Time: 1:55 pm. Next day.

                         Elle

"Kendall and Elle, your dancing for me first!" Abby yelled and Kendall and I walked into Studio A with Abby. She played our music. We grabbed our prop and began. Mid-routine, we were interrupted by a mom. Melissa. "Abby, Abby, Abby, stop this!" She yelled. Abby paused our music. "Hold on girls," she told us and we nodded. "Melissa, go back up to the moms. Isn't it obvious that I'm working with Kendall and Elle right now?!" Abby said to Melissa. "No Abby, this isn't fair!" "What not fair, Melissa?!" Abby asked. "Maddie should be doing this duet with Kendall, not Elle!" Melissa said, pointing to me. I jumped in surprise. Why was Melissa picking on me?

"Abby, Maddie was on the top of the pyramid and she only got the group. Elle, however, wasn't even on the pyramid and she got a duet with Kendall!" Melissa said. "Melissa, you do not understand. I'm giving Elle a chance to prove herself to me. And Elle isn't even in the group!" Abby explained. "No Abby! Right now, she doesn't deserve a chance! Maddie deserves a chance!" "Your kid has had plenty of chances, Melissa, plenty!" Abby said. "I understand but it's Elle's first week! She should not get this chance yet!" Melissa retorted. "Melissa, just go back up to the moms please!" Abby yelled. "No Abby!" "Melissa leave it alone!" "No! I will not leave it alone because it's Maddie's chance! Maddie's chance! Not Elle's! She can't even do a front aerial, let alone a backhand spring, but she still gets a duet and not my daughter! This is ridiculous Abby, ridiculous!" Melissa said. Tears stung my eyes. Kendall pulled me into a hug. "Melissa just let the kid be!" Abby yelled. "Yeah Melissa your making Elle cry!" Kendall piped up. "Do not back talk me Kendall, you don't get an opinion!" Melissa snapped.

Then Jill rushed into the studio and interrupted the argument. "Excuse me Melissa! Did you just tell my daughter that she doesn't get an opinion? Did you just say that?!" Jill yelled. "Maybe I did!" Melissa yelled back. Kendall began to cry. She walked up to Melissa, tears streaming down he face, and yelled at Melissa. "Just stop!" She yelled and ran off. I ran off after her, tears streaming down my face as well.

I ran to the bathroom and cried. I heard someone at the door of my stall. "Elle?" It was Brynn. "Elle?" Another voice, Mackenzie said. Both of them walked inside the bathroom. "Elle, open the stall," Brynn said. "Come on Elle." Mackenzie said. "No," I said and stepped back a little. "Elle..." Brynn said and tapped on the door. "No," I said again. "Elle, come on. We talked to my mom and she cooled down. It's ok!" Mackenzie said. "No!" I said again. "Elle, open up or we're coming in!" Brynn said. "No!" I said once again. Mackenzie shrugged. "Suit yourself!" She said. Next thing I knew, both Brynn and Mackenzie had crawled under the stall door and were in the same tiny stall as me. Brynn unlocked the door and her and Mackenzie pulled me out. "Brynn, Kenzie..." I groaned. "Come on," they said and pulled me back to the dancer's den.
