Winter ... it hit.

Christmas is awaiting and I cannot wait to spend it with my family.
Jackson would be keen to spend it with his family too.

Snowflakes pour down and the ground was layered with sparkling snow ... winter is beautiful.

"24 days till Christmas!" Violet cheered, "Can't wait to leave."

"Keen to see your family too?" I ask.

"... Suprisingly, yes." She answers, "Wait ... are you seeing your family? I thought you'd make plans with Jackson."

I sigh, "I wish I could spend it with both of them but ... there are boundaries of tradition."

"Break the boundaries." She responds.

"Nope, I need to see my family." I tell her firmly then she shrugs.

Jackson Overland

I'm cooking pasta, like Elsa taught me to do.

"Hey, are you spending Christmas with me?" James asks.

"Yeah." I respond.

"Do you want to spend Christmas here?" He rephrases the question.

"Yes." I firmly reassure him.

"Is Elsa coming?"

"No."

"Do you want to spend Christmas with her?"

"Yes."

"Then why don't you hang out with her on Christmas? I don't mind." James suggests.

"Are you stupid? I'm not leaving you alone for Christmas." I say.

"I'm not alone I've got Sophie, mom and dad." He replies with a smile.

"They are all at their graves." I tell him.

"I think they'll come visit for Christmas." James says, "Even if it is for a while."

"No I'm staying here, even if I did ask Elsa should would say no and spend it with her family." I tell him.

"Are you seriously going to miss this opportunity bro? You need to make new memories to look back on and smile." James tells me, "You need to truly live."

"I will with you." I reply.

"If you do. I will make it the worst Christmas ever." James says, "You and Elsa need to do things that'll never erase from your mind, a memory that cannot be corrupted."

I sigh and look down then up at his eyes.

He's right.

I surrender, "Fine ... I'll try asking her. But it's definite she'll be at her family."

Elsa Arendelle

I wait at the icy bench, waiting for Jackson, after I recieved a text from him to meet him there.

Jackson arrives, in a bulkier blue hoodie and a black beanie. "Yo." He greets me then smiles to join me.

"Why'd you call me here anyway?" I ask, "You usually tell me something when you see me by."

"Well," Jackson says, "I actually- want to spend Christmas with you."

My eyes widen, I can't leave my family.

"I-I want to ..." I look down and tell him, "But I have to stay with my family."

Jackson sighs then smiles greatly, "That's understandable, but you have to make it up to me."

"You can't make up for Christmas." I laugh.

"You can make up for Christmas by never leaving my side." Jackson tells me and puts his hands behind his neck.

"Can you stop it already, I will always be by your side." I say and snuggle up to his hoodie, "Can I ask ...? What exactly do you like about me? Not many people can even stand me."

Jackson wryly laughs, "Elsa, I can never pinpoint what exactly love about you. I guess I just love you. But you never gave up, even if I pushed you away." He explains.

"That's the same with me. I can never tell what I love about you." I tell him, then I stop snuggling up to him.

Jackson tilts his head at me, looking like a cute puppy. His mouth is covered by his sleeve.

"Hey ... Elsa will you really stay with me forever?" He asks again.

"Shut up already! Of course I will!" I exclaim in frustration.

"We're basically engaged now." He says and smiles like an idiot.

I look at him in alarm, "Don't play tricks like that!" I shout at him, and I hit him rapidly on his back.

"Woah! Easy ..." He laughs.

"You brought it on yourself." I say and giggle.

Jackson goes back to his cute puppy face, tilting his face again.

"But ... don't you want to be my wife?"

My eye twitches, "Don't you get embarrassed?" I ask.

He shakes his head, still being all cute.

... Hmmm how about I test him?

"Okay Jackson, I'll be your wife." I say to him.

Jackson looks away, putting his hand against his mouth, and I catch a glimpse of his red flushed cheeks.

"I was joking." I tell him and he continues blushing.

"Don't catch me off guard. It's mean." He tells me, still looking away.

"That's revenge." I cackle evilly.

... I really want to spend Christmas with Jackson, but I don't want to leave my family ... if only ...
