You're probably wondering about Toadbounce's back story weeeell here it is:

Toadkit was born to Ferntail and Blacksplotch along with his sister Asphaltkit. Near to his apprentice ceremony, his mother caught a nasty bought of Greencough killing her, Silverspot had tried to save Ferntail but she was already to far gone. Before their ceremony Asphaltpaw damaged her leg badly, as soon as his sister received her name she had to retire, dying later of infection. Toadbounce's sister's name was Asphaltleg.
