at her again.

And She looked at me to find me looking at her again.

"Don't tell me Rana sa, you're addressing me universe and yourself the black sky" She chuckled

"Isn't it obvious till now" I questioned and she looked at me for some seconds.

And all of a sudden, there was power cut and everything was black in the fair.

But as I said, the sky was still painted in colors and stars.

And I found the ferris wheel stopped where as we were on the top of that.

Janki looked at me and blinked her eyes and titling towards me, she captured my lips.

And for a while I was taken aback but then I pulled her closer to me and kissed her back.

And the lights of the fair were back too.

The soft, delicate kiss, on the top of a giant wheel, felt coming straight out of the books.

"Colors doesn't seem beautiful if they don't have some blacks and whites and greys. " She said as she broke the kiss when the ferris wheel started again.

"Some? Sweetheart, I'm the most you've got" I smirked and she hit a small fist on my chest and I smiled kissing her forehead.

As our cubic came down, the man opened the door and I came out helping Janki.

And this time with out saying, Walter gave me the pen and paper.

Tick marking the fifth column I handed it to Janki as we drove towards Palace back.

"So, you paint too" She asked

"Just some rich hobbies of Kings and all you know" I boasted

"Shut up" She said and I smirked

"I don't paint much good. That's it" I told as we reached the palace.

As we reached, she firstly hopped inside telling everyone how fun we had! And then I took her to the art room.

"Whoa! This is giant. How I've never come here" She whined

"None of us are painters right" I mocked

"Fine! Whatever! That's your canvas! That's mine! Don't peek into mine" She warned

"Atleast tell me what you're making" I said

"Donkey" She smirked and I chuckled

"What about you? " She asked

"Horse that equals to donkey" I mocked and she laughed as her laughter echoed in the room.

And there we were opposite to each other painting.

And I didn't know what to paint actually, hence I painted what she is to me.

It was after an hour, Janki looked at me, some paint smeared on her cheeks and nose where as her fingers in paint too.

"Aapko andaaza hai ap kitni pyaari lag rahi hai. Rangeen khaaylo ke uljhe hue jahan jaisi (do you realize how cute you're looking. World entangled in colorful thoughts) " I said and she looked at me for a second then smiled looking away.

"Okay! Let me see what you've painted" I asked

"No. You first" She replied

"Am, okay" I said and turned my canvas to her.

She looked at me and then back at it.

"This isn't horse. This is beautiful" She said and then smiled.

"Ray of sunlight falling on your sleepy figure, every morning" I told and she looked at me smiling.

"So, you see me everyday like this. And I never got to know" She raised a brow

"I'm a mystery Raani sa" I shrugged and she smiled and turned her canvas towards me.

And as I looked at that, I knew mine was nothing as compared to hers. She exactly depicted what we lived some hours ago. With same pink, orange sky!!

"You won me here again" I sighed with a small smile.

"So, what's my winning prize then" She asked where as I went near her.

"We're going to frame it" I said and she looked at me .

"Both. In a same frame. And wait.. " She spoke and took one more canvas and placed it on table.

"What" I asked

"Gimme your left hand" She demanded and I did.

And she took black paint and brush and poured it on my palm brushing it.

"Paste here" She said and I did the same getting impression of my palm on white canvas and a thumb impression on the top.

And then she poured grey paint on her palm and brushed it and then pasted it upon my impression and thumb impression near mine.

And I looked at her creativity.

"Come on, write Raghav and Janki on it. And.. Your birthday date" She said giving me a calligraphy pen and I raised a brow.

On above I wrote the names but below the impression I knew what I've to write.

And hence I wrote our wedding date.

She looked at me and then smiled.

"Okay! Now we'll frame it all. High fye partner." She said and I smiled kissing her forehead.

"This is going to be very special for me" I professed

"Today is most precious for me" She replied looking at me and I smiled

"Great!! Wash and let's do swimming" She announced and I nodded

As we washed hands, she looked at me handing me the paper and I tick marked the sixth column.

And then we went and changed!

As I wore my jammers and came out to the pool side, I saw Janki sitting in a leg suit.

"I expected something else" I spoke when she turned looking at me but the her eyes widened and she closed her eyes.

"Wear something" She exclaimed

"I am! I'm in my jammers" I said

"Wear a sandow atleast" She whined

"And do swimming? Where's the sense" I asked

"I... You're half naked" She said

"I every day am! I do swim like this" I replied

"Come on Raghav" She said but this time opened her eyes and her eyes widened as she saw me sitting near her.

"Ragh.. " She was saying when I put my finger on her lips.

"It's your husband only. You Sunshine, drool when your favorite actors are shirtless" I kind of complained.

Of course I was jealous of my wife gawking the men in movies and series admiring their muscles abs.

"Bear it" I said and she frowned when I looked at her

"Well, I deserved biki... " I was saying before which she pushed me into the pool.

And as I put my head out of water, I looked at her.

"Not funny" I said

"Exactly mister. Throwing in pool is not funny" She smirked and I knew what she talked about.

"And this is all you get. And this is home. Have some shame Rana sa " She said when I pulled her hand and she fell into the pool too.

And as I held her, she put her face out of the water looking at me.

"What the hell again" She whined but unknowingly to herself she had her hand on my bare shoulder.

"In case you forgot, this is our palace Raani sa. No one dares to come here. And right now, no one because Robin and Walter are outside the King's Abode. And, why I'll have shame now when you gave me privilege in the morning to ask for anything." I said and she looked at me and before I knew, she slid out and swam to opposite side.

That's the first time I was seeing her swimming, and oh man! She's damn good at it too.

As she reached the end part of the pool, she looked at me.

"You made your wish list Rana sa. And it isn't mentioned for me to wear a damn Bikini" She said and I raised a brow.

"Clever Sunshine" I spoke and she smirked

And I back stroked near her.

"Man! You know this" She whined

"What" I asked as I reached her

"Back stroke. I'm bit bad at butterfly too" She told

"Then let's learn" I said and she beamed with happiness.

And the next hour went in mocking each other and learning the strokes.

"So now, I'll wake you up everyday at six for swimming" I asked

"No thanks. I'm good. I'll swim in dreams" She mocked as she looked at me.

"Youre cute Sunshine" I said

"Tell me something I don't know" She smirked and was moving when I pulled her closer by waist in water and she gasped her little figure hit my chest.

"I.. We've lots of checklist wa.. Waiting" She stammered and I looked at her.

"Wear anything Sunshine. Even this! You enchant me in ways, no one has ever did and would do. You make me forget that a human even has five senses! And this, you dripping in water, your eyelashes wet with water, the droplets crawling down your lips, do you have any slight idea, how crazy it makes me ? How tough it is for me to control myself" I asked and she looked at me.

"The...then why are you.. Controlling" She whispered looking at my hand and I gave her a small smile.

"You remember what I told you when you asked me to sleep on the same bed for the first time? " I asked

"That the day I speak that looking into your eyes without a hint of stammer you wi..." She was saying and then may be realized what I wanted to say, she looked at me.

"Aap itne ache kyu hai Rana sa (why are you so good) " She asked

"Because You deserve the best Janki! Or ham aapke liye sabse ache banna chahte hai,har shart par (And I want to be that best in all terms) " I replied and she looked at me.

"But there's one thing which I can do without a pause or thinking" She whispered and I felt her leaning to me and kissed me.

And she for sure was making me feel the things I've never felt before! And only she had this power.

Coming out and wrapping her in a bathrobe, I looked at her as she handed me the pen and paper again and I tick marked the seventh one.

"Rana sa, all these months and literally you never told me that you cook" She frowned

"I didn't since 6 and half years" I told and she looked at me.

"You know right, I don't know a lot to cook. I'm relying on you for good food. Don't make me eat your garbage" She mocked

"Say it after you eat" I said and she smirked nodding.

"But before that, I need to complete the wish number ninth because I can't move myself to do that after I eat. So give me some time now sir" She dramatically spoke

"It's eight! Half an hour! Get ready" I told and she nodded

I used another restroom while taking out my clothes and in some time, I was back in the room, waiting for her highness to walk out of the walk in.

And in some minutes, I heard the door open.

There she walked, in that bronze colored silk saree with her hairs tied in a messy bun out of which some strands fell on her face.

She looked at me while I took a deep breath clicking her picture.

Her wearing Indian is just like Mawa Kachori decorated with gold, silver foils and slivers of nuts on top.

"I'm sure your phone's memory must be full till now" She said

"I'll buy ten more but this can't be missed" I told as I stood up

"You could've atleast worn something casual right now. You're cooking wearing a white shirt" She said

"There's a thing called kitchen apron sunshine"I raised a brow

" Righhhttt! Still, a three piece suit! You're too much Rana sa" She mocked

"So, what's in the menu today. I'm hungry" She said

"Whatever you wanna eat. Name anything" I replied and she looked at me but then without saying anything she turned her heels moving.

"And sunshine..." I spoke as she stopped near the door of the room.

"Everything, from now onwards till this day ends... It's A Date" I announced
