Like this a whole week passed and it was again Sunday...It's 1 hr remaining to his appointment with Monami but here Karan was still contemplating whether he should go or not...He was roaming in his room from one corner to the other while Faizi was watching him silently sitting on the opp. bed...✨

Faizi - Karan bas karde yaar...Ye kya ghume jaa rha hai room mein?? Tujhe dekh ke humey chakkar aa rahe hai 🙄

Karan gives him his famous glare and continued walking...✨

Faizi - Karan dekh...Tujhe pichli baar yahi masla tha naa ki tu jaake aakhir karega kya...But tu gya naa...Aur sab theek bhi raha...Toh ab bas kar...Aur ready hojaa

Karan let's out a huge sigh and for the first time without arguing he goes towards his cupboard and takes out his clothes while Faizi looks at him with atmost shock and an open mouth...While Karan just takes out his clothes and leaves to change ignoring the dramatic stare of his bestfried...😂♥️

Faizi - Ya allah...Ye kya dekhlia humne 🤯

After exact one hour he was standing outside Monami's cottage ready to ring the bell but to his surprise, she already opened before he could even knock...✨

Karan - Umm hii

Monami - Oh hii...You here

Karan - Umm did u knew I was coming??

Karan - Umm I mean, Abhi?? The door??

Monami took a second to understand what he was saying and then she smiled awkwardly...😅❤️

He nods and walks in...✨

Monami - Sit (She said pointing towards the chair)

Karan sits nervously while still looking around...Monami too sits just opp. him on her chair...✨

Monami - So Mr. Shergill?? How are you??

She opens her diary and looks at him again...✨

He starts getting nervous again and Monami could sense that from the change in his tone...✨

A drop of sweat falls silently from the corner of his forehead and he wipes it with his handkerchief from shaking hands while Monami watches him closely...✨

He starts tapping his feet uncontrollably and starts looking at the floor while taking deep breaths...Monami sighs and writes in her dairy...✨

She writes Past in Bold and puts it in a circle and underlines it...✨

Monami - Okay I think we should take it slow (She says with a smile trying to calm him down)

Karan looks up while taking deep breaths and nods lightly with a fake smile...✨

Monami - Okay then...Umm you're an officer??

Karan - Umm yeah

Monami - I mean what you do exactly??

Karan - (He sighs deeply and slowly he was getting distracted too) Umm so... Basically I'm in the Special forces... Zyada btana toh mujhe allowed nahi hai

Monami nods agreeing to him...✨

Monami - Yeah I totally understand

Karan - But I'm Major in rank...Been in the Special forces for 6 yrs now...Umm yeah that's about it

Monami - Wow...That's great

She nods and writes something in her diary again...✨

She smiled letting out a sigh of relief lightly and wrote something again...✨

Monami noticed that but refrained herself from asking any further as she could very well sense that it's gonna be a sensitive topic and there is no need to hurry...✨

Monami - I mean Deolali??? Are you posted here right now??

Karan - Ohh here... Actually han keh sakte hai... Actually it's just been 6 months of me being here...Ussey pehle I was posted in Manipur and here I'm training

Monami - You're here for training??

Karan - Haha no...I meant I'm giving training here...Right now I'm staying here in the academy and giving training to civilians...So yeah

Monami - Oh wow...That's interesting...So kinda off duty

Karan - Umm yeah I mean aaj kal yahi duty hai that I'm training them...I'm the head trainer and bas...But yeah jab zarurat hoti hai, then we're off... Nation first

Monami smiled, almost blushed and nodded lightly...✨

Karan smiled lightly and nodded...He almost forgot that he was anxious minutes ago and both gets lost into eachothers eyes for a moment...♥️

What broke their trance was the sound of the loud bell again making both Karan and Monami flinch... While Karan pinched his one eye tightly and slowly puts his finger in one of his ear...Monami laughed on his antics and looked away...😂♥️

As soon as the bell stopped...✨

Karan - You should really do something about this 😅

Monami slowly controlled her laugh...✨

She said trying to hide her laugh but seeing him soo pissed at it made her laugh out loud...For a second Karan was like what the hell and rolled his eyes but as soon as he looked back at her and her laugh...He too broke into a smile and he didn't even realised that...♥️✨

Karan - Haha what's so funny?? (He asked trying to hide his blush)

Monami - Haha nothing (She said controlling her laugh)

She said trying to hide her chuckle while Karan shook his head on her antics as he got up...✨

Karan sighed and nodded lightly while Monami took out her hand and forwarded it...He first looked at the hand and then back at her...She waited with a smile on her face, he too smiled lightly and forwarded his hand to shake it with hers...♥️

Karan chuckled and nodded slowly leaving her hand...♥️

Karan - Haha see you Dr. Monami...Oh sorry, Ms. therapist

Monami smiled with amazed eyes, almost smirking and nodded little impressed...While Karan smirked and took his leave...✨
