I couldn't wait to meet Leon in the library after out last class was over for the day! I had such exciting news for him! As I almost ran down the hallway to the library, I heard someone whisper something about one of their friends not showing up to school recently. Another student going delinquent huh. Why do none of them realize how important their grades are in determining their futures!

At least Leon is taking his schooling seriously! Speaking of which, there he is just entering the library! I slowed down to a walk as I got closer to my destination. I didn't want to look like I was in too much of a hurry after all, I still have my dignity. Hehe.

<Leon>

I could barely hold down my grin as I walked into the library and found my way to our usual table, taking my seat quickly. Shina was far too adorable today, likely thinking I wouldn't see her practically running down the hallway to meet up with me. It just made me want to take her and hold her in my arms, showering her sweet face in kisses.

But I had to hold back, I doubt she was ready for such a move. I had to take things one step at a time with my Shina. I had to let her get comfortable with smaller things with me before I could move on to the bigger things. But it was worth taking things slow with Shina. Sweet, innocent Shina, how much I love you.

I couldn't hold back the smallest of smiles when I saw her walk in slowly, acting like she hadn't just been rushing down the hall mere moments ago. But I would allow her that illusion, if it made her happy. After all, her happiness was everything to me. I lived for her sweet smiles and soft laughter. She was my everything.

Ahh, so cute how she was trying to hide that she was blushing!

Oh god, did he see me blushing? I think I managed to hide it... Please let him have missed it... How could a such a tiny smile be so cute?! It wasn't fair! I couldn't be falling for a guy I only knew for barely over a month, even if it was Leon! But how was I supposed to deny it when his dark eyes seemed so full of happiness whenever I saw him? And he was trying so hard to improve his grades! He'd even asked me if I would be willing to increase our study sessions, giving himself even less time with his family. I'd agreed, but told him that I would have to sometimes take time to finish any homework I needed to complete for the next day.

No! I mustn't get distracted by these thoughts! I have news to share! Important, exciting news!

"Leon! You'll never guess what I have to tell you!" I was nearly bouncing in my seat, eager to tell him everything.

"Let me guess... Did you get another top score in one of your classes?" He questioned, tilting his head to the side cutely. I tried holding back another blush.

"Come on Leon, I always get top scores. This is way more exciting!" I barely managed to keep to a loud whisper, not wanting to get in trouble with the librarian. "I've been invited to sit in on one of the lectures my project is being shown in! And I was told I could bring you with me, since you helped me out with it! Please say you'll come with me?!" I practically begged him with my eyes.

I hated lectures, listening to someone with an over-inflated ego ramble on for hours about something I rarely had interest in. And if I did have an interest, I would much rather ask my Shina about it and listen to her talk for however long she wanted to let me hear her voice. At least she managed to always keep my attention, no matter what subject she was talking about. Even the most boring aspects of history took a new life with her voice. But the history teacher? As much as I appreciated him giving her the top score she deserved, his lessons were always so dull and boring. Who would want to sit and listen to him talk for what would likely be hours?

Except, of course, for Shina. My darling, sweet Shina. I could never deny a chance to spend more time with you, not when your eyes were begging me to go with you. It was almost painful to me that I wasn't allowed to hold you close yet. But all good things take time and I was willing to give as much of my time as it would need to make you mine. You were already giving me more of your soft smiles, fewer and fewer going to others as I became someone important to you.

"I would be happy to go with you, Shina. Just tell me when and where you would like me to meet you. We could make a date of it!" I smiled as I gave her my answer. When she smiled at me, a soft blush spreading across her cheeks, I barely restrained myself again from pulling her in for a hug.

Yes, it was definitely worth the time and effort to win over the heart of my sweet, sweet Shina.
