I stood up as I look at my surroundings.
I'm in the middle of the city, but most of the buildings are completely destroyed and the whole place is on fire.
I covered my mouth as I start to tear up at the sight in front of me.
There lay the dead bodies of my loved ones.
Tamaki, Kyoya, Haru, Samantha..
No they can't be dead.

"Y/n!"
I turn around and ran to him and once we're close enough,
We wrap our arms around each other.
"Kurama, you're okay."
He smiled.
"Let's get out of here and find a place to hide."
I nod as we ran through the city and into the forest as I hide my ki.

Then we see a small shed in the distance and ran to it and locked the door behind us.
This seems to be an abandoned house.
"What's going on here?"
I ask.
My mouth quivered and my voice almost a whisper.
"Tamaki, Kyoya, Haru, Samantha... They're all dead."
"Shh... Don't cry, we will find a way out of this chaos. I promise."
Kurama said, giving me his gentle smile and I smile back.

Suddenly, we hear loud banging on the door, like someone is trying to break in.
"N/N! COME OUT! I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE. ~"
My eyes widened.
That voice is so familiar.
'17!'
We start to panic.
"Quick in the closet."
Kurama whispered and hid inside the closet.

We hear the door open with a loud bang and we hear a voice laugh in an evil way.
"Oh N/n, you can't hide from me.
I know you're in here~"

I cover my mouth to prevent from screaming.
"Come out, come out. Wherever you are~"
'Why is he doing this?'
I thought to myself.
"Stay here."
Kurama whispered.
"Where are you going?"
I pull his arm.
"I'm going to distract him, meanwhile, you get out of here."
"That's too risky. I'm not leaving without you."
I said as tears start to form on my (e/c) eyes.
"If we're together, we'll put ourselves in grave danger."
"Don't leave me."
He wiped my tears with his thumb.
"Don't worry, everything's going to be okay."
He smiled.

Befor I could stop him, he exit the closet amd immediately closed it but I opened it a little.
"Hey you!"
17 turn around and smirked.
"There you are! I've been looking for you and Y/n. Where is she?"
"Why are you doing this?
What do you want?"
Kurama asked calmly.
"I want you dead! You took Y/n away from me! That's why I killed the ones who are the closest to her!"
Then 17' s palm start to glow.
"DIE!"
He yelled as he fired a ki blast at Kurama, making a hole on his stomach.

I couldn't bare to watch anymore and burst out of the closet and ran to Kurama as I cry.
"Kurama!"
I held his dying body close.
He look at me with weak eyes and weakly put his palm on cheek.
"Y...Y/n.."
"Don't move! Please hang in there, I'll heal you!"
I put my palm above the wound but he stopped me.
"M-my..injury can't...be healed..anymore.."
"Please don't say that!"
"I need...to tell you...something...
I had..always...loved you..."
His hold on my cheek loosen but I still held his hand as I sob.
"NO! KURAMA, PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!"

Then 17 burst out laughing like a maniac.
[A/n:the Yagami Light/Kira laugh]
"Finally, they're all dead!"
I let go of Kurama's dead body and looked at 17 with hatred in my eyes.
"17."
I said as I walk to him and slapped him.
"Why? WHY DID YOU KILL THEM?! YOU'RE NOT THE 17 I KNOW! YOU'RE A MANIAC! A PSYCHOPATH!"
I yell at him and tugged on the hem of his shirt.
"They tried to take you away from me Y/n. So I had no choice but to erase their existence from this world. Now I finally have you all to myself!"
"But killing them is not the solution! 17 you never thought of my feelings before killing the people I care about the most!"
There was a long silence before I yell again.
"I HATE YOU!"
17 just laughed.
"Oh my love, you'll love me soon."
Then everything went black.

I jolt out of bed with tears in my eyes.
It's still dark.
I look at my clock at my nightstand.
01:00 AM
I lay back on my bed and try to go back to sleep but I can't because of the nightmare.
I took my phone and as I open it, a voice spoke.

"Can't sleep?"
I look at the side to see 17 sitting on the edge of the bed.
A worried expression visible on his face.
"Did you have a nightmare?"
I don't have the courage to speak so I just nodded.
"I heard you screaming my name. Was I the monster?"
I nodded again and I hear him sigh.

I feel the bed move and he wrap his arms around me.
"Tell me what happened in your dream."
He said, turning me to face him.
I just stare at his chest as I draw circles on it.
"I can't help you if you won't tell me."
"W-well...umm"
I grip his shirt.
"In my dream... You killed everyone I care about. Including..."
"Including who?"
"Haru, Samantha, my childhood friend Tamaki, my best friend Kurama right befor me."
I said, my voice almost a whisper as I lean closer to his chest.
I felt his body stiffen as I explain my nightmare.
He hugged me tight and run his fingers through my (h/c) hair.
"Shh, don't worry. I won't do that. It's just a nightmare."
I hug him back as I close my eyes and went back to sleep.

17's P.O.V

I hear soft snoring and look at
N/n to see that she's already asleep.
I smiled and pulled the covers over us as I also close my eyes and went to sleep.

Time skip>>next morning

I woke up to see N/n still asleep.
I smile as I pull her close.
Then I suddenly feel her move and look at her as she's waking up.
She finally opened her eyes and my lips forn into a smirk.
"Good morning sleeping beauty."

Me smirk widen as she blush.
I was suddenly caught off guard when she hugged my tight.
This time, it's my turn to blush.
"Let's stay like this for a little longer."
She said as she look at my wtih puppy dog eyes.
I blush harder because of her cuteness.
"O-okay."
I stutter as I hug her back.

Suddenly, the door opened to reveal Samantha.
"Milady, it's about tjme for you ti wake up. Aren't you going to solve the Kira case with L today?"
Then her expression turned into a shocked one when she saw me.
"

Y-young master Lapis-!"
"Is my bath ready?"
N/n cut her off.
"Yes Milady."
N/n dismissed Samantha and lazily walk to the bathroom.
"Wait here."
She said before closing the door.

After a few minutes, she exit the bathroom, wearing a barhrobe and a towel on her head and entered her huge walk-in closet.
After a few minutes, she came out wearing this.

"Let's go downstairs and eat. We don't want to be late for work right?"
N/n smiled and I stood up and we both walked downstairs to the dining room.

Time skip>>after eating

We went outside and exit the huge gate as we see a black car and an old man wearing a black suit.
"Watari-san, what brings you here?"
N/n asked him.
"I have received orders from L to pick you up miss L/n."
"Please Watari-san, just call me Y/n."
"Understood, Miss Y/n."
He opened the door nd N/n went inside the car.
"Goodbye 17."
She said and they went off.

I powered uo and fly back to the island.
Still thinking about the events that occured from the past few days to the events last night.
I should stay away from her from now on.
Her boyfriend might find out and he might break uo with her.
