It was the time of the evening, the sun was shining over the hill where everyone was present. Avni was standing at the edge of the hill. Avni looked at the timer and there were only 30 secs. Avni was shocked and she was about to jump but Neil came there and he held Avni’s arm. Neil pulled Avni to him and snatched the jacket from her. Neil threw the jacket.

Everyone got shocked and they shouted, Avni.

Prakash: Neil. Avni.

Mitali: Neil.

The bomb blasted. Everyone got shocked and they closed their eyes and turned their faces while keeping their hands on their ear. Neil jumped with Avni on the ground and they fell on the ground. Everyone looked at the direction where Avneil were present. They could only see the smoke and dust. Everyone got shocked. A tear fell from Sunehri and Mitali’s eyes. Prakash looked shock and his eyes were moist. Everything just stopped.

Avni and Neil took their faces up and they were covered with the dust. They looked up and then they looked at themselves. Neil looked at Avni who also looked at him. They sat on their knees and cleaned themselves. Neil looked at Avni and then he looked here and there. Neil got up and he cleaned his clothes. Everyone was crying. Mitali saw Neil and she saw shocked.

Mitali: Neil.

Everyone looked at Mitali and they got surprised. They looked at Neil and got another surprised. They smiled and wiped their tears. Neil was cleaning his clothes and himself. Neil looked at Avni who was sitting while holding her arm. She got hurt. Neil forwarded his hand and Avni saw that. Avni looked at Neil who was looking at her. Neil looked up and then he looked away. Avni looked at Neil’s hand and she gave him the hand. Neil made Avni stand angrily.  Avni cleaned her clothes and they looked down. Avni looked at Neil who looked at her. Everyone smiled to see them and they ran to them.

Vidyut came there and he saw Avni, Neil and others. Vidyut got shocked and angry. A gun was in his hand. Vidyut thought.

Flashback:

The police vans were passing by the road. Vidyut and his man were in it. Vidyut was lost in his thoughts and he looked up. Vidyut saw a gun in Policeman’s gunholder. Vidyut thought and he looked out from the van. Vidyut thought. Vidyut took the gun and he shoot the men. The jeep stopped. The driver and officer got down from the jeep. They came backside. Vidyut opened the door and the officer got injured. They fought and the policemen were laying on the road. Vidyut ran with his men.

Flashback ended.

Vidyut looked at Avni and Neil. He was pissed of losing.

On the other side, Neil and Avni were standing at the edge of the hill. Neil looked at Avni.

Neil: kya tha yeh sab?

Avni looked at Neil who looked angry.

Neil: hmm, kya tha yeh sab? Kya karne jaa rahi thi?

Avni looked down and she was standing while holding her arm.

Neil: apni jaan dene jaa rahi thi tum? Han?

No reply. Neil held Avni’s arms.

Neil: smajhti kya ho khud ko tum? Han? Smajhti kya ho? Tumhe kya lagta hai yeh sab karne se sari problems solve ho jaenge? Han?

Everyone came there. Mitali looked at Avni and Neil.

Neil: kyun? Kyun karti ho tum asa? Kyun? Kya marne se sari problems solve ho jati hain?

Everyone looked at Avni.

Neil: tum sirf apne bare main sochti ho.

Avni looked at Neil shockingly and she got hurt to think that Neil still think that she is self centered.

Neil: tumhe sirf apni pari hai.

Avni lowered her gaze.

Neil: tum ek number ki khudgarz aur selfcentered insan ho.

Avni looked at Neil sadly. Neil looked into Avni’s eyes and he saw pain. Neil realized what he said and he felt guilty. Neil lowered his gaze and Avni also looked down. Neil loosen the grip on Avni’s arms and left her.

Prakash: Neil, rehne de abhi ke liye in baton ko.

Neil looked at Prakash and then he looked down. Neil looked at Avni who was looking down. Neil looked down.

The kids hugged Avni and Prakash hugged Neil. They looked at each other. Prakash cupped Neil’s face.

Prakash: tu theek hai?

Neil nodded and said, yes, Dad.

Sunehri hugged Avni.

Sunehri: tu theek hai na?

Avni nodded and Neil looked at her. Tara and Sitara met Avni. Prakash also met Avni and cupped her face.

Prakash: thank God, tu theek hai.

Prakash moved back and Avni kept her hair behind her ear.

Prakash: ab humain ghar chalna chahiye.

Avni looked at Prakash and then she looked at Neil and Mitali. Avni remembered about Neil and Mitali’s wedding.

Avni kept her hair behind her hair.

Avni: ab.

Neil looked at Avni.

Avni: Aaj tum dono ki shadi thi.

Neil remembered about his wedding and he remembered how he left Mitali there. Neil looked at Mitali.

Avni: I am sorry, meri waja se tum dono ka itna important day kharab ho gaya.

Neil looked at Avni sadly.

Mitali: it’s ok. Tum sab ki jaan bachana zyada important tha.

Avni smiled and Neil looked down. Neil gulped. Neil looked at Avni. Neil wanted to talk to Avni but he felt stuck and helpless.

Avni: ab tum dono ko apne ghar jana chahiye. Ek nai zindagi ki shurwat karni chahiye.

Neil looked at Avni sadly. Neil looked down and gulped while nodding and his eyes were wide open. Avni looked at Neil. Avni asked the kids to come. Avni moved with kids and Neil was looking at them. Prakash asked Neil to come.

Everyone started to move from there. Vidyut was looking at them. Vidyut got angry to see Avni and Neil together. Vidyut felt a fire inside him.

Vidyut: Har baar, har baar, Avni aur Neil Mujh se jeet jate hain. Har baar un ki jeet hoti hai aur meri haar lekin is baar main asa nahi hone dunga. Agar Avni meri nahi ho sakti to main usay Neil ka bhi nahi hone dunga.

Vidyut looked at Neil who was going with everyone. Vidyut looked at the gun which was in his hands. Vidyut thought and he saw the flashes how he killed Juhi. Vidyut looked at Neil.

Vidyut: Salon pehle isi jaga maine Juhi ko mara tha. Aur theek usi tarha main Neil Khanna ko marunga. Jaise main mere pyaar ke liye tarp raha hun theek waise hi Avni bhi tarpe gi sari zindagi.

Vidyut looked at the gun angrily and then he looked at Neil. Vidyut pointed the gun at Neil. Avni, Neil and others were going. Avni was ahead of Neil and they were going from there. Avni looked up and she was shocked to see Vidyut. Avni stopped and she turned her face and then she looked at Neil. Avni understood that Vidyut’s target is Neil. Avni was shocked. Vidyut came forward.

Avni shouted: Neil.

Neil looked at Avni. Vidyut pressed the trigger. Avni ran to Neil who was surprised. Avni came in front of Neil and the bullet hit Avni’s chest. The birds fell in the sky. Neil was shocked and he held Avni. Everyone got shocked. Vidyut was also shocked.

Neil shouted: Avni.

Everyone shouted Avni’s name. Avni was in Neil’s arms and Neil sat while holding Avni in his arms and lap.

Everyone sat around Avni. Mitali looked at the direction and she saw Vidyut. Mitali was shocked. Mitali took out her gun and she shoot Vidyut. Mitlai fired 5,6 bullets. Neil and others flinched and they looked at Vidyut. They were shocked to see him. Neil looked at Mitali and he was shocked. Mitali was looking at Vidyut. Everyone looked at Mitali. Neil looked at Vidyut. Vidyut fell down and he looked at Avni. Vidyut raised his hand.

Vidyut: Av, Avni.

Vidyut wanted to hold Avni’s hand who was in Neil’s arm. Vidyut started to breathe heavily and then he stopped breathing.

On the other side, Avni was in pain. Neil and others were crying.

Neil: Avni. Avni.

Mitali was shocked to see Neil. Avni looked at Neil with moist eyes. Neil cupped Avni’s face.

Neil: Avni.

Avni smiled with teary eyes because she was taking her last breath in her Neil’s arms. Avni tried to say Neil.

Avni: Neil.

Neil nodded and said, Ha, han, Avni, bolo.

Avni: Neil, Neil.

Neil was nodding. Everyone was crying. Avni held Neil’s shirt.

Avni: ab, ab to tumhe mujhse koi shikayat nahi hai na?

Neil cried.

Avni: ab to tum mujhse nafrat nahi karte ho na.

Neil shook his head and Avni smiled. Neil gulped and wiped his tears.

Neil: Dad, Dad, humain Avni ko hospital le kar jana hoga.

Prakash: han.

Neil tried to pick up Avni.

Avni: Nahi.

Everyone looked at Avni shockingly.

Avni: Nahi, ab mere jane ka waqt agaya hai.

Neil got angry.

Neil: shut up, Avni, tumhe kuch nahi hoga.

Avni smiled. Mitali looked at Neil.

Neil: Chalo.

Avni shook her head and she denied. Neil was shocked and his eyes were teary.

Sunehri: Avni, yeh kya bachpana hai. chal.

Avni shook her head and she looked at Neil. Avni squeezed her eyes because of pain and she was painting. Avni looked at Neil.

Avni: Neil.

Neil got alert.

Avni: Aaj Sukoon house main jo kuch bhi howa. Wahan jo bhi baatain hoi. Mujhse wadda karo ke tum un baton ka zikar kisi se nahi karoge.

Neil was shocked. Sunehri looked at Neil.

Avni: unhe hamesha raaz hi rakhoge.

Avni looked at others.

Avni: aur aap sab bhi mujhse waada kijiye ke aap log bhi kabhi Neil se kuch nahi puchenge.

Neil was just looking at Avni sadly.

Prakash: Putter, yeh sab batain chalti rahenge. Abhi chal hospital chalte hain.

Avni looked on.

PrakashL yeh kya zid hai, Bache. Chal na hospital.

Avni was looking at Prakash.

Avni: Papa Ji, ab aur bardasht nahi hota. Ab aur nahi saha jata. Bus bohat ho gaya.

Everyone got emotional and Mitali also felt bad.

Avni: ab bus Ayesha Maa aur Neela Maa ke pass jana chahti hun. Un ki goud main sar rakh kar sona chahti hun.

Neil looked at Avni emotionally and the same situation was with others. Avni looked at Neil.

Avni: Neil, Moghli ka dihan rakhna.

Neil was shocked. Avni looked at Mitali who was lost.

Avni: Mitali.

Mitali looked at Avni.

Avni: Please mere Moghli ka khayal rakhna.

Mitali looked on. Neil got emotional and suppressed his lips. Neil cried.

Avni: Usay kabhi Maa ki kami mehsos mat hone dena.

Neil: Avni, bakwas karna band karo. Moghli humara beta hai.

Mitali was shocked.

Neil: Moghli ki Maa tum ho.

Mitali looked at Neil shockingly.

Neil: Moghli ka dihan tumhe khud rakhna hai. Tumhe theek ho kar Moghli ki achi parvarish karni hai. Usay ek acha insan banana hai. Moghli ka dihan tumhe khud rakhna hai.

Avni felt difficulty in breathing.

Neil: aur tumhe kis ne permission di hai jaane ki.

Mitali was shocked and others got emotional.

Neil: Maine tumhe jane ki permission nahi di. Suna tum ne. Tumhe mujhse dur jane ki permission nahi hai.

Mitali was just looking at Neil.

Neil: Suna tum ne. Tumhe mujhse dur jane ki permission nahi hai.

Avni was in pain and the tears fell from her eyes. Avni smiled to see Neil. Avni thought now it’s her time to go. Avni joint her hands.

Avni talked with difficulty: Ne, Neil. Neil. Mu. Mujhe mauf kar dena.

Neil held Avni’s hand and he was crying.

Avni: Mujhe mauf kar dena. Meri waja se tumhari zindagi barbad ho gai.

Neil shook his head. Mitali looked at Neil.

Neil: Nahi.

Avni smiled. Everyone was crying.

Avni talked with difficulty: Ab, ab tumhe meri waja se kabhi koi takleef nahi hogi.

Neil was crying. Neil captured Avni in his arms and he touched his forehead to Avni’s forehead. Avni smiled. Avni cupped Neil’s face.

Avni: Neil. I, I love you.

Neil looked at Avni, his face was red and hair was messed.

Avni: mujhse nafrat mat karna.

Avni breathe heavily. Neil and others got shock.

Neil: Avni. Avni.

Everyone called Avni’s name. Avni clenched Neil’s shirt.

Neil: Avni. Avni, nahi. Avni. Avni, nahi. Avni, tum apne Neil ko chor kar nahi jaa sakti. Avni.

Mitali was shocked. Everyone cried.

Avni looked at Neil and a tear fell from Avni’s eyes and she stopped breathing. Neil got shocked and others got shocked  Neil was just looking at Avni shockingly.

What will happen now? Will Avni survive and Neil would live in Avni’s memory?
