I'm calling this an unpopular opinion seeing as not many people have talked about it. And the fact I probably angered a bunch of people won't this post, but whatever I have the right to express my opinion and beliefs and if you have a problem with that then you can get the f out

"Magical girls" this side of the community rubs me the wrong way, Let me explain.

The whole concept of Mythicals is that we are in hiding and could be killed at a moment's notice. So, the whole becoming a "Magical girl" seems way to op to be real, it has zero drawbacks seeing as you could just vaporize your opponent and you'd somehow automatically know every battle move that exists and be perfect in every way.

Seems kinda silly, Even with your normal mythical there are drawbacks or limitations a good example is shapeshifting. For a shape shifter it would be extremely painful and last for hours in their first transformation and possibly even a few after that. They will never be able to shift without some pain and taking awhile.

See what i mean? What is the drawback go being a "magical girl" even though Mythicals might be real they have a balance, you could say monsters are the drawback but that wouldn't make sense. The whole reason people want to be "Magical girls" is so then they CAN fight monsters.

There has to be a balance, and being a "Magical girl" doesn't seem to have enough drawbacks.

Also! This side of the community seems to be a lot of very young kids, and lets say this is real. Now of them are probably like 8, now imagine an 8 year old responsibly using a strong force of power plus beating a strong monster, doesn't seem like a very good outcome now does it?

And really I think a lot of people find this side first giving them a horrible first impression, I'm sorry but its a lot more believable for things like avains to exist than "Magical Girls" and if they see that first they just assume the rest of the community is a bunch of 5 year olds too!

And they don't even understand the risks! I wouldn't care if they didn't call themselves Mythicals but they do! Let's look at what I think is a solid description of a mythical

a being who has become a mythical humanoid creature

Now I know this rules out shape shifters too, but I personally don't think they are a mythical either, since. I see shapeshifting as a power.

But is being a "magical girl" a mythical creature that resembles a human? No, it could be considered a power, but not a mythical, so really what I'm saying is that

1, "Magical girls" are most likely not real because they don't have enough drawbacks to be balanced or at least somewhat balanced
2, if "Magical girls" are real than they would be a power not a mythical

So please, stop mislabeling.
