Title: Rescuing Nathan

Genre: Teenfiction

Summary:

❝You makes me so furious! I swear, no one else can piss me off like you can.❞

❝That's only because you let me. You allow me to get to you, because you like me.❞

Seventeen-year-old Aspen McCarthy was under the notion that boys were a distraction and a waste of time during high school. That's only because she has witnessed her best friend's countless relationship fails leaving her to glue back the broken pieces unexceptionally. She was an outsider, or that's what she describes herself as. She spent her time watching anime, listening to K-Pop and trying to not assassinate her five brothers who managed to irritate her with just their presence.

But then she encounters with Nathan Travers who appears to ignite her interest with his reckless attitude and attractiveness. He seems to be the only male who has ever made her heart race, invade her thoughts and piss her off to the point where she wants to rip her own head off.

This is the story of a girl intimidated by the thought of falling in love, a boy who wants to overlook reality, and their concealed vulnerability.

Review:

Having no actual interest for love affairs between straight or gay couples, this book surprised me due to the most simplest reasons.

- The characters sense of humour
- The pace of the story flows well.
- The storyline is realistic.
- The writing style is simple yet descriptive.
- No complicated plots.

For a story that is based on love, it's sweet without feeling cringy, and I would recommend this book to anyone because it's refreshing to read. Although each chapters is short, it's not loaded, meaning not too much information is within one chapter. The story itself spreads out well and I do like the main character attitude and behaviour. It's enjoyable and something I'd continue on reading on a Saturday afternoon, sitting in the park.
