maroon met plankton when the silkwings and leafwings went to pyrrhia for safety. plankton had been visiting the ice kingdom on a diplomatic mission for the queen aka his mother. (noticed the seemingly royal markings so i went with it) maroon wanted to watch the sunrise so she went to the sea for a better view. there she met plankton, who maroon thought looked strange, with his having only two wings. from there, romance blossomed and the two became quite close. plankton did a pyrrhian marriage proposal and maroon accepted. they now have three dragonets, one seawing, a male, named anchovy, one silkwing, a male, named malachite, and one seawing silkwing hybrid, a female, named crescent. anchovy is pale blue with pinkish sails, wings, and luminous spots; malachite is deep green with blue freckles and pale green wings; and crescent is pale pink with blue and green wings
