We all set up and got dressed in the dressing room. I sat down by Mackenzie at the little light-up mirror. Amy came up behind me and brushed my hair her way. It ended up looking like a hot mess, so I took the brush from her and did it right. "Amy, that is not how to do it!" I said as I put my hair in a sock bun. Then I took my makeup out and began to do it. "Let me do it," Kendall said. Was I doing it wrong or something? "Uh...ok..." I said. She took the makeup brush from me and did my makeup. When she was finished, she said, "Get up, Elle." I looked at her with confusion, but did as she told me to. Then she sat in my chair. "Ok, now you do mine!" She said. "Uh...ok..." I said and took my makeup and did hers. We looked pretty identical in the end, except my skin was more tan than hers. And I was way shorter. Did I mention that I'm a short stack? Well, now I did. Anyways, Abby came in. "Girls hurry up! We're now behind schedule!" She said and clapped her hands. We then heard the judges call out,

"First up is entry number 1, Kallee with Carry Me!" The competition was starting. We waited inside. "Ok, so here's the order of the stuff: First they will call Jojo's solo, Fancy as entry number 61. Then it will be Brynn's solo, The Force Awakens as entry number 86. Then it will be Mackenzie's solo, Don't Take My Fire as entry number 101. Then they will call Elle and Kendall's duet, Disconnected as entry number 126. And finally they will call our group, The Atlantic as entry number 192. So that's the order!" Abby said. We all nodded. After a while, we heard,

"Up next is entry number 57, Lexis with Drop Dead!" A teen went out and did a hip hop number. Jojo began to prepare. We all went out to watch her performance and the moms, Gia, and Abby went to the audience. Before she went on, Jojo ran her splits and marked the number in short. Then we heard, "Up next is entry number 61, Jojo with Fancy!" The audience applauded. We stood in the wings and watched as Jojo's music started. She danced very well, and it was obvious that she was born to be a hip hopper. When she finished, there was more applause. "Thank you, that was Jojo with Fancy!" We all hugged Jojo and went back to the dressing room to stretch in private.

Soon enough, we heard, "Up next is entry number 83, Genesis with All That Time!" A girl went out and did a contemporary piece. We followed Brynn out and she stretched. "You're gonna do great Brynnie!" Kalani said and hugged her. Soon, we heard, "Up next is entry number 86, Brynn with The Force Awakens!" There was applause. Then Brynn did her dance and there was even more applause. "Thank you, that was Brynn with The Force Awakens!" We all hugged her and went back to the dressing room.

Soon Mackenzie went and we followed. After she did her number, we went back. Kendall and I rehearsed our duet and soon we heard,

"Up next is entry number 123, Cindy and Katelyn with My Little Sunshine!" We watched a teen girl and a young girl go out. They did a beautiful lyrical dance. Kendall and I shook out our bodies and ran through our splits before we heard, "Up next is entry number 126, Kendall and Elle with Disconnected!" I was so nervous I could throw up, but I danced my heart out anyway. The song finished. "Thank you, that was Kendall and Elle with Disconnected!" Nia hugged me. "You guys were amazing!" She said. We all walked back to the dressing room and Abby, Gia, and the Moms came too. "Ok so Jojo, you did good. You are a natural. Brynn, you did amazing! Mackenzie, couldn't have been better. Same with Elle and Kendall. Change for the group!" Abby said. We all changed and redid our makeup. Soon, we heard,

"Up next is entry number 189, In The Wings Dance Studio with Black Parade!" There were so many people, I couldn't count them all! Their group number almost made me cry, as it seemed to be in hope for people with cancer and the like. Soon, we heard, "Up next is entry number 192, Abby Lee Dance Company with The Atlantic!" We all danced perfectly and when we were done we went back to the dressing room with Abby, Gia, and the moms. "Ok...coulda been better," Abby said. We nodded and put on our team jackets. Abby had ordered mine right after my audition, so now I had a jacket. We all went out when it was time for Awards.

"In 5th place for our Junior Elite Solo Division, we have...Jojo with Fancy!" Jojo frowned but got her award anyway. "In fourth is Kallee with Carry Me!" A pretty brunette went up and got her award. "In third place is Lexis with Drop Dead!" A tall girl huffed and got her award. "In second place is Brynn with The Force Awakens!" Brynn smiled a little and got her award. I looked at Mackenzie and she was sweating, hoping she would get first. "And in first place for our Junior Elite Solo Division, we have... Mackenzie with Don't Take My Fire!" Mackenzie smiled from ear to ear and got her award. "And what dance studio are you from?" "Abby Lee Dance Company!" Kenzie said and walked back happily. "So now for our Junior Elite Duo Division! In 5th place is Taylor and Jaclyn with One Too Many!" Two girls got the award. "In 4th is Gracie and Gema with For Me!" Two other girls got got the award. "In 3rd place is Kylee and Madilyn with The Spotlight Is On Me!" Two teen girls got their award. Now we were down to the top two. "In 2nd place is Kendall and Elle with Disconnected!" Kendall and I smiled a little and got the award. "And in first place for our Junior Elite Duo Division, we have Cindy and Katelyn with My Little Sunshine!" A teen and a younger girl hugged and grabbed their award. "And what studio are you girls from?" "In The Wings Dance Studio!" They yelled. The older one picked the younger one up and they hugged and walked back. "And in our Junior Elite Trio Division....." I paid no attention to this. "And for our Junior Elite Group Division, in 5th place is Candy Apples Dance Center with Love is Life! In 4th is Harper Lee Dance Academy with In Your Face! In 3rd is Abby Lee Dance Company with The Atlantic!" Abby didn't look happy but we still took the award. "In 2nd is Take The Lead Dance Center with My Life! And in first with a high score of 291, we have...In The Wings Dance Studio with Black Parade!" A HUGE group of girls and one boy got the award. And that was all. Abby talked to us about the awards in the dressing room. "So girls...the group's place was unacceptable. Kendall and Elle...you should've got first. JOJO, 5TH???!!!" Jojo looked disappointed. "Mackenzie, NICE! And Brynn...decent. That's all, I'm hitting the road!" Abby said. "Bye Miss Abby!" We all said and she waved in her way out. We all went home. Pyramid soon would be interesting.
