It was the time of morning, and the weather was quite pleasant because of the rain. Avni was sitting on the couch and Neil entered the room. Neil saw Avni and he stopped. Neil thought. Neil came to Avni and he sat beside her. Avni saw Neil but she didn’t look at his face. Neil joined his hands. Neil looked at Avni and he thought. Neil looked at Avni again.

Neil: Avni, mujhe tumhari doctor se milna hai.

Avni looked at Neil shockingly. Neil looked at Avni.

Avni: Na, nahi, Neil, main, main hospital nahi jaungi.

Neil looked on.

Avni: Neil, ab abortion possible nahi hai. Yeh mera fifth month hai. Abhi abortion karwana risky ho sakta. Meri life ko bhi khatra ho sakta hai.

Neil was shocked. Neil thought and rubbed his hands.

Avni: Neil, koi ghabhrane wali baat nahi hai.

Neil looked on.

Avni in mind: tumhare liye kiya, Neil. sirf tumhare liye.

Avni: Neil, kuch nahi hoga… Neil, tumhe regret tha na ke tum Neav ke time mere sath nahi the.

Neil looked on and he gulped.

Avni: tum ne us ka bachpan nahi dekha. Neil, tumhe aaj woh mauka mil raha hai phir tum kyun usay gawana chahte ho.

Neil cried. Avni got emotional.

Neil: Agar tumhe kuch ho gaya to main bhi nahi jee paunga. Main mar jaunga, Avni. Main maar jaunga.

Avni kept her hand on Neil’s mouth and shook her head. Avni hugged Neil. Neil also hugged Avni and they cried.

Avni broke the hug and cupped Neil’s face.

Neil cried and he hugged Avni. They cried.

Later, Avneil were sitting with the doctor and the doctor looked frightened because Neil is a police officer.

Doctor: Mr Khanna, main aap se jhot nahi bolna chahti thi but Avni ne bohat request ki thi.

Neil looked at Avni who also looked at him.

Doctor: so mujhe us ki baat manani pari.

Neil: yeh jante howe bhi is se Avni ki jaan ko khatra ho sakta hai.

The Doctor lowered her gaze.

Avni looked at Neil and the doctor felt guilty.

The doctor was shocked and Avni also looked at Neil and the doctor shockingly.

Doctor: Main Avni ko her checkup per kehti thi ke woh aap ko sach bata de.

Avneil looked at each other. Neil fumed and then he looked the doctor.

Doctor: aur Avni ne kaha tha mujhe...

Neil: kisi ke bhi kehne per aap kuch bhi kar dengi. Main to aaj hi aap per case karne wala tha.
The doctor was shocked and she looked at Avni who also looked at her.

Neil: lekin Avni ne rok liya mujhe.

Avni: Neil, please.

Neil looked at Avni and he sighed.

Neil: anyways. Aaj main aap se Avni k condition ke bare main janane aya hun.

Avni was looking at Neil.

Neil: umeed karta hun is baar aap jhoot nahi bolengi.

The doctor looked at Avni and Neil also looked at Avni. Avni looked at Neil and then she looked at the doctor. Avni nodded and Neil looked at the doctor.

Doctor: Dekhiya, Mr Khanna, risk to apni jaga hai.

Neil was shocked and Avni looked at him.

Doctor: lekin proper care se case ko control kiya jaa sakta hai. Avni, ab tak ki journey tay kar ayi hai. I wish agaye ki journey bhi yeh ase hi par kar le.

Neil thought and looked at Avni and then he looked at the doctor.

Neil: is ke consquences kya, kya ho sakte hain?

Doctor: pehle to miscarriage ka tha.

Avneil were shocked.

Avneil were relieved.

Doctor: baby aur Avni ki life ko risk hai.

Neil was shocked and Avni looked at him.

Doctor: aur Avni ka c-section hi hoga.

Neil was shocked and Avni’s eyes were on him.

Neil: C-section?

The doctor nodded.

Neil: aur us din aap mujhse sign lengi ke agar Avni yaa Baby main se kisi ko kuch howa to us ki responsibility aap ki nahi hogi. wow.

The doctor looked down because of guilt. Avni was looking at the doctor. Avni felt bad. Neil shook his head.

Neil: anyways, Avni ki diet kya hai aur isay kya karna chahiye.

The Doctor nodded and she talked to Neil who asked the questions.

Doctor: Exercise bhi bohat zarori hai.

Neil nodded.

Neil: ok.

Doctor: Baki sab God ke hath main hai. Aap praye kijiye aur jitna ho sake Avni ka dihan rakhiye.

Neil nodded and said, ok.

Doctor: aap ka checkup kar lete hain?

Avni nodded.

The doctor asked Avni to come. The doctor was doing Avni’s checkup and Neil was present there. Avneil saw their baby and they got emotional. Avni looked at Neil with teary eyes who was just looking at his baby.

Doctor: Baby ki heartbeat normal hai.

Avni smiled and Neil felt like he got a new life. Neil was very frightened after last night’s dream.

The Doctor asked Neil to listen. Neil went to the doctor who gave the Stethoscopes to Neil who put on that and heard the heartbeat of his baby. Neil was shocked and a tear fell from his eyes. Avni smiled and a tear fell from her eye. Neil cried and cupped his mouth with one hand. The doctor got emotional to see Neil. Neil looked at the screen and he sniffed. Neil gave the Stethoscopes back and he moved from there. Avni was looking at Neil. Neil cupped his mouth and cried. Neil wiped his face and sighed. Neil wiped his tears and sniffed. Neil wiped his nose with his sleeves and then he sighed. Neil turned and came to Avni. Avneil were sitting with the doctor.

Doctor: Avni and Baby, both are fine.

Neil got relieved. They talked. The doctor passed the file and Neil took it.

Avni: thank you, doctor.

Neil looked at Avni. The doctor smiled and nodded. They got up and went from there. The doctor thought.

Later, Avni was sitting on the bed and was lost in her thoughts. Now she is pregnant so small things hurt her and here Neil asked her to abort her child so she was very hurt this time, Avni was very hurt.

1.Neil: theek hai mat chalo. Lekin tumhe is bache aur mujh main se kisi ek ko chunana hoga.

Avni was shocked.

Avni’s eyes got moist. Neil entered the room. Neil saw Avni and he came to Avni who looked at him. Neil passed the juice to Avni who took the juice and Neil sat beside her. Neil found Avni upset. Avni had the juice and Neil took the glass from Avni’s hand. Neil kept the glass on the sidetable and sat back on the bed. Neil looked at Avni.

Neil: tumhe kya howa hai?

Avni shook her head while looking down.

Avni: kuch nahi.

Neil: phir yeh mood kyun off hai?

Avni looked at Neil and Neil was shocked to see Avni’s moist eyes.

Neil: Avni.

Avni: Kitne asani se tum ne kal raat ko keh diya ke is bache aur tum main se kisi ek ko chuno.

Neil was shocked.

Avni: Kitna asan tha tumhare liye kehna ke chalo abortion karwane chalte hain.

Neil was shocked.

Avni: Itna asan hai abortion karwana. Itna asan hai apne bache ki jaan lena.

Neil: Avni.

Avni: Neil, bohat hurt kiya hai tum ne mujhe. Bohat zyada.

Neil was shocked.

Neil was shocked. Avni got up and Neil was looking at Avni. Avni went from there and Neil was shocked. Neil thought. Neil looked at the door and then he sighed while looking down.

It was the time of the night and Neil was sitting on the couch. Neil’s laptop was on the couch and he was wearing head phones. Avni was sitting on the bed and she was ready her book.

Neil: Hey, Hi, guys, what’s up?

Avni looked at Neil because she found Neil’s voice low.

Neil: Yeh hai Rabta FM aur aap ki khidmat main hazir hai aap ka host, aap dost, RJ Neil Khanna. I hope, you all are fine and doing well in your life.

Avni looked at the book.

Neil: so, barhate hain humare show ko agaye is track ke sath.

Neil played the song and he sipped the coffee. Soon, the song ended and Neil sighed.

Neil: welcome back.

Avni was trying to read the book.

Neil: Aaj main bhi thora sa down hun kyun ke meri mohabbat, meri chahat mujhse se naraz hai.

Neil said while looking at Avni. Avni heard Neil.

Neil: mujhse khafa hai.

Avni raised her eyes and looked at Neil and then she looked at the book.

Neil: Mujh se bohat bara jurm ho gaya hai aur mujhe us ke liye kari se kari saza milni chahiye. Meri waja se meri Jaan ki ankhon main ansoo aye.

Avni looked at Neil and her eyes got moist. Neil looked at Avni.

Neil: Maine us se wadda kiya tha ke us ki ankhon main kabhi ansoo nahi aane dunga lekin aaj us ki ankhon main ansoon ka zimedar hun main. 

Avni closed the book and her hand was in it. Avni looked at the book. Neil felt bad and his eyes got moist.

Neil: us ka dil dukhane ka paap kiya hai maine.

Neil sniffed.

Neil: Aaj main tips dunga nahi balke aaj main aap se tips chahta hun. Suggestions chahta hun ke main kaise meri Jaan ko manaun. Aur han, aap sab se ek request hai please meri pyaari wifey ko kahiye ke woh mujhe mauf kar de. Please.

The book was open and Avni was looking at the book. Avni looked at Neil shockingly.

Neil: Filhal hum chalte hain humare first track ki taraf aur main yeh track meri wife ko dedicate karta hun.

Neil played the song “Woh hum se khafa hain, hum un se khafa hain”. Neil removed his headphones and he looked at Avni. The song was playing and Neil was looking at Avni who was pretending to read the book. Avni looked at Neil who was looking at her. Avni couldn’t bear Neil’s gaze anymore so, she closed the book, kept it on the bed and she got up. Neil got alert. Avni went to the window. Avni’s eyes were moist. Neil’s eyes were on Avni. Neil thought. They saw the images where they fought. Tears fell from Avni’s eyes. Neil looked at Avni. Neil got up and slowly he approached to Avni. Neil stood behind Avni. Neil raised his hand to keep it on Avni’s shoulder but he stopped. Neil thought and he kept his hand on Avni’s shoulder. Avni squeezed her eyes and cried. Neil also cried. Avni jerked Neil’s hand who was shocked. Avni turned and moved from there. Neil was looking at her and turned. Neil saw Avni going. Neil felt bad.

It was the time of the morning, the sun was shining over the Khanna mansion and it peeked into Avneil’s room where Avni was sleeping on the bed. Avni stirred and she felt a scent. Avni frowned and she opened her narrowed eyes. Avni looked at the roof and she could feel floral scent and she sniffed. Avni sat on the bed carefully and she turned her face. Avni was surprised to see a bouquet on the sidetable of the bed and a card was with it.

Avni smiled to see it. Avni saw a trolley and she saw the breakfast on it. Avni smiled and she took the bouquet carefully. Avni smiled to see it and inhaled the scent of flower. Avni smiled to see the bouquet. Avni took the card and she opened it. A letter fell from the card and Avni saw that. Avni took the letter. Avni looked up and tried to find Neil but Neil was not there. Avni looked at the letter. Avni opened the card.

”Good Morning, my beautiful Wifey” was written on the card.

Avni smiled to read it.

Avni read: I hope, yeh wishing parh kar tumhare chehre per ek khubsurat si smile agai hogi. Isi smile ke to hum deewane hain. Hamesha ase hi hunsti raho.

Avni smiled and she looked up from the card. Avni looked at the letter and kept the card on the bouquet. Avni took the letter and she opened it.

Letter in Neil’s voice.

Letter: Meri pyaari si wifey ko mera pyaar bhara salam.

Avni smiled.

Avni read: Smajh nahi araha kya likhun…

Avni smiled but Avni’s smile faded to read.

Letter: I am sorry, Wifey. I know, maine bohat hurt kiya hai tumhe.  Reason chahe jo bhi raha ho. Mera point valid ho yaa naa ho lekin tumhe manjhdhar main dalna, tumhe option dena, bohat ghalat act tha mera... Avni, sach to yeh hai ke main bohat dar gaya tha, bohat ghabhra gaya tha. Avni’s eyes got moist to read it.

Letter: Mera jo bhi reaction tha woh mera dar tha. Tumhe kho dene ka dar aur usi dar main maine woh sab keh diya. Main bus meri Avni ki safety chahta tha. Avni, konsa Pita apne hi bache ki jaan lena chahega.

Avni gulped. Avni was looking at the letter.

Letter: Khas kar ke woh pita jis ne apne bache ki zindagi ke no (09) saal miss kiye hun.

Avni’s eyes got moist.

Letter: Ek aurat jab pregnant hoti hai to us ki zandagi us bache se jurh jati hai. Usay apne bache ke aane ka besabri se intazar hota hai. Avni, tum khud gawah ho is baat ki jab mujhe tumhari pregnancy ke bare main pata chala tha to main kaise pagal ho gaya tha. Meri khushi ka koi theekana nahi tha. Meri khushi mujhse sambhale hi nahi sambhal rahi thi. Jis din mujhe pata chala us ke agle hi din se maine baby ke liye shopping karna shuru kar di thi.

Avni got emotional.

Letter: Avni, main to roz khuli ankhon se sapne dekhta hun ke jab meri princess ayegi to main sab se pehle usay godh main lunga, us ki ungli pakar kar usay chalna sikhaonga, woh apni totli zaban se mujhe Papa bulaegi, usay ke samne jhuk kar us ke shoe laces bandhunga. Us ke liye ghora banuga. Us ke khub naaz nakhre uthaunga. Bohat pyaar dunga usay. Is duniya ki sari khushiyan laa kar us ke kadmon main rakh dunga. Avni, main to Neav per ek kharoch bardasht nahi kar sakta, apne bache ki jaan lena to dur ki baat hai.

Avni sobbed and she wiped her eyes. Avni tried to read.

Letter: Main janta hun, Avni ke mere yeh sab likhne ka koi faida nahi hai. Jo blunder mujhe karna tha, maine kar diya. Ab mere kuch bhi kehne se koi fark nah parne wala. Lekin phir bhi agar ho sake to apne Neil ko mauf kar dena. I am really very sorry. Really very sorry.

Avni was looking at the letter emotionally,

Letter: Avni, jab tak tum mujhe mauf nahi kar deti main tumhe apna chehra nahi dikhaonga.

Avni was shocked.

Letter: tumhare samne nahi aunga kyun ke main janta hun ke jab, jab tum mujhe dekhogi tumhe mere kahe howe shabad yaad aenge aur tum bohat hurt hogi isi liye maine tumhare samne naa aane ka decision liya hai.

Avni was shocked.

Letter: Tum se dur reh kar bhi tumhara pura dihan rakhunga yeh mera promise hai tum se.

Avni looked shocked and angry.

Letter: Avni, breakfast rakha hai. Please, breakfast kar lena. Tumhara favourite breakfast hai. Please breakdast kar lena. It’s a request. Starvation karna tumhare aur humare baby ki health ke liye sahi nahi hai so, please tum breakfast kar lena. Once again, I am sorry. Please ho sake to mujhe mauf kar dena. Tumhara Neil.

Avni was crying and she looked up from the card. Avni gulped and tears fell from her eyes. Avni wiped her tears and sobbed. Avni cried.
