Day passed and Avneil were busy with their respective work but they gave equal time to each other and the family. They enjoyed the family time and also spent time with Neav in their rooms or in Neav’s room. Avni helped Neav in his studies. Neil was sitting in his cabin and he was checking the files and Avni was also doing the same in her office. Neil was briefing the staff on the multimedia and Avni was in meeting with the clients or parents. Neil went to visit the crime scene and he saw the deathbody and he looked around. Avni was busy with the teams and showed them Sukoon house along with Sunehri. Avni told them about their assets and also she played with the kids. Neil also did his show. Sometimes at the radio station, sometimes at home. Avneil’s schedule was very hectic but they were managing it effectively.

One day, Avni was talking with the team and Sunehri was also present there. They were smiling.  Avni felt the things are spinning but she managed the situation. Avni talked with them. The team went from there and Avni huffed. Avni again felt the same. She was suffering from vertigo these days. Avni caught her head and she stumbled. Sunehri was shocked and she held Avni.

Sunehri: Avni.

Avni felt everything is spinning and her vision got blurred.

Sunheri: Tu theek hai?

Avni was still feeling the same but she was better. Avni was sweating.

Avni: han, main theek hun.

Sunehri: kya khak theek hai. Pani, pani ho gai hai.

Avni caught her head and shut her eyes.

Sunehri: chal beth chal ke.

Sunehri said while taking Avni to the stools: Zara apna dihan nahi rakhti tu.

Avni: Main theek hun, Sunehri, bus zara sa chakar agaya tha.

Sunehri brought Avni to the bed and made her sit. Avni caught her head.

Sunehri: chakar to aenge na. Pura din bus kaam, kam.

Avni was feeling low.

Sunehri: tu beth main pani le kar aati hun.

Sunehri went and Avni was feeling low.

It was the time of the evening, the sun was shining over the Khanna mansion. Avni and Neav were sitting on the bed and Avni was helping Neav in his studies. Neav looked at Avni.

Neav: Mama, aap ka favourite subject konsa tha?

Avni: Mera favourite subject?

Neav nodded.

Avni: Science.

Neav: Science?

Avni nodded.

Neav: aur konsa subject hai jo aap ko bilkul pasand nahi tha.

Avni was about to say but they heard: Maths.

Avni and Neav turned her faces and they saw Neil. Neil smiled and he came to them. Avni was looking at Neil.

Neil: Aap ki mama ko maths bilkul pasand nahi thi.

Neil looked at Avni and he remembered that Avni was drugged and she told him that she hates maths.

Neav: Maths?

Avneil looked at him. Neav smiled and sat on the bed. Avni also smiled.

Neil: Han, maths. Aap ko pata hai, aap ki mama ko maths se bohat nafrat thi. Unhe apni life mein kabhi maths chahiye hi nahi tha.

Neil looked at Avni who also looked at him. Neav looked at Avni.

Neav: Really, Mama?

Avni nodded.

Avni: hmm.

Neav: mujhe to maths bohat pasand hai.

Neil: Aap Papa per gaye ho na.

Avni looked at Neil. Neav smiled. Neil looked at Avni.

Neil: Ab maths har kisi ke bus ki baat thori hai.

Avni gave a look to him. Neil smiled and looked at Neav.

Neil: Hum genius hain.

Neil and Neav smiled and they looked at Avni who gave them a look.

Neav pulled Avni’s cheek: meri pyari Mama, hum Mazak kar rahe hain. Aap se genius to koi ho hi nahi sakta.

Avni smiled and she cupped his face.

Avni: mera bacha.

Avni kissed Neav’s cheek.

Neil: Maa ko maska lagaya jaa raha hai.

They looked at Neil and broke the hug.

Neil: maska laga lekin jhot to mat bol, yaar Tiger.

Avni looked at Neil and Neil looked at her. Avni took a cushion and hit Neil with it. Neil smiled.

Avni: Shut up.

Neil smiled.

Avni: Jealous.

Neil: oh ho. Oh ho. Oh ho. Jealous aur main. Ghalat fehmi hai aap ki.

Avni: Really?

Neav came to Neil and moved to his ear. Avni looked at them confusingly.

Neav: whispered in his ear: Papa, chup ho jao warna aaj aap ko couch per sona parega.

Neil widened his eyes and looked at Neav. Neav nodded.

Neil whispered: you are right, Tiger. Yeh to maine socha hi nahi.

Avni was looking at them with narrowed eyes. They looked at Avni.

Avni: yeh kya batain ho rahi hain?

Neav: Kuch nahi. Kuch nahi.

Neil: Han kuch nahi. Hum to bus ase hi.

Avni was looking at them.

Neil: Avni, ek glass pani dena.

Avni: yeh jug hai, yeh glass hai.

Avni looked at Neil angrily.

Avni: khud utha ke pee lo.

Neil flinched and Avni glared at him. Avni got up and she went from there. Neil and Neav were looking at Avni. They looked at each other.

Neav: I told you.

Neil’s eyes were wide and he thought. 
The next day, it was a time of the day, and the sun was shining over the Khanna mansion where Avni was sitting on the bed and she was feeling low. Avni wiped the sweat from her forehead.  Avni felt to vomit and she ran to the washroom. Avni came out of the bathroom and a small towel was in her hand. Avni wiped her mouth and she gulped. Avni was feeling nausea.

Avni: Pata nahi kya ho raha hai. Subha sa ajeeb si bechaini ho rahi hai. Nausea sa feel ho raha hai. Bohat low feel kar rahi hun.

Avni shut her eyes and caught her eyes.

Avni: shayad garmi ki waja se BP…

Avni stopped. Something struck her mind. Avni thought and she smiled. 

Avni: Kahin main…

Avni was surprised and she smiled.

Later, Avni came to the washroom and this time also a small towel was in her hands. Avni was looking happy. Avni came to the bed and stood at the footside. Avni smiled and she blushed. Avni touched her belly and she blushed.

It was the time of the night, the moon was shining over the Khanna mansion, and the lights were on. The door of the room opened and saw the lights off. Neil frowned.

Neil: Avni, lights off kar ke kyun bethi ho?

Neil turned his face and he was about to switch on the lights but he flinched to hear crying sound of a doll. Neil looked straight. Neil was confused.

Neil: Avni!

Neil understood that Avni is upto something. Neil took a few steps and Neil felt the moments and heard the tinkling of the bangles. Neil smiled and he heard the sound of doll.

Neil heard: Papa. Papa.

Neil frowned and then he smiled.

Neil: Avni, tum kya mere sath doll house game khel rahi ho.

Neil moved forward: Avni. Avni. Avni, kya ho raha hai yeh sab?

Neil smiled.

Neil: Avni.

The lights turned on and Neil was surprised. Neil looked around at the roof. Neil looked straight and he was surprised to see a doll on the couch. Neil frowned and smiled. Neil noticed an envelope on Doll’s lap. Neil was confuse and excited too. Neil went to the doll and he took the envelope and the doll said, I love you, Papa. Neil looked at the doll surprisingly. Neil smiled and he took the doll. Neil was standing by holding the doll and he was smiling. Neil’s eyes fell on the envelope. Neil kept the doll on the couch and then he opened the envelope. Neil took out a paper and he frowned.

Neil read the paper and he was shocked to see it. Neil was numbed and he was just looking at the paper. It was Avni’s sonography report. Neil’s eyes got moist and he was just looking at the report. Neil couldn’t believe his eyes. Neil flicked the report and tried to read it again. Neil’s vision got blurred because of tears. Neil shut his eyes to clear his vision and then he tried to read the report carefully. Neil was unable to control his emotions. Neil looked around to see Avni.

Neil said with heavy voice: Avni.

Neil looked here and there impatiently. Neil heard the tinkling of the bangles and he turned his face. Avni was standing at the door of the bathroom. Avni was looking at Neil who was also looking at her. Avni procceded to Neil slowly. Neil’s eyes were at Avni. Neil looked at the report. Neil couldn't believe it. Avni came to Neil who looked at her and then he looked at the report again. Neil held Avni’s arm.

Neil said while looking at Avni: Av, Avni.

Neil said while looking at the report: Yeh. Yeh kya hai?

Neil looked at Avni.

Neil: Tum. Tum.

Avni nodded while her eyes were moist and a smile was on her face. Neil was astonished. Avni cupped Neil’s face.

Avni: han, Neil, main pregnant hun.

Neil was shocked.

Avni: Tum phir se Papa banane wale ho.

Neil was amazed.

Avni: aur main Mama.

Neil was surprised and he held Avni’s arms.

Neil: tum, tum sach keh rahi ho.

Avni nodded. The tears were ready to fall from Neil’s eyes. Neil smiled and he hugged Avni. Neil cried and Avni too but they were smiling also.

Neil: Thank you, Avni. Thank you so much.

Avni smiled.

Neil: tum nahi janti, Avni, tum ne mujhe kitni bari khushi di hai.

Avni smiled.

Neil: Thank you, mujhe itni bari khushi dene ke liye.

Avni was smiling. Neil kissed Avni’s cheek. They smiled. Neil sniffed and broke the hug while looking at Avni. Neil cupped Avni’s face and kissed her whole face and pecked her lips. Avni looked at Neil and she felt peace to see Neil happy. Neil was smiling and his eyes were moist. Neil looked at Avni’s belly and he sat on his knees. Neil touched Avni’s belly.

Neil: My Baby.

Neil held Avni’s waist and kissed her belly. Avni smiled. Neil looked at Avni who cupped his face.

Avni: Ab to khush ho na tum?

Neil: Khush? Mujhe asa mehsus ho raha hai jaise maine yeh duniya jeet li ho.

Avni smiled. Neil got up and he cupped Avni’s face.

Neil: Thank you, Avni. Thank you.

Avni smiled. Neil kissed Avni’s forehead who felt peace and then they looked at each other. Neil hugged Avni. Neil was smiling and his smile faded because he remembered something. Neil broke the hug and Avni saw him.

Neil: Lekin yeh sab howa kaise?

Avni was astonished.

Avni: What?

Neil realized what he said. Neil felt awkward.

Neil: mera. Mera matlab... tumhe kaise pata chala ke tum pregnant ho?

Avni: Oh.

Neil nodded once because of awkwardness.

Avni: Woh kuch din se mujhe thora low feel ho raha tha chakar arahe the.

Neil was shocked.

Avni: mujhe laga...

Neil: Kya chakar.

Avni: han.

Avni was about to say.

Neil: Chakar kyun?

Avni: Neil, pregnancy main asa hota hai.

Neil: oh.

Avni: hmm. Aur...

Avni told Neil everything.

Avni: aur phir maine ghar per test kiya. Result positive aya aur phir main confirm karne ke liye doctor ke pass gai aur unho ne bhi confirm kar kiya.

Neil: tum doctor ke pass gai thi?

Avni: han tabhi to sonography karwai na.

Neil: oh han... tum akele doctor ke pass kyun gai. Mujhe batati main chalta tumhare sath yaa phir mom ko le jati sath main.

Avni: Main pehle confirm karna chahti thi. Main nahi chahti thi ke tumhare mann main koi umeed bandhe aur tot jaye.

Neil made a face.

Avni: Main tumhe hurt nahi karna chahti thi.

Neil: Acha it's ok. But promise me ainda jab bhi checkup ke liye jaenge. Dono sath jaenge.

Avni smiled and she said done. Neil smiled.

Neil: Acha yeh batao doctor ne kya kiya? Sab theek hai na? Tum ne doctor ko apni medical history ke bare main bataya? Mera matlab tumhe do saal pehle goli lagi thi tum ne doctor ko bataya? Us ka tumhari pregnancy per to koi asar nahi parega na?

Avni: Han, Neil, maine sab kuch doctor ko bataya hai. Doctor ne kaha ke main bilkul theek hun aur do saal ho gaye so us ka meri pregnancy per koi asar nahi parega.

Neil: OK. Avni, lekin phir bhi main ek baar doctor se milna chahunga.

Avni was shocked.

Avni: kyu, kyun?

Neil looked on.

Avni: tumhe mujhper bharosa nahi hai?

Neil: Baat bharose ki nahi hai. Main bus meri tasali ke liye doctor se milna chahta hun.

Avni: lekin kyun?

Neil: keh to raha hun meri tasali ke liye.

Avni looked on.

Neil: Hum kal doctor ke pass chalenge. Ok?

Avni nodded and Neil smiled. Avni thought.

Neil: Avni.

Avni was lost in her thoughts. Neil was surprised to see Avni.

Neil: Avni.

Avni looked at Neil.

Neil: Kya howa?

Avni: kuch nahi. Bus kuch yaad agaya tha.

Neil: oh.

Avni: tum batao kyun bula rahe the?

Neil: main woh...

Neil thought.

Neil: han main puch raha tha ke ghar main sab ko pata hai tumhari pregnancy ka?

Avni smiled and shook her head.

Avni: nahi. Main pehle tumhe batana chahti thi.

Neil smiled.
Neil: OK. chalo, abhi chal kar batate hain.

Avni smiled and they went.

The Khanna family was standing in the living area and they were surprised. Neil smiled and Avni blushed.

Bebe: kya?

Shweta cupped her cheeks and her eyes and mouth was wide open. Prakash was also surprised. Avneil came to Bebe to take her blessings but Bebe stopped Avni. Avneil looked at her.

Bebe: asi halat main chukte nahi hain.

Avni smiled. Bebe cupped Avni’s face and kissed her forehead.

Bebe: bohat, bohat badhai ho tum dono ko.

Avneil smiled.

Bebe: thank you, Putter. Thank you so much.

Bebe hugged Avni and asked Neil to come. Neil also joined them. Avneil took blessings from Shweta who also kissed Avni’s cheek.

Shweta: thank you, Beta, is khushi ke liye aur bohat, bohat badhai ho.

Avneil smiled. Shweta hugged Avni.

Shweta: tu bhi aa.

Neil also joined them. Avneil smiled to see each other.

Prakash gave them blessings. Prakash held Avni’s arms.

Prakash: many, many congratulations.

Avni smiled and others smiled to see them. Prakash hugged Avni and they broke the hug.

Prakash looked at Neil and spread his eyes.

Prakash: oye again hone wale Papa, lag jaa gale.

Everyone chuckled. Neil moved to his father and hugged him. They hugged like best friends and tapped eachother’s backs.

Prakash: bohat bohat badhai ho.

Neil: thanks, Dad.

Neav was smiling.

Neav: Means main aap big brother banuga.

Avni looked at Neav. Neil and Prakash broke the hug and they saw Neav.

Bebe: han, jald hi tera chota bhai yaa behan ayega.

Neav: Bhai yaa behan?

Everyone chuckled.

Bebe: Ab woh nahi bata.

Neav: mujhe to behan chahiye.

Avneil were surprised and they looked at each other. They smiled and looked at Neav.

Neav: chotu si, pyari si.

Avneil looked at each other. Neil leaned to Avni.

Neil: mera ek vote ho gaya.

Avni looked at Neil and they smiled.

Shweta: Ab woh to tab hi pata chalega jab Baby ayega.

Neav: Baby kab ayega?

Shweta: jald hi.

They smiled.

Bebe: Shweta, khari kya hai mou to meetha kara.

Shweta: aray han. Main abhi ayi.

Shweta went and Avni smiled to see each other. Shweta came and they fed Avneil. Neav also fed them. Everyone was happy.

Prakash: oye main phir se Dada banane wala hun.

Prakash danced.

Neav: aur main big brother.

Neav also joined Prakash. Everyone smiled. Prakash came to Bebe and held her hands and danced.

Prakash: Bebe, aap phir se par dadi banane wali ho.

Bebe smiled.

Bebe: oye chor mujhe meri kamar akar jaegi.

Prakash: Kuch nahi hoga. Aaj khushi ka din hai.

Prakash danced with Bebe and then Shweta. They smiled.

Prakash: Shweta Ji, aap dadi banane wali hain.

Shweta: aur aap, Dada.

Prakash: han.

They danced. Prakash asked Neil to come. Neil joined them. They danced and Avni smiled to see them. Avni’s smile faded and she touched her belly. Avni thought and she looked at her family. Avni’s eyes got moist and she smiled.

It was the time of night, the moon was shining in the sky and it peeked into Avneil’s room where Avni was setting the bed. Neil came out after taking bath. Neil was wiping his hair with the towel. Neil saw Avni and he was shocked.

Neil: Avni.

Avni looked at Neil who hurriedly came to her and made Avni stand properly.

Avni: Kya howa, Neil?

Neil: Kya howa? Kya kar rahi thi tum?

Avni: Kya, kya kar rahi thi? Bedsheet sahi kar rahi thi aur kya.

Neil: Bebe ne bend karne se mana kiya hai na.

Avni looked on.

Neil: Aaj se tum koi kaam nahi karogi. Jo bhi kaam hoga main karunga.

Avni: tum karoge?

Neil: Han.

Avni: OK.

Avni folded her arm and signed him with her hand to arrange the bed.

Avni: Karo.

Neil: Han, kar raha hun.

Avni: theek hai karo.

Neil: Han to kar raha hun na.

Neil moved to arrange the bedsheet. Neil was arranging the bedsheet and Avni moved away. Avni smiled to see him. Neil sighed.

Neil: ahh, ho gaya.

Neil cleaned his hands and he looked at Avni who clapped.

Avni: Nice. very good.

Neil said while bending: thankyou.

Avni smiled. Neil came to Avni and he held Avni from her shoulders by standing beside her.

Neil said while taking her to the bed: ab aap yahan per bethen.

Neil made Avni sit who was smiling.

Neil: Main aap ke liye dodh le kar aata hun.

Avni was shocked.

Avni: kya? Dodh?

Neil: han, dodh and no tantrums.

Avni made a sad face.

Avni: Neil, nahi, please.

Neil: no milk is good for health. Tumhe peena hoga.

Avni: Neil, please.

Neil: no. Neav ko kaise roz dodh pilate ho.

Avni: woh to bacha hai. Us ki achi growth ke liye zarori hai.

Neil: aur tumahre tummy main bhi ek bacha hai aur us ki aur tumhari achi health ke liye zarori hai.

Avni made a sad face.

Neil: no.

Avni got angry.

Avni: theek hai phir tumhe bhi peena parega.

Neil was shocked.

Neil: what?

Avni: yes. Tum peeyo ge tab hi main bhi piyungi.

Neil: yeh kya zid hai?

Avni: yeh zid nahi hai yeh shart hai.

Neil made a face. Avni nodded.

Neil: fine.

Avni was shocked.

Avni: tum dodh piyoge?

Neil: kya karun aur koi option hi nahi hai.

Avni was surprised. Neil went from there. Soon, Neil came back with a tray of two glass of milk. Neil came to the bed and sat. Neil gave one glass to Avni and he took one. Neil signed Avni to drink. Avni signed him to drink. Neil made a face and he showed the glass to Avni. Neil drank it in one go. Avni was shocked. Neil made a face and wiped his mouth. Avni was looking at Neil shockingly. Neil sighed and looked at Avni. Neil showed the glass to Avni and signed her to drink.

Neil: Ab tumhari bari.

Avni made a sad pout.

Neil: koi bahana nahi chalega. Pio.

Avni looked at the glass and made an irritated face. Neil took the glass from Avni.

Neil: pio.

Avni shook her head.

Neil: pio.

Neil made Avni drink milk forecefully. Avni made a face and she wiped her mouth. Neil sighed.

Neil: very good.

Avni looked at Neil angrily.

Avni: dusht. Bohat bure ho tum.

Neil made a face and then he smiled.

It was the time of morning, the sun rose and the vehicles were running on the road. The vehicles and ambulances were parked outside the hospital and people were going there. The people and stuff were passing by the corridor. In the cabin, Avni and Neil were sitting with the doctor.

Neil: Doctor, Avni ne aap ko apni medical history ke bare main to bataya hoga. Do saal pehle Avni ko chest main goli lagi thi.

Doctor nodded and Avni looked at Neil and then she looked down.

Neil: Is ki pregnancy main bhi dus, gayara (10, 11) saal ka gap hai aur tab us ki pregnancy main kuch complications bhi thi.

Avni was looking at Neil and she looked down.

Neil: in sab cheezon ka is ki pregnancy per to koi asar nahi parega na?

The doctor looked at Avni who also looked at her. Neil was waiting for Doctor’s reply. Neil looked at Avni who looked at him and then Neil looked at the doctor and Avni also looked at the doctor. The doctor smiled.

Doctor: ji, ji, Mr Khanna, Avni ne sab kuch mujhe bataya tha and don’t worry, un sab incidents ka Avni per yaa baby per koi asar nahi parega. She is absolutely fine and healthy.

Neil smiled and he looked at Avni who smiled and looked Neil. Neil was satisfied now. Avni and doctor looked at each other. Avni thought.
