The flow of time and existence is something science always found hard to decipher. The code of life and time. Matter and substance. If by chance  they did crack the code and somehow built a Time machine and gave Yoongi a  chance to remake his decision , he'll definitely , without any doubt , take it even if it means he has to lose everything he has now. Including his dream career he worked so hard for. That's how desperate he is to find his sister.

Yoongi gripped the sheet music harder , regretting his stupid decision for the gazillionth time.

He had just finished composing a piece of Melody . A beautiful linear succession of musical tones with some elemental rise and fall in pitch . A tear-jerking song that related to his melancholy mood.

As he played the piece on his piano , the sound of the pretty song reverberated through his studio in the apartment. The music engulfed him into a state of calmness , as the small essence of his sister in the song embraced him warmly.

Just as he was about to finish , someone knocked on his studio door , interrupting the flawless music.

Yoongi got up from his seat , his calm demeanor vanishing into bitter annoyance. Grumping to himself he opened the door revealing an excited Jungkook smiling ear to ear like a joker.

' What is it? ' Yoongi asked rather annoyed.

' The police is here for you! ' He replied jumping up and down.

Did he finally go crazy?

' What? ' Yoongi asked again wondering if he heard it wrong.

' The police. They are asking for you at the doorstep. Jin Hyung is talking to them right now. ' Jungkook said , the grin never leaving his face. 

Guess he did.

' Let me see. ' Yoongi made his way past the maknae and went downstairs. The front door was slightly ajar. Yoongi can hear the loud  windshield laughter coming from the other side as Jin made another dad joke and surprisingly he was not laughing alone.

Yoongi opened the door to find two policemen laughing along with Jin.

Yoongi  is surprised to see the familiar faces here.

' What are you guys doing here in Seoul??' Yoongi asked.

Park Seo Jun , the one on the right , gave him a bright smile.

' We've got some good news for you!' He exclaimed loudly.

' Good news? ' Yoongi asked.

' Yup!  Let's talk about it inside. ' Kang Ha Neul said as he went inside followed by his partner.

Jin closed the door and went to the living room where Yoongi and the officers sat on the L - shaped couch. The other members had gone upstairs to give them privacy. They knew all about Yoongi's sister and the kind officers who helped him regarding the case.

Twelve years ago , when the pair were rookie detectives overflowing with passion , they got assigned with their first case ; Taejong dong missing case. At that time they didn't know their first case would turn into a cold case. But they never gave up. Their burning passion refused to give up until they found Yoongi's sister.  They had been on the case ever since then , determined to solve it. 

'So what brings you here??' Yoongi asked the officers as Jin sat next to him on the couch.

' Well , our supervisor caught us investigating the Taejong - dong missing case. So we got transferred to Seoul department. ' Park Seo Jun said.

' Isn't that a good thing ? I mean , you got transferred to Seoul department from Daegu . That's great , right? ' Jin asked.

' That's what everyone thinks. The crime rate here is no joke. More workload and field work. Working here is way more tiring than in Daegu. That's why no one applies for Seoul department voluntarily. So it is definitely a punishment. ' Kang Ha Neul answered.

' But it turned out to be a good thing. We finally found a lead to Taejong dong missing case. ' Park Seo Jun chirped in.

Yoongi snapped up his head.

' You found a lead on my sister's case?'
Yoongi asked , his ears not believing what it just heard. They had found pretty much nothing whilst investigating the case for twelve years. Now when they finally did get something , he just couldn't believe it.

' Yes Yoongi. We found some information on her in the Seoul Gangnam police department system.  She was rescued from a human trafficking ring twelve years ago. There's no much information on her after that. But that's okay. We just have to contact the detectives who worked there twelve years ago. They can help us find her. '

' H-human trafficking ring?? ' Yoongi asked already terrified by the thought of what his sister might have gone through.

' Don't worry. We looked into it. Those thugs can't even hold a knife properly. They were just after the money. They couldn't have possibly hurt your sister. ' Seo Jun said reassuringly.

Yoongi nodded reluctantly. He won't be sure until he sees his sister with his own eyes.

' According to the statement given by your sister , she had ran away from her uncle. That's how the human trafficking ring caught her. ' Kang Ha Neul said .

' Samchun? But he had also gone missing , along with Imo'. Yoongi said.

' That's what's confusing me. I thought they will all be together when we find them. But there's no other information on your uncle and Aunt. Your sister had refused to give anymore statements then. She didn't tell anything much too. The statement sheet held pretty much no information. She didn't even mention you or her aunt. ' Seo Jun said rubbing the back of his neck

Yoongi's thoughts were running wild. What had happened twelve years ago ? Why didn't she mention me to them? That would have brought us together. Why? What about Imo?

' We'll find your sister first. That's our priority now. She's the only one who knows what happened twelve years ago in Taejong dong. ' Seo Jun said as he got up from his seat , preparing to leave.

' Once we find her everything gonna be alright. ' Kang Ha Neul said as he patted Yoongi's back. 

' Hey , you ok? ' Jin asked his younger brother after the detectives left.

' Yeah. Just a bit shaken up. ' Yoongi answered half-heartedly.

Jin quickly understood he needed space.

' I'll go get you something to drink. Why don't you rest up upstairs ? ' Jin said pushing the boy towards the stairs.

Yoongi made his way to his room.
He didn't know what he should feel right now. Happy that he finally got something on his sister? Sad that he now knew she had been involved with some petty trafficking ring. His thoughts were driving him insane.

He went up to his table to find a book with a sticky note attached to it. He plucked up the sticky note , reading it.
