-The way you showed me the world-

"What time is it, Sasuke?", a blonde haired teen yawned, the crisp night air whipping chillingly against his whiskered cheeks an odd yet loveable trait adored by many. The male next to him stopped in his steps, pulling out his phone from his back pocket and seeing the small electronic light shine on his face.

"10:56."

Naruto sighed slightly, keeping his coat tucked tightly around his frame, his blue eyes lowering somewhat in disappointment. "We must've stayed too long at Ichiraku. Sorry for that, shouldn't have ordered so many.", he chuckled in embarrassment, rubbing his index finger and his thumbs together within his coat pocket. It was too cold for either of them to take their hands out of their pockets and surprisingly, there wasn't a single bit of snow to fall from the sky despite the temperature.

The raven simply clicked his tongue as he continued his steps on the sidewalk. "Don't apologize. I told you could eat all you want - just as long as you're enjoying yourself.", Sasuke says, his darkened eyes glancing up at the streetlights and how they casted their moving shadows in the light.

The whole west side of town was quiet and it wasn't to far from the bridge that led to the city. The buildings were massive, taking up all different sizes however, the only reason you could've known that was by seeing their sparkle of light - it was beautiful from far away. It gave anyone who passed by a sense of content and calmness, watching the different colored beams of light illuminate the darkened sky. The coldness of the night air was only a simple addition to the steady feeling. Naruto exhaled a small breath, watching it form in front of him only for it to disappear with such haste.

"Are parents going to be mad?", the younger male asks, raising a brow towards the other man.

"Depends if Itachi is willing to cover for me or not. He's quite tired of me sneaking out.", the Uchiha mumbles, knowing that they were only a block or two away from his home. "Why?"

A small inhale was heard from the blonde, ceasing his steps on the concrete earning a puzzled look from the other male. He slowly removed his hand from his pocket, then drifted it towards Sasuke's gloved hand. "Can I.. show you something?", he muttered under his breath, attempting not to stumble and trip over his words. Not a word was spoken between them, their eyes locked with each other's - one filled with uncertainty of what's to come and the other filled with hope, longing and trust.

"Naruto, I have to go-"

"Please. I'm not going to waste your time."

"But-"

"It'll only take a second, Sasuke, I swear! If it goes beyond 11:30, I-I'll tell your parents it was all my fault. Ju-Just, please.."

The pale teen gazed at him with a blank yet surprised expression. "Fine, let's go. This better not be some drunken party again!", he huffed while feeling himself get dragged along with the younger one.

Naruto was now grinning like an idiot, pulling the other's hand to the destination. With less than ten minutes, the duo found themselves at a large abandoned building, standing right on the other side of the bridge, the side that was the entrance to the open city. "You seriously brought me here?", the older male deadpanned, his eyebrow twitching.

"Just come on!"

The Uzumaki gently pulled him to the side of the building, leading him up a rather long ladder since the structure of the place was rather taller than most. The two of them didn't bother to look down, knowing that it was going to be a rather long, brutal fall. After some small time later, both of them were now on top of the building.

"Can you explain to me why you're covering my eyes?"

Although Sasuke couldn't see, he could hear the sound of cars below him and the distant sound of blasting music at a club only about 4 miles away from the bridge.

"Look, I know your parents have been pressuring you and you haven't really had a break since forever. After thinking about it for some time, I realized you really needed a place where you could be yourself and just.. think on your own, you know?", he said in a soothing tone, turning Sasuke's front to the direction of the beautiful lights of the city.

Without any more hesitation, the hands from the Uchiha's eyes were removed.

Right in front of him, stood one of the most beautiful sights. The small apartments had their lights on and the reflective lights on a business building had made it more beautiful. The out billboards basked their beautiful lights as well as the large skyscraper in the distance. Just a few miles away from them was the train moving at high speeds with its own runaway light show. Down below were some people walking in pairs or alone as very few cars moved along the highway.

Sasuke didn't say anything, he only watched it all play out in front of him. Naruto didn't really expect him to say much.

He pulled the speechless man a bit further to the edge of the building and sat down right beside him, their legs dangling off. "And I got you something, too!", he mentions in excitement, opening up his coat and reaching into it's pocket. He pulled out a scarf with small Uzumaki crests stitched onto it with the finest material. In order to keep Sasuke from seeing it, he had to fold it open and drape his arm over the small lump on the outside of the coat.

"I know you can also get sick real easily sometimes in the Winter and we're getting close to the snow days. So, I made you this - well, I had to get some help from my mom, duh!"

Naruto took the pleasure of wrapping the fine material around Sasuke's head and tying it lightly around his neck so it wouldn't fall. He turned his blue eyes back to the city in front of him, a smile coming to his face. Nothing but silence was between them now. It wasn't awkward silence, however, there was something loving about this speechless phase and they loved it.

"Hey, Naruto.", the elder hums softly.

"Yeah?"

"Thanks. It really means.. a lot."
