"Have you decided on names yet, love?" The she cat looked up at her mate with a purr in her throat.

"Yes." She rested her tail on the three kittens resting at her side.

"The ginger she kit will be Marigoldkit." She said gently.

"The white she kit will be Featherkit."

"And..." she paused. "Actually, I'm not sure what to name this one, if I'm completely honest." Her tail flicked over a ginger and white tom kitten.

Her mate cocked his head. "I'm not sure either. They're so young, we don't know much about him."

The queen nodded. "I'll have to think about it."
